i was surprised with the xingqiu comparison. Looks like ayato can be better than Xingqiu for AOE hydro application or for big bosses. But Xingqiu is still better for small single target.
@@SirCastic17 most definitely not. Who needs a 100 m hydro application if your cryo dps isn't even Ganyu. And the fact that he has a bad icd unlike Kokomi's jellyfish who applies cryo every tick. Taking him as your hydro applicator means 1. You lose out on his damage as a main dps, 2. You lose out on TTDS buff and healing. And No you can't compare even XQ C0 to a 5 star. He's still better over all in reaction than Ayato.
I don't think Xingqiu can be replaced with Ayato, well he can, but not entirely. Because if they both are equally invested, Xingqiu remains to be the one with the highest DMG multiplier against single target. But if it's against multiple enemies, Ayato immediately wins, not to mention pairing him with Anemo sucking characters to utilize his burst "quadratic scaling" nature, similar to Childe's Riptide. If any, it is Childe who should be worried of getting replaced, because Ayato is more versatile, since Childe can't be used as off-field support, Ayato can.
He's using C0 Xingqiu which makes sense why Ayato is performing better Childe doesn't need anything to worry he's still better for national team than Ayato since he can vaporise all Xiangling's burst. Ayato works better if you buff his own dmg not the whole team from my testing No one is replaced, we just got another DPS with a different playstyle
If you only comparing the brust. Surely xingqiu win But if you also comparing the E skill. Ayato far away better than xingqiu in terms of damage Also don't forget that xingqiu have very long coldown on his E skill that make him less effective if you doesn't have sacrificial sword In ayato, he have very low coldown in both of his skills and very long brust duration
@@noice3905 against multiple enemies, I think Ayato can offers Xiangling a constant vaporize as well, even without multiple enemies, both Ayato's burst and skill give enough hydro application for her. It really puts Childe in a tight spot.
@@azizsetyawan3038 keep in mind that, when you're using Ayato's E to the fullest, that means your Ayato is considered as a main DpS there, because he takes a lot of time on the field. On the other hand, Xingqiu's E is very quick, hardly even take more than 3 seconds, maybe even less, then you fill that void with another character that does a lot of DMG on-field, for example Raiden Xingqiu Xiangling Bennett national team. Imagine if you replace Xingqiu with Ayato there, if you use Ayato's E extensively, then that means you have 2 on-field DpS characters in your team, and Bennett can't buff them both in one Q, so there will be a DMG loss in either one of your DpS. But with Xingqiu's E being so quick, you can immediately switch to Raiden to use her whole enhanced Attacks buffed by Bennett's Q in one rotation.
Indeed, my Ayato burst is still at lvl 7 and I went and levelled his NA to 8. I thought they converted like Yoimiya's. But I am planning to triple crown him so no worries.
I put Ayato into Raiden national and Xingqiu is now off to support Hutao. Ayato E and Raiden'E compensate for the off time of Raiden's Q while his Q AOE hydro and buff the atk spd for her Q. Works quite well
Idk about direct comparison, but hu tao does around 6 charged attacks per her E, usually her charged dmg is 80K + normal 20~30K with 65/280. So she is doing around 500K total, with rosaria and other buffs numbers go rapidly up. So i don't think ayato can compete against her at all.
Ofcourse the damage is better with ayato but ayato can't heal so i think it's good to use xinqiu too if you have no healer in your team and wanted damage too.
@@cariagakenchim8479 It's funny how you time stamped the part of the video where it literally shows Ayato is better as a off-field support than Xingqiu. Yes, Ayato is better as an off-field support and rhe proof is in the pudding. Hahah

The only bad thing for the hydro aplication of Ayato is the ICD, but its pretty good. ♡

Ayato is actually good for diluc because his attacks are slow so ayato will apply hydro before diluc deals his attack

Nice video. Very helpful, luckily I don't level up his NA yet

his NA can be benefited if you use shimegawa or echoes on him in the open world

The cryo regisvine have bigger hit box then other enemies so ayato ult can hit it more often and apply hydro faster

How about Yoimiya? Can Ayato replace Xingqiu?
chongyun with sobp or beidou for ayato???

Oh thank God xingqiu is best for ayato, I was about to have heart attack there
I still prefer xq c6 than ayato for support
Ayato-better for more enemies like mobs
Xingqiu-better for single target like bosses
