    thank you for giving the row amount (At least on the first bit. I haven't watched it all yet). So often I don't have something to measure with me and knowing the row number really helps

    when doing the purl rounds - does it matter if your working yarn ends up above or below the skipped pegs? I have the hardest time getting these kinds of patterns to work and I'm thinking it's because my working yarn isn't consistently in one spot on those pegs?

      Mine came out fine. You just get 2 odd pegs that won't wrap twice. I just paid close attention to those pegs and my hat looks identical.

    Anyway you can make a video on how to loom knit a mermaid tail blanket?? I've done many of your projects and they always turn out wonderful but I'm really wanting to do a mermaid blanket and can't find any looming tutorials for one. All your videos are so easy to follow. Thanks

    Hi.I have a round loom with 48 pegs. If I were the mark it to 41 pegs like yours, and perhaps I can just use 35 pegs. My round loom can be removed to a certain number of pegs. One stick has 12 pegs. There are 4 sticks. Please advise. I really wanted to do this beanie.

      so far as I can tell, it makes no difference :) overall, it's whatever is more comfortable for you (saw another video that said most right-handers prefer going clock-wise while lefties like counter-clockwise when knitting in the round)

      The size loom depends on who you are making the hat for. For example if the hat is for a child, you would use a smaller loom, and follow the same pattern.

      Heather Bain I am using a 40 peg loom. The only difference is you will end up with 2 pegs that won't wrap twice. I made sure I stayed true to my other knits and pearls and improvised with the 2 odd pegs and you can't even tell.

      If you want the slouch in this picture, use #6. If you want it to be really slouchy, try #5 yarn.

      Hi Judith, you can use a size #5 or #6. Here I used a size #6 called Katia Canada (if you choose a size #5 it will come out more slouchy)

      Hi Rizzie, I am trying to use a 36-peg loom. According to the video, the patten requires a loom with odd number of pegs. Would you please share how you use a loom with even number of pegs to make the beanie? Many Thanks!
