Talk with your hands, fingers, whatever, don’t listen to those complainers, we the true fans enjoy the way real you are! 💯💯💯
Seriously. At what point do you stop being yourself and try to mold yourself into what "they" want? If someone doesn't like pointing, they can go find non-pointing content. I'd prefer you be genuine, personally.
Character is individual. Stay individual.
I like the fingers better.
@@jeremywallace5961 that's what she said
@@starlight55971 what I was meaning was.. some one said they took a shot every time I pointed haha so I didn’t point so they couldn’t take as many shots! All in good fun I for sure didn’t (and I can’t) stop pointing it just happens haha
Matt says “don’t go overboard”
Robbie up here polishing lenses, painting hidden bolts and worries about a torn gasket 😂😂😂… I can completely understand taking pride in your work and it looks awesome
No matter what the customer says it's Robbies reputation on the line, especially with something like the Banana that so many people will be watching. He's doing a great job.
The life of us body men
Matt: "Don't go overboard"
Robby: "Roger that, both barrels. Got it."
One man's overboard is another man's base level.
…but Matt and Paul are shuckin’ and jivin’ while Robby gilts the Lilly.
I worked in a body shop for many years, many years ago, so I know how much work it is to do a full refinish. Seeing you adjust the front door, by bending it is how I've done it countless times. Your work looks absolutely awesome, maybe too nice to take it off road for a while.
me too haha that knee in the door trick, bang works out just fine
You can tell when you are watching someone do something that they really care about. Great that there are still people out there who take pride in their workmanship! As Always, May God Bless you and yours!
loved the bit with your daughter as the camera girl!
Yeah.. I'm diggin' the child's literal point of view in the shop...
That was so sweet and a great perspective too
Thank you we are going to post on Instagram of how she is during the day she makes us blast walker hayes wile she sings and dances to it haha I love getting to see my kids at the shop because that’s about the only time I see them!!
@@Flyby-1000 She’s an awesome little camera gal 🥰
@@RobbyLayton don't work too much man. Still need to see your family! That's who your working for but still need to make time for them! Well done with the company you have created so far!
You can point, do what you do man, dont let no viewer ever control you💯💯💯🤘🏽. We all have respect for you guys! Dinner you tha Man👊🏽🦅
Knife hand is awesome in it's own way.
💯
Agree
Be Robbie. Point when you need to.
"Banana Looks good with a new rubber" Dinner's the man.
Robby, you do an amazing job and such attention to detail. It's so refreshing to see a young man with so much talent and taking pride in their work. Best wishes to you all.
Howdy! I am so glad you are a friend of Matt's, Probably the only way I would have gotten to your channel. It would be so hard now to decided who I enjoy more, probably a 3-way tie with Fab Rat's. So impressed with you and your crew. It is just so hard to even imagine what you have accomplished with your life; it really helped a lot for you to share how you got where you got. Such an inspiring story of great success due to hard work and commitment. Your knowledge and skills are amazing! Obviously, you do have management skills too, know how to manage your staff. You glossed over the story of the shop on fire, what a hurdle to get through, maybe some more of that for a complete story? Love to hear you talk about derby days when the 3 of you ran, any pictures of you smashing your rivals, Matt and Paul? Thanks for sharing!
Underneath that " country boy " exterior is a very, very knowledgeable technician who knows his job and does excellent, professional work.
You guys have your own uniqueness. Don't let commenters dictate who you are or who you should be. There are too many armchair haters out there. Just be your selves and have fun.
I agree completely.
Totally on the money. You guys are authentic. Stay with the program
👆☝👇👈👉 how you do because that's you
I am so excited to see Ed's reaction to the Golden Nugget! It's been really cool to follow it's progress on three different RUclips channels.
YEAH for more Banana updates Robby. You can point all you want, your shop, your channel! I am here to watch ALL the amazing content you put up. Nice super duty axles for your Jeep! The banana is looking amazing with your new paint job. Excellent attention to details. the high gloss louvers look perfect! Auction the window off for a good cause sounds amazing. There is always time for ice cream! I can't wait for the final reveal and seeing what the secret addition on the back panel is.
Thank you!!! I’m glad you like our Content we are not Planning to Stop any time soon

Some people talk with their hands and it's ok because it's just a way of expressing. I'm excited about the banana being ready and now for the nugget then the Yoda. You do great work and I enjoy watching.
The Banana looks good to nice to take on recovery jobs, you did a great job on body and paint. Dinner doing great on his diet👍
Hey Robbie, I’ve only been subbed a little while, pretty much since you took on the Banana. You and your team are very good people, very likeable folks. And your little daughter… well, she’s the cutest little thing. Keep up the great work and vids. Big respect.
Love your attention to detail. Zany but professional
The hood looks great! Tip of the week, ALWAYS be nice to your camera girl, especially when they are so sweet!! Your little one is so cute! and a great helper!
