    Thank you so much for this tutorial. Your technique really is so much more effective (and a great deal more fun if I may say so) than just using a warm photo filter or an orange solid colour adjustment layer with an appropriate blend mode, as I might otherwise have done - but not anymore!! All the recent series of lighting tutorials really have been very interesting and informative indeed. Much appreciated.

    Hi Collin
    I love this video. I would like to see more videos on dodging and Burning. I’ve now watched several of your videos where you’ve done this and the dodging and burning that you have done really adds a lot of dimensionality to the photo.
    Thanks again for your great videos.

    I've been bumbling around for days, trying to achieve this lovely look using a solid colour fill layer and have been very unhappy with the results. This video has really opened my eyes to the "real" way to achieve a very natural look. Thank you so much. Instant fan and smashed that subscribe button.

    Great looking filter BUT ... after this filter photo loses a lot of details and sharpness. Please check before / after at 100 %

    • @photoshopcafe
      @photoshopcafe  4 года назад

      You can easily adjust it either way and also use masks to keep details where you want. But if you shoot into the sun, in real life, you will also lose details because of the flare and glare.

    Is it normal? when I finished editing an image in Photoshop it was fine and lighted but when I put in my phone it was darkened, a hell of mess.

    if i look at a photo i want to know if its real or not
    why look at photo shopped to hell photos?
    what does that give you?
    nothing because its not real.
    screw this cheating in photos i would say.
    its only for flashing and to get thumbs up.
    These photos have no soul in them.
