The purpose of sunroof is not to "glide" out or stand your body out. It's a big no no. Many people, including kids, have lost their lives doing this. Even a mild emergency brake can break the spinal cord of humans when they peek out. It's a punishable offense to peek out.

Very right, the purpose of sunroof is only to enjoy sun or blue sky while sitting. One more use of sunroof in India is that it helps cool the car during summers if you switch on the AC & open the sunroof it helps hot air in the car escape quickly. New Honda City is one of the best Value For Money cars available in India at present. 👍
I see people driving BMWs / Ford Endeavours , other expensive cars, with the sunroof open and two kids sticking half way out of the sunroof, it invariably increases my BP. It is so scary ! People don't have basic road sense , knowledge of physics , and any idea of traffic rules.

I bought Honda city fifth generation on sep 2021.. I don’t have any complaint with The car.. I went from Chandigarh to Delhi, Drove 100 km in Delhi traffic and came back on single tank full. got milage of 20.5 Kmpl.. I just love it..it has got Double overhead cam and I vtec engine..forth gen was with single overhead cam..
Same with me, bought two months back 5th generation and trice Delhi to chd n Shimla trip, everytime more than 20 average and don't feel any issues.

Nice couple and review episode. Absolutely agree with their point on the way Honda treats their customers, at least at the showrooms. Personally I prefer 4th gen over the 5th gen city.

Honda city is the best car in its segment.Some things are compromised such as camera clarity and ventilated seats.
City gets the basics like seat comfort, ride quality, cabin space, performance and efficiency right. Now with the 5th gen on higher end trims even all expected features are there and Honda has made the car much more refined over the 4th gen city. Frankly I would pick a City over the many so called SUV's. The only thing you get with the faux SUV is 2-300kg extra weight less fuel economy and slightly higher seating position.

Any day, Honda City is a special car. This gentleman takes the car to Village road but why. This car is not meant for village roads or for any ordinary people . It has it's own class. Don't laugh at Honda City. If you do, people will laugh at you. Please note that Honda city is ruling the market for decades. It is the best sedan available in India, so far in affordable price range by higher middle class.
I observed in this video that he is definitely trying to abuse this great car. The city has been ruling the roads for years, maybe he is not aware of it!
City is the absolute king. If you replace the tyres with Michelin Primacy, its ride quality becomes even better rivalling cars from a higher segment

I have seen lots of reviews and videos about 5th gen Honda but no one noticed the strating problem. In 5th gen Honda I noticed a sound of clutch at low acceleration and speed and the same problem reported to showroom also. They company replied but they haven't satisfied me. Telling the problem is in the design itself and that is due the flat torque technology. But interestingly no reviewer noticed this..

Correct. twice i had considered Hyundai during my 1st car and second car purchase but had a pathetic experience at their showroom and hence did not buy. Honda, Maruti (Nexa) sales showroom experience is miles ahead.

Altroz is a three cylinder 1 L engine. The refinement is that great. It's a tata product so it's safe, but don't expect performance and comfort of Japanese cars from it. It's a decent family car for the city. But if you're enthusiast, a three cylinder ICE will leave much to desire

U have tried to make a lot of fun of city and their owners like sunroof, seat etc but u being a dehati jaat knows nothing abt enthusiasm which city provides. U guys just need bada wala sunroof, unchi wali seat so so.... such a shame.

I am getting 19.3 kmpl easily in my City 2021 petrol manual ( daily office run- 18 kms city +7 kms highway) and even in bumper to bumper peak traffic it never went below 14 kmpl

Honda city is Amitabh Bachchan of cars. Rajesh Khanna was better actor, Vinod Khanna was more handsome, Mithun was better dancer yet Amitabh was number one by huge margin. Rapid and vento have better dynamics but in terms of space they are two segments below.
They have better noise insulation but clutch is so heavy that knee replacement is gauranteed.
Vento/rapid diesel engine compete with John Deere/Eicher tractors when it comes to engine noise and this is the reason better noise insulation is given.
Honda engineers need to provide better insulation to it. Once it is done no looking beyond honda city

Totally biased review as always against Honda. M using this car since 2 years , my height is 6 feet and i enjoy driving this car. Its a true sedan. Marvellous engine and in every aspect.
Only issue is the tyres are very narrow, wide tyres looks good with such sedan and gives good traction
You can upgrade them. I have installed 195 sections in mine. Direct fit tires me options available h.

Your recommendation for Verna diesel vs City petrol in terms of engine life,maintainance and high speed stability if driven with same driving style.
If rear space is not a big concern, Verna is much better than City in every aspect.

I am having 4th Gen Honda City and the touch pad display screen of the AVN system started showing signs of some liquid after 4 years and now it is not working at all. I have extended warranty but they said AVN system is not covered in extended warranty.

The driver seat is height adjustable...so even tall driver can lower the height of the seat and drive comfortably...

Honda City is a comfortable car and Verna is a performance car and fun to drive car and it has automatic diesel variant and I am having Verna automatic diesel variant with a mileage on highway is 20-22kmpl and in city 15-17kmpl that is next level and the concern of sir about Hyundai customer service is right because they are In demand right now that's why they behave like this ! I filed the complaint and then till date everything is smooth 😇
My 10 year old vento gives 15 kmpl , but city is mileage as well as performance machine.

No engine comes close to honda in reliability. If you have some sense, you would choose to this over a car whose chassis has not been touched for 12 years and the interior dates back to ,2011s.