The Banana looks great! Well done. Dinner reminds me a lot of my eldest son. Good to see you look after him. The world needs more kindness like that.
Robby and Dinner's sense of humor makes me laugh while enjoying their work...👍🇺🇸
I’m glad the banana brought me here. You guys are awesome! Your work is impeccable
16:34 might be the cutest thing I've ever seen. She sounded so excited to be helping dad. lol
Got a real kick out of Dinner When unmasking The Banana. Priceless!! Does That hood ever look sharp!!
I can't believe how good the Banana looks! Your attention to detail and going the extra mile to make things as perfect as possible is superb! I loved the part with your little girl filming for you. Such a sweet little voice. God Bless you guys!
You’re doing good. I watched your gestures and imagined some people will be irritated by your level of confidence and expertise. You don’t have to change anything.
Yea what he said screw people that get irritated by your actions or work ethic everyone is different and do different things if they cant deal with it let em go watch something else
Yeah what they both said keep up the good work bro !!🤜🤛
Matt’s just gonna tear hell out of that thing again 😬😂 But it looks beautiful for now! 👍🏻🏆
look at the views this guy got for doing this, he made his money back and then some
You've almost "stolen" my comment -- I think it'll be Best if they hung one of those automatic defibrillator devices up on the wall in the office, for when the fellow who sprayed most of the paint on this hears/sees Matt say, "We got a Call." I think he might need some kind of "heart-restart." (Done with a slug of White Lightning in West Virginia; but this is in the wilds of Utah.)
I absolutely love what you did with the Banana its looking really great. I think Mr. Dinner is very cool and I can tell he always puts 💯% into his job and will do everything you ask him to, what a great man & employee. The Banana looks like a Pittsburgh Steelers Jeep & I love it. Robbie you are doing great and you have great employees & a fantastic Business congratulations Sir., I can't wait to see what you are going to do to the Nugget. 🔥💯💪🏼👍👍🙏🙏✌😊✌
A Hard working young man whose very good at his trade! I wish all people of his age
had the same ethics and drive! Bravo! Love watching your site! From an old school body
guy from Ohio! Keep up the great work!----Dave
Buckeye fist bump. Watching all these guys work together and get along so well makes me want to hit the road and check out Utah.
I love it when professionals explain their craft, and demonstrate their commitment. Congratulations to the entire crew on an awesome restoration! There's nothing wrong with "talking with your hands", BTW!
Absolutely, these are the kind of guys we want because they do it right 👍💯🇺🇸
Hope you left the dump stop red so every time Matt fills up he sees it! You guys are killin' the Banana and the pride and workmanship definitely shows!
Yes we left it red haha but it’s really faint
Hahahaha. Matt will never see it. He only goes to the gas station for snacks, lol
Matt fueling up?! 🤨 Next you're gonna say he measures things! 😂
Ya, he will never see it... Lol
Or when Matt runs out of fuel 😂🤣
I wish this body shop was near me! The attention to detail is incredible, they go the extra mile for on every single little part.
Congratulations, Robby on 100K subs. I can’t say enough about the professionalism shown by you and your team.
Man that thing looks awesome guys. I love how Matt said it doesn't need to be perfect and you guys go to the extent of painting bolts most people wont see. Great job guys.
I love how you show mistakes - make it realistic cause things never go perfect or as expected. good job!
You do great work! Yes, Matt will be very happy with the Banana!
Your attention to detail is awesome you do very nice work from what I can see on the video. It's a good thing Matt has deep pockets 😁 cuz you guys have really put a lot of time and effort into it. It looks fantastic
You And your team are doing a marvelous job your attention to detail is second to none
This became my favorite channel in a very short time. Excellent content and presentation, pointy finger 'n all.
I love the amount of pride you guys have in your work. You guys do great work and I love how you explain a bunch of stuff to us. Can’t wait to see the work you do on the nugget. God bless!
I love the new game, changed from where’s Waldo, to where’s Dinner? Lmao.. he makes my day better :).
"What are you doing Dad?" So cute!
I have a new appreciation for the amount of work that goes into auto body repair.
Cracking job, amazing how this hard working vehicle looks so good again, the black and yellow really pops
Matt will cry. And deservedly so. Great work Robby and crew!
I absolutely love you guys. The best thing that ever happened to the banana was having you handle it's restoration. I love the videos here so much, I hate for them to end.
Going to be rough watching the first recovery that it goes on. Looking really good.
1st dent scratch is the worst hardest one...
It's a work vehicle, but it's gonna be hard to watch it get abused after all of your beautiful work. Hopefully, Matt will try to take care of it as much as he can.
Yes, it loks way too good for what it's gonna get used for
This is a high quality job mates, congratulations! I love the black back mirrors.
