    • @maaz322

      Jordan is clueless. People aren't envious of minorities that are wealthy, such as east Asians or some gulf Arab communities in America, they hate it when a certain minority exclusively runs an industry and shows clear favoritism towards their own while harboring a cutthroat environment towards outsider artists they latch on to. This certain minority has been doing it for ages in the music industry, literally dozens of famous bands since the 20th century and now who were either torn apart or stripped of rights to their own music due to some heinous feud, and coincidentally it's always this particular minority. Now they have rappers on a leash, and have shady practices that would have immediately been called out if it was perpetrated by whites. Jordan is clueless. It's also done in sports and acting... Jordan will just make a fallible equivalencies about human scapegoating and other psychological phenomena while ignoring blaring facts and history.

    I always said that about Michael Jackson. People tried to relate him to his brothers or to other men when he was clearly not only a very unique emotional cocktail of childhood trauma and hyper-fame, but also a bonafide genius that experienced the world in ways that would have been evident even if he never become THE Michael Jackson. We can accept it in autistics, yet geniuses just seem to be 'gifted' when they dazzle us, and mentally ill when they express themselves in ways that are considered damaging by the populous. That isn't to say that geniuses should exist outside of our agreed upon moral and ethical codes or that they're so far from being human that they're some other form of life, but the ignorance required to act as though there is no distinct difference at all, leaves us missing something crucial.

    This touched me since i was in one church and the pastor there never seemed to tried really talking to me. He asked me once or twice how am i and it seemed to be usual conversation, but since i said i was ok he very quickly proceeded doing other things and never showed interest in my state of soul.
    Since he was the pastor i thought God was on his side, and that it was my fault, cause i should be the one asking for help if needed and it is true, but then again its nice to see that someone can try to reach to person in a normal nondramatic way. Just try to talk, see whats going on. Jesus helps me to forgive those who were weak to reach for me, since it is very hard to reach to someone who has problems and is hard to open up, like i was. Im not saying this is the case with Jordan Peterson and Kanye, but something about Jordan Peterson being so ok with talking to Kanye makes me feel liberated from some of the wrong stuff i received in my heart from the time being in that church even though its generally a good church.

    As much as I respect Peterson I believe he is not framing the question that Kanye has posed (although haphazardly). Which is: Given that we understand there is some degree of group identity and shared motivation among groups, what are the effects when a particular group has a monopoly over a number of industries, especially when those industries are heavily involved in shaping perception?
    Its strange because Peterson usually uses this line of questioning with many other issues, yet with this one he seems intent upon framing it as "they are successful because of high IQ, anyone who says otherwise is jealous.
    Its also worth noting that Andrew Schulz made an incredibly questionable hit video on Kanye after his remarks in which he desperately read from his prompter and mocked Kanye having his kids taken away. A few days later he announced that he had been signed by CAA, the talent agency that dropped Kanye for his comments.

Surely they have a presence that is overrepresented in some occupation but almost no recorded inquisition about it in the last 100 years (to my knowledge) and certainly less that the recorded pattern of anitsemetic rhetoric since at least the last few centuries.

On top of that, the conclusions drawn are often unfavorable and centered around specificities surrounding those groups and their culture as well as motivations.
      The issue of black crime and its association with a high rate of single parent household is often discussed. Issues surrounding Muslim extremism and its proportions within the Muslim community are often discussed as well. Both of these issues for instance have been discussed by Dennis Prager and Sam Harris, both who are Jewish. Yet both have recently denounced the issue in question as being inherently "antisemetic".

    • @avertingapathy3052
      @avertingapathy3052 Год назад +1

      @@refromaa7750 Sure unpopular issues are discussed and this is one of them. I'm just merely pointing out that sharing group related motivations in professions and monopolies seems to be something posed square to "the jews" when similar patterns of organization contiue to exist among many groups. Group cohesion and shared heritage has some value but this is almost entirely framed as all jews own the media and no other factors such as roles of class or neoptism is ever brought up in discussions of monopolies.
      We are speaking about a wealthy minority within a minority but when it comes to discussion of the issues unified jewish agenda operating irrespective of say class or neoptism within a community is always presumed as the supposed ill.

    • @refromaa7750
      @refromaa7750 Год назад

      @@avertingapathy3052 I don't think that is how the discussion is being framed. Again, people do discuss overrepresentation of Asians in various fields as well. The reason why people discuss Jewish representation in these particular fields is because these areas have enormous power in dictating perception and policy. Further, many people do indeed notice narratives which center around particular political, foreign policy, and social issues that are in alignment with what we could call Jewish interests.
      I don't actually think its even accurate to frame the accusation of "why doesnt anyone talk about other groups and their representations in various fields", as this particular issue involves a number of influential domains, which have not been dominated by any other group currently and historically. Its probably more accurate to frame the question "do people point out over representation of other groups in areas where a negative impact is observed. As I said before, clearly people do this frequently with regards to Black crime and other areas.

The list goes on an on and on. You can’t fake all that success. It just is. I don’t understand it but whatever. More power to them. I don't condone this belief, but from what I've seen from the anti-semite crowd is less of a complaint that they're rich, and moreso what they do with the disproportionate wealth. It's a very different claim. They don't mind people being rich, as they're typically not left-wing in their economic views, but they often critique what they promote with the companies they own. So in your discussion with Kanye, you need to keep this in mind, since Kanye himself is a wealthy minority, so I highly doubt that his recent remarks are inspired by that.

    What is the subtext here? Isn't being intelligent and "successful" more likely to actually conspire over the "less successful"? Is that not possible and we should just dismiss the notion? (Note, I don't know much about the actual facts here, so maybe he's right in this case but still, shouldn't generalize). Then he implies he knows more than Kanye (again, maybe he does) but he will talk to him to straighten him out, after all he's a genius and genius - like ordinary men - have issues. All geniuses are equal but some are more equal than others.

    Imagine not thinking successful Jewish people conspire with one another to keep the top of major industries in their community.

    the last part is a good thing to keep in mind, though i'm not sure i understand Ye's "genius" status he just seems to me like a regular talented person like other talented persons but i don't know enough about him

      It will be a long time before the average person realises Ye is a genius.

      His background is likely not what you think. Unconstrained creative intelligence is typically a burden to the person, and those around them. The Rap thing was his calling card.

    Man, Schultz is super annoying. You can tell Peterson is annoyed by him too. Peterson is having a run on podcasts, interviewing narcissists a lot lately. Schultz, Matthew McConaughey, Piers Morgan, and now Kanye to name a few. This must be like a case study for him.

      The way he laughs you know he's fake. He also troll Kanye from other video clips I watched.
