They then try to escape not knowing they are dead and maybe the clock got mad because they were going onto something and he was trying to distract them. Also what if whenever they are going onto something they try to take it away by killing them. Everyday is a different day and how it goes will always end with a death.
Every episode in DHMIS is a progression in time, the first episode takes place in breakfast, second is mid-morning, third is lunch, fourth is afternoon, fifth is evening, and sixth is bedtime.

I think it's also a critical look at how we allow children to use the media so freely without realizing the content of it. With the media being such a huge part of modern society parents often leave their kids to watch shows and videos without actually taking the time to look over the morals and ideals the shows promote.
Like the creators said,they actually like cartoons,I do not think they would make an entire serie of videos to expose cartoons while liking most of them
I agree, there are many people who'd eagerly use an awesome media to mess kids up, so parents should definitely watch the cartoons they let their kids watch, and even better to watch it *with* their kids, just to be sure that they don't accidentally allow their kids to be brainwashed into things like the notepad saying that green is not a creative color or crazy brand chasing
@@Undrewie you can like things and show flaws in them. Spongebob is a great example, it was a kids show that used to have tons of dirty jokes. Its okay to like things and criticize what they slip into them
I think it’s the mind of a traumatized child, I think that’s why it’s made to look like a fever dream of Sesame Street, I think that the kid saw something they will never forget. That will change their view of the world, hence being able to see that there just a tv show. Also the “don’t hug me I’m scared” is what they think. So I think that when a child’s mind is poisoned by horrific memories even things like child friendly television can be turned sour:(

If it was before everything happened, how did he know the exact actors that would be on the show with him? I absolutely love matpat’s theory but I don’t know how he could get those puppets before the show.
I have a theory of my own, I noticed the calendar, it always says June 19th (today) and in the computer episode the time is 7:09 pm in military time, which suggests they are stuck in a dark time paradox, I’m going to pay close attention to the time the next time it hopefully comes up, if the same time comes up again I think that they are forever stuck in the same minute of the same day of the same year. I have a few more theories, conflicting with each other though, 1. They are slowly becoming self aware that they are being tortured in the making of this show 2. They have some reason to stay and keep playing as characters on this shows, such as they were kidnapped and being held against there will Clearly if they were allowed to leave by now they would have. I hope someone notices this theory because it could very well be plausible

Good theory but I have a theory that the 3 main characters are actually kept hostage and forced to make a show that's why in don't hug me I'm scared 3 theres a missing poster of them in the beginning of the video. They were kidnapped on June 19 (that's why the poster says last seen june 19) and all the videos take place on the same day. The first video is morning and they are eating breakfast. The second is early noon so they are watching tv. The 3rd video is lunch time so they are eating a picnic, thr fourth video is afternoon so they are playing a board game. The fifth video is dinner and Duck and yellow guy are about to eat lunch. And the 6th video is bed time so yellow guy is going to sleep. I have a theory that Red guy escaped being hostage that's why he was calling he was trying tell them that they are kept hostage since some of them think that they are at home. The date of their kidnapping is 1955 june 19. Who is the kidnapper you may ask it may be Roy. Red guy left the colorful world and went of to the real world, at the end of episode 5 we see him walking out of the phone booth wearing the suit we see him wearing in episode 6. Therefore the Episode 6 red guy 6 is not a flashback it is him going off to the real world not the Colorful allusion he was kidnapped into. What furthermore confirms this theory is the milk carton in episode 4. The red guy left as sneaky as possible but when the duck tried to leave he made it obvious by saying "I don't want to do this anymore." Therefore he was killed. Since the yellow guy is a kid he can't really comprehend what's going on and his father might be the kidnapper aswell. Anyways when Red guy pulls the plug that represents him and his friends being freed and the day becomes June 20. The puppets we see at the end are a new set of puppets kidnapped and forced to do the show. When red guy is freed and when he's singing the creativity song at the club, he Sees a haluncation of roy because of all the trauma he's be through. What may be a happy ending for the puppets we have seen previously is a terrible beginning for the new sets of puppets. What we see in wakey wakey is a new town called clay hill which is very familiar to the old town Yellow guy and red guy were kidnapped in but is more peaceful and better.