Everybody should be so lucky to have such a great place to work. Bunch of great people. Dinner is our favorite!
Looks really sharp. Your attention to detail is amazing! Great work guys.
What a great Sunday! This, the golden nugget getting wrapped up, and Rudy's keep getting tested.
Attention to detail is the mark of a true craftsman.....the Banana is looking Fantastic...!!!
I can truly appreciate the work you've put into it. I know Matt's gonna love it. Were it mine, I would do the flares bedliner black, and the door handles black. I've always liked just a little color offset in places. Can't wait till yall thrash on the 'Nugget
@@dannytipple1232 I definitely agree on black for those handles.
YES! Please make the HANDLES black - The Euro Look was left in the 80's (That was the only bad thing from the 80's though)
Agreed, awesome job but the handles really need to be black.
For your bump stop for the filler cap door, you can find a commercial hollow metal door or hardware company and ask for a hollow metal door frame silencer. They usually are gray, but it should work. Looking good!
I came here to say this very thing!
@Brian Casey Great minds! Lol
Exactly what I thought of. I’m sure someone makes black ones.
Or check McMaster-Carr.
and I was gonna suggest 3d printing one. about a penny worth of materials and 10 minutes of design and you should have the part done in half an hour. way less than talking to another company or even just searching around.
Every video should end on Big Dinner and those positive vibes he radiates!
Amazing work, looking great to see it coming together.
Love the content! Hope you are doing well Robby and crew! Wish you all the best. Regards from Norway!
My dad worked at the Dodge truck assembly plant for years and said they aligned the doors with the same bending technique you used.
I can't wait to see the Golden nugget and the Banana finished also robby is there a reason you did the door handles yellow vs black its a unique look for sure
I was wondering about that also. I was surprised they were yellow.
I echo the surprise at yellow door handles versus black (I might have even done black Rhino on the handles as they will see a lot of sandy/muddy/gritty hands).
I'm thinking they will rethink the door handle colour so it will set off the louvres. Be sure to put that clear plastic on the door skin so fingernails won't scratch this beauty.
Perhaps the piece above the rear license plate too.
I think it's because that's the way they were before and Robbie is trying to keep it the same. I presume Matt just didn't mask off the handles when he painted it originally.
@@jeepzjken you are most probably correct in that statement
As any Italian-American can tell you, a sure sign of superior intellect is the ability to make a point clear with the use of fingers.
Great video! Great to get to watch exactly how much labor is involved in getting the Banana done! Lots to consider when doing things the right way!!
I think that those door handles wood have “popped” against that yellow if they were black like the mirrors.
Yep that would look better in my opinion but not not worth painting again.
Best I remember, the XJ door handles were originally black plastic and not painted. I think that would have been better... Painting them yellow just doesn't look right...
The thing is, they were already painted yellow when the Banana came in to the shop.
Feel like louder bolts should be black
That's what I was thinking, they just don't look good yellow.
Paint looks *awesome* - and yes - the contrast between the gloss black hood louvers / mirrors and the gloss yellow body paint is really nice! Yet another entertaining and informative video. As I think I've mentioned before (or maybe not) - Your videos so far have had an outstanding level of holding my attention to where I never think of fast-forwarding in an attempt to rush to the result. Thank you again, for the continued content!
On the assembly line, we had the car go through our station (non stop) for 57 seconds...when the door fit needed tweaked we would push the proud of the door against a rubber mallet in the door opening as a fulcrum. Same for the hood and hatch...great job 👏 to all in your shop!!
What a super job you have done on the Banana! Your daughter is adorable. She can be camera person any time she wants.
Between Robbie , Matt , and Paul ; plenty of great vids to watch ! Thx guys ( and ladies ) . - Ken
Oh wow! Just hearing you daughters little voice reminds me of my little girl even though she is going to university I still see her that size lol! Cherish every minute with that little one they grow up so fast! Keep up the great content.
Man...this is beginning to look real good. Love it. The Banana is going to be totally reborn. Great job Robby and the team...awesome work👍
It looks so good, I can't wait to see Matt's reaction. No doubt he's gonna love it
Good job Robby. I think Matt will be very pleased
Robby: It is so nice of you to have trained "Dinner" to be like a right hand to you. He will always be a loyal employee, and it is wonderful that you do such great work. Great team (all of you). I love watching.
Dinners more than an employee he is Robbies best friend. And the fact that Dinners actually losing weight and getting healthier is an awesome testament to Robbies family encouraging and supporting him through it.
Gotta say, the paint choices are spot on, shiny banana yellow and the shiny black accents looks amazing with just the right amount of matte black from the window trim and the other accessories adding a layer of cool!
As for the nay sayers about using your hands to talk with they probably don’t realize how much they themselves do the same, like I’ve said to others doing RUclips, you do you and we’ll keep watching.
