Hello My Dearest Gina! I have to tell you that once you made Calamari, the Braciole and Pizza Fritta it brought me back to my childhood. All four of my grandparents came to PA from the same region of Italy in Abruzzo. All of my aunts were the best cooks. My mother is the only one left but she is ninety now and is still cooking! She always made the best food. We grew up making pasta every Sunday with the wonderful gravy cooking on the stove. I also canned all summer long with the tomatoes and many vegetables and fruits. You have made me so happy! I really, really love you and your show. You are a sweetheart. Thank you!

Nonna Gina! The calamari salad looks delicious and I would make it if I wasn't allergic to fish! I did make your Ricotta cookies, and pignoli cookies yesterday-they came out great. I had given up on making pignoli cookies, not that they didn't come out good, just that they were so hard to make! You make everything so easy, and you give great tips on how to do things the easy way. The last few videos, when you have said the more you put in and the more you find, reminded me of my grandmother, who always would say to me "Figlia, più si mette, più si trova"! I love you! Oh Gina we have stuffed calamari in red sauce for pasta every Christmas Eve. Sadly we are not getting together this year:*( I made Clams with Red Sauce last night!!!! God Bless Hugs xoxo :*) My nana spent alot of time cleaning the Clamari, it was so time consuming. She also made 3 Coconut and 3 Chocolate Cream Pies Xmas Eve morning!!! Oh and Gina my Nana made the Baccala in sauce with potatoes and Olives, was very good. And she also used cold Baccala in a salad just like yours!!!! Merry Christmas, Momma Gina! May the Lord be with you and Peace be with you. You have changed my life with your great teaching style, recipe, and wonderful personality. Before I started watching your shows, I did watch many cooking shows but cooking for me was putting Lean Cuisine in the microwave, cereal or PB&J. I now go to the grocery store and cook, my favorites are your zucchini recipes and vegetable dishes. But....they're all fabuloso! Many shows overlook key steps that you point out and you are just genuine. I absolutely love you. God Bless.
