Today I bring you the honest experience of my HONDA CITY 5th Gen. I have been using this car since over a year now and have driven it for more than 10,000 KMs. I have shared my experience and divided it into 3 parts just like usual. The good, bad and the ugly.

Honda City is a VFM & a good choice. I bought the VX MT variant a month back & I can say this car does the job very well.
Best car to feel the real driving experience....no body roll, awesome driving control and comfort

Really good review dear with so much prctical aspects.❤ I have amaze manual petrol and grand i10 sportz and I have owned Toyota camry 2.4 CVT and handa jazz 1.5CVT overseas and honda,s driving pleasure with honda manual and CVT both and maintenance andcservice cost is too very less.Trying to buy Honda city CVT in Jaipur may be this year or next year.Hybrid is bit too much cost for average city driving of 30 t0 40 k.m.per day and occassional highway driving.❤
Good review...but is this difficult to enter in the driving seat for a 6+ ft person ??

We own a 2018 Amaze V-CVT. Reg Honda 5G, I found head room compromised for the driver. To get good view, if you pull the lever up half way, head touches the roof. Dashboard is also raised. Other big miss for me is electric seat adjustment UD/FB
Reg ground clearance our Amaze hit something twice while going to Goa. Frankly we were terrified. It is low.
2018 Amaze though a good car, missed lot of features. Good to see features here in 5G.
Yep. CITY is great. However, AMAZE is a great package too. Specially at the price at which it’s offered.
I've the same version in silver colour & I believe I made a wise decision comparing to others in a bhed-chal scenario. I like driving feel of this car which nobody can feel unless you drive it.

Hi - I am a new driver and planning to take a used car for my mother so I can driver her when I’m in hometown. If I’m not there mother will use very less. Can anyone tell how’s the maintenance aspect of Honda cars and this one especially?
Kisi bhi car k base variant Mein sunroof nhi aata is range Mein.... Baaki tyres ka thoda issue muze b lagta h, 16" should be there
Problem is not potholes problem is that in cities like Bangalore when there is a water logging then it's a big issue. Cars like City can't cross those places.

Well hey sir thanks for your detailed and honest review , I am confused between city v my petrol 2023 and I20 asta optional petrol, sunroof doesn't matters for me and like we dont have to drive a lot we would mostly use the car for going on trips which would be around once or twice a year , what would be your recommend considering that I wont drive that much moreover more of city drive, I am personally interested in Honda city as it offers 1.5 vtec as well as ADAS and superior ride and build quality compared to a hatchback , still what are ur opinions sir?

Did you upgrade tyres by any chance. Please provide details if you did... Have heard many city tyres have burst during city drive
I haven’t yet. Still using the stock ones. I have heard it too, however, I haven’t faced any such issues yet. I keep the tyre pressure at 32 before hitting the highway. In the city 32-35 is good enough.

Hello sir. Getting new honda city zx cvt for 17.5 lakhs onroad hyd including insurance and extended warranty. dealer said they are clearing out stock before new norms. is it a good deal? Price before discount was 19.4 lakhs
Yes I think this is a good deal. ❤ you can still compare it with a couple of more dealers in your city and have a battle between them. Then go for the one who gives you the best deal possible.
Whatever they give you, just push them for more. If you think they have given ample discount then push them for accessories. 😆 sedans are hard to sell. Make full use of that.

Did you change the stock tyres of this car? Or you faced any tyre burst issue with your car?
Nope. Still running on stock tyres. No tyre burst issues yet.
@@ShubhamSainii Thank you. So many people complaining about it… I got worried. I am taking delivery of V CVT coming Monday.
Most of the complaints came from the people having R16 size alloys with 185/55 tyre profile
@@Novicexmusic There are a lot more ppl who aren’t complaining about it. So relax. You have made a good choice. V was and it still continues to be a very well balanced variant.
How is the cabin insulation?

Hi Kiran,
The high speed insulation is really good. Minimal road noise. The engine is by far the best sounding motor ever. I have seen ppl with even lesser road noise once upgraded to 16” tyres.

I am an owner. Noise @ 120 kmph remains low. Engine roars when you will press the throttle, which i personally like.

What are the negatives of Honda City.. in long term
The biggest negative is the paint quality as far as I have noticed. The paint comes off even with the lightest of dents or scratches.
I am getting a deal to buy zx MT variant of all new honda city in 16.05 Lakh ( on road price). Is it a good deal? Kindly comment.
You didn’t mention your city brother. But as long as you are getting a discount upwards of 50k or more. You are good.
Also try and involve more than one dealer and let them compete against each other. Which is what I did.

12-14 in the City. 18-22 on the Highway.
City is Best, even in comparison with small entry segment SUV

Mai season end se pehle Badrinath gaya tha with my family in my Honda city zx cvt 2023. And the road road condition in those hills is not good and offcourse it was raining as well that time when I went and believe me guys I have not faced any Ground Clearance" issue. My relatives were saying you took wrong decision by buying this car because you will not be able to take it in hill areas. I gave them beffitting reply with my road experiences. If I have to explain the sedan vs "new gen SUVs", I would say, Sedan is like previous government and "new Gen SUVs are like the Current Central Government, Buss hype bana rakha hai...and log usi me aake vote daale jaare hai aankh band karke....You know what I mean. ;-P

Body shell strong hai. Isliye car 5 star rated hai. Check the ASEAN NCAP Crash test video of the 5th gen city.

UP mein hi rehta hoon. 1990-2000 mein road conditions bahot achi thi kya. Tab toh 120 mm ground clearance hoti thi. Sab marketing hai mere bhai. 165 mm ground clearance is more than enough. Unless rural areas mein jana hai.