Can’t wait to see the final design!! 😎😎
I love your professionalism and attention to detail. It was a pleasure to watch you work on the Bananas
Robby is his own man. If he want to talk with his hands, he can. RUclips comments Gonna make him be all self conscious and boring.
I was just being funny I can’t stop my hands from talking for me even if I tried
@@RobbyLayton Sean evans on hot ones rocks his hands every episode 😂
Robby, you guys rock! What a tedious job. I love that you show the real life problems you encounter along the way. Makes me feel better about my problems when I try to fix stuff 😁
Awesome... looking forward to your magic on The Nugget
Robby and crew your doing a great job. You don't find to many men that take pride in there work anymore. Robby Layton you should be proud.
The Banana looks fantastic!!! Great job crew!
Looks great! I appreciate your attention to detail. I also appreciate that this is truly a family business.
I love all the friendships that come from these vids i make my boyfriend sit and watch them with my. Love you guys
It's looking great. I love that you are explaining the details as you go along.
Looking forward to the final product and the work that's going to be done on the Golden Nugget. I like how you include everyone that works for you in your videos. Dinner has so much positivity about him and seems like a really down to earth person. Keep on doing what you guys are doing because it works.
You guys definitely went the extra mile on that keep. Great job. It looks awesome!
You guys did a really incredible job!! It looks awesome! 👍
Thanks for all the amazing high quality videos!!!
What a great place to work. A perfectionist boss that is actually kind to his staff. Rarity!
Great work guys. I hadn’t realised how much effort went into a restore such as this 👍
Yeah people just don't know, there is a lot to take apart and assemble, and that doesn't always go like you think!
this show keeps getting better and better! I started with matts off-road and now I'm hooked on these guys. best thing about 2022 so far lol
It's always fun to watch you all working & having some banter & jokes. Seeing what goes into these jobs gives us not in the industry a real appreciation & understanding of the amount of work involved. Just love your passion for doing the best you can all the time & being humble about fixing things that aren't. It's seems to be less common for people to take pride in doing things well.
You sure have a great team there! I appreciate the teaching too, I've learned a lot from you. Really enjoying all your videos, thanks for the great content.
Looks great. You guys do awesome work. For me personally I would have painted the door handles black, would be alot better contrast against the yellow. But that is my own personal opinion.
Just wanted to say that while your workmanship looks amazing the way you explain things is truly awesome. I don't know the first thing about autobody work and yet as you go through the process I totally understand what you are doing and why you are doing it. This makes it so much fun to watch and learn. Thanks for such awesome videos!
I always get big chuckle out of seeing Big Dinner! His smile and laugh are absolutely infectious! The Banana is looking fabulous. Can't wait to see it done and then on to the Nugget.
The Banana looks Awesome. You have done an absolutely beautiful job on her. Matt will be just soo excited, he will probably won't be able to contain himself to go out and test drive it 4-Wheeling. Great recordings of your work as well, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the process. Make one really appreciate what you do for a living. Something to take pride in too.
I’ll admit, I will NOT miss seeing all the red / maroon poking through on the Banana. Looking good now!
Looks great, actually perfect. Great Job Robby and the whole crew!
I like that you go the extra mile to put out the very best quality of work that you can
Robby , the rubber "silencer" you used for the gas door is very similar to a commercial hollow metal frame "silencer". Part number 608-RKW by Rockwood Manufacturing.
Napa has a body clip binder also, I've sold ones real similar that would work. Usually in stock or close by with them. I'd imagine AZ or o'rielly would as well
That's what RUclips comments are for :)
Could also 3D print one from TPU/TPE to be the same dimensionally as the OEM. Be less than a quarter in material and any color you could imagine. Robby I’d be happy to help with this if you could send me a bumper.
Get that thing done. Ed needs to be able to drive drive it again
It's looking great can't wait to see it back on the tracks and helping people again great job all the best to you all
Looking awesome, its all in the details. Good job.
Outstanding work!
Love your wife's giggles, and the family being involved!!
Dinner is one of those friends everybody needs!!!
Really enjoy the positive energy you project Robby!!!!
First, i think..... anyway you guys are growing on me!, love all your cew likableness and happy vibes ! Keep it up!
You and your team put in a ton of work and did an incredible job! Your integrity and work ethic can easily be seen in the quality of your work. Seemed like you all have a lot of fun which is nice to see too! I loved watching the process and am looking forward to seeing what you do with the gold nugget! 👍👏☺️
I’ve heard of the rope method to install glass in a gasket, but never seen it done. Sweet technique. 👍
I have done it a couple of times. I was taught how by a mate's dad in the 80's, but I always thought it was a hack. I was interested to see it being done by professionals. It is also a dying art, as most glass is glued in nowadays.