Ah, this theory makes more sense after going and watching the videos again. And I found an interesting thing - in DHMIS 6, when Duck Guy gets transported into Yellow Guy's bad dream, he says "-fish on my tray. What? Where am I?!?!" This would suggest that Duck Guy has never seen his own room before, meaning... it isn't his room, it's just a new set that was made for the TV show.
Or maybe it wasn't him. Maybe it was a clone. That's why the yellow guy recognized everyone that appeared (except the ones he'd never seen) but the people that appeared (such as the clock) acted the same as they did in their first appearances, never having met the 3 main characters before. Do you see what I mean?

I think it's also a critical look at how we allow children to use the media so freely without realizing the content of it. With the media being such a huge part of modern society parents often leave their kids to watch shows and videos without actually taking the time to look over the morals and ideals the shows promote.
Like the creators said,they actually like cartoons,I do not think they would make an entire serie of videos to expose cartoons while liking most of them
I agree, there are many people who'd eagerly use an awesome media to mess kids up, so parents should definitely watch the cartoons they let their kids watch, and even better to watch it *with* their kids, just to be sure that they don't accidentally allow their kids to be brainwashed into things like the notepad saying that green is not a creative color or crazy brand chasing

I think it’s the mind of a traumatized child, I think that’s why it’s made to look like a fever dream of Sesame Street, I think that the kid saw something they will never forget. That will change their view of the world, hence being able to see that there just a tv show. Also the “don’t hug me I’m scared” is what they think. So I think that when a child’s mind is poisoned by horrific memories even things like child friendly television can be turned sour:(

I have a theory of my own,
I noticed the calendar, it always says June 19th (today) and in the computer episode the time is 7:09 pm in military time, which suggests they are stuck in a dark time paradox, I’m going to pay close attention to the time the next time it hopefully comes up, if the same time comes up again I think that they are forever stuck in the same minute of the same day of the same year.
I have a few more theories, conflicting with each other though,
1. They are slowly becoming self aware that they are being tortured in the making of this show
2. They have some reason to stay and keep playing as characters on this shows, such as they were kidnapped and being held against there will
Clearly if they were allowed to leave by now they would have.

Good theory but I have a theory that the 3 main characters are actually kept hostage and forced to make a show that's why in don't hug me I'm scared 3 theres a missing poster of them in the beginning of the video. They were kidnapped on June 19 (that's why the poster says last seen june 19) and all the videos take place on the same day. The first video is morning and they are eating breakfast. The second is early noon so they are watching tv. The 3rd video is lunch time so they are eating a picnic, thr fourth video is afternoon so they are playing a board game. The fifth video is dinner and Duck and yellow guy are about to eat lunch. And the 6th video is bed time so yellow guy is going to sleep. I have a theory that Red guy escaped being hostage that's why he was calling he was trying tell them that they are kept hostage since some of them think that they are at home. The date of their kidnapping is 1955 june 19. Who is the kidnapper you may ask it may be Roy. Red guy left the colorful world and went of to the real world, at the end of episode 5 we see him walking out of the phone booth wearing the suit we see him wearing in episode 6. Therefore the Episode 6 red guy 6 is not a flashback it is him going off to the real world not the Colorful allusion he was kidnapped into. What furthermore confirms this theory is the milk carton in episode 4. The red guy left as sneaky as possible but when the duck tried to leave he made it obvious by saying "I don't want to do this anymore." Therefore he was killed. Since the yellow guy is a kid he can't really comprehend what's going on and his father might be the kidnapper aswell. Anyways when Red guy pulls the plug that represents him and his friends being freed and the day becomes June 20. The puppets we see at the end are a new set of puppets kidnapped and forced to do the show. When red guy is freed and when he's singing the creativity song at the club, he Sees a haluncation of roy because of all the trauma he's be through. What may be a happy ending for the puppets we have seen previously is a terrible beginning for the new sets of puppets. What we see in wakey wakey is a new town called clay hill which is very familiar to the old town Yellow guy and red guy were kidnapped in but is more peaceful and better.

And I found an interesting thing - in DHMIS 6, when Duck Guy gets transported into Yellow Guy's bad dream, he says "-fish on my tray. What? Where am I?!?!" This would suggest that Duck Guy has never seen his own room before, meaning... it isn't his room, it's just a new set that was made for the TV show.
