I had bought XUV 400 el pro in April 2024 ( worst experience started from there) First after few days both the screen went blank, i complained and thought it to be a one time affair but alas abhi thak it's been six seven times it has gone blank, each time I have to go to Mahindra for setting it right Problem 2) iski battery discharges while standing from 86% to 36% in five days Problem 3) I got 240 ki range with ac Please don't buy mahindra electric, saare recommendation paid hai iski
The resale value of an EV after 5 years (without battery warranty) is uncertain due to the evolving EV market in India and potential tech advancements.
You're right about the break-even point, but keep in mind that in India, the average car owner drives around 10,000 km a year. So, to reach 1 lakh km on the odometer, it would take around 10 years. Most EV batteries have an 8-year warranty, and replacing them could cost around ₹4-6 lakh. Considering this, it's important to evaluate how long you plan to keep the car and whether an EV would be the right fit for your driving needs.
@@Value_Drive the full battery doesnt need to be changed ,only some cells . After 8 years the battery doesn’t shuts down completely u can still run it @70-90% capacity range
@@dr.mayukhdasgupta3788I'm not saying the battery dies after 8 years; I'm saying the battery warranty is for 8 years. If we need to replace it ourselves after that period, it could be a significant expense, even if only some cells need replacement. The remaining capacity may still be usable, but the cost of maintenance is something to consider.
Present onroad price is 18 lakhs. After fame 2 subsidy of 1.5 lakhs net cost is 16.5 lakhs which is same as top model XUV 3xo and nexon top model petrol. Few features are lesser than top model Nexon EV but price is also lesser by 2 lakhs. I am considering one shortly.
Just got a quotation of 16L for the top model they are currently running 3L discount upfront on exshowroom price

When I reviewed their experience, they hadn’t encountered any drivetrain malfunction issues. Are you asking because you’ve faced this problem?
