Says who? Legendary not over here. Every beat sounds like he wants to be Yeezy. All those sounds at his disposal and this is all he got. Fredwreck 4life sucker's. He would be very good making song for ja rule 😅😅😅
@@jaredmorales3995 he produced Michael Jackson in his teen years are you stupid or dumb dude? LoL He had the whole rnb & pop music industy on lock from the late 90s to early 2000s Brandy, J-Lo, Backstreetboys and 100 more endless Nr.1 Hits
Rodney, along with Hit-Boy, Scott Storch, Danja and Polow Da Don, are the most versatile producers we've ever had. Dude could give you a R&B marching band smash (Destiny's Child - Lose My Breath), Boom Bap (SZA - Forgiveness, which is the beat that plays @ 2:02), Black Gospel (Kirk Franklin - Revolution), early Dubstep (MJ - Heartbreaker) and Pop smashes (Lady Gaga/Beyonce - Telephone).
@jaredmorales3995 nah, Rodney's sound design is superior to Scott Storch. Scott is a better piano player, but a lot of his beats use the generic keyboard presets that don't have as much character to them. Scott's drums are often right out of the box too. Lastly, Dark Child uses more hard hitting drums while pulling from the old school classics. He's more particular about which sounds he uses/ the sound engineering of his beats.
Although Teddy wanted to sign him very early I don't know if I would necessarily say Protege he was somewhat business savvy already and opted to go on his own path.
@BigMob05 can't deny that but he was also already a trained musician from playing in church some of Teddy's biggest hits are really from his "protege's" the public will never know because they were not properly credited. SWV - Right Here remix for example
Give this message to Rodney jerkins tell him this is the young man that used to work for his father cleaning up the studios tell them I'm in New York I have my own RUclips channel I blew up and I'm going to try to contact you cuz I got some work
This isn't really showcasing anywhere near his best work. If this was my introduction to Darkchild I would have been like yeah ok cool another producer. But if you have heard his best work, you would be like yeah this is average compared to bis best.
The legendary DarkChild 🎶

Oh yes, the PROTEGE of Teddy Riley.
Although Teddy wanted to sign him very early I don't know if I would necessarily say Protege he was somewhat business savvy already and opted to go on his own path.
@TyMaestro He studied under Teddy Riley, I could hear Teddy's influence in His production, Even in this segment.
@BigMob05 can't deny that but he was also already a trained musician from playing in church some of Teddy's biggest hits are really from his "protege's" the public will never know because they were not properly credited. SWV - Right Here remix for example
