      Why you blocking my comments, Court TV? So disappointing and uncalled for. Please don’t pretend you’re not, because I am writing this on my sister’s account, on her phone, where my comment is clearly blocked and when I go on my own account on my laptop, it’s visible - but only to me, because I called my sister-in-law, asked her to look and she said, “
      “Nope, no comment made by you.” Didn’t think you were a channel who would pick and choose who you allowed to leave a comment, but I see I’m mistaken and as there is no reason for your action, it’s very disappointing to say the least.

      Hi Kenny. I don’t think so, as is was actually brought to my attention yesterday, which yeah I thought was a glitch, so I just deleted my comment, as I was the only one who could read it anyway, 🤣, but yeah it’s happening again today. So, if not blocked - go figure 🤷‍♀️ If you can see this now though, have a good day! ☺️

A glitch that lasted a couple days and fixed itself once she got on my account to mention it, lol, but who am I to question. I’m going to text her that’s she’s visible again. She’ll be happy, lol. Innocent people don't destroy phones, don't fill in pools, don't dig up basement flooring, don't need to sell a long standing "family home" and hide lots and lots of assets. And of course, the dog is now "re-located. . How can you live with a dog for 9 years and then just suddenly decide to "re-locate" him ? In all the trials I have watched in entirety (roughly 100), I have never seen so many objections regarding expert opinions! Even if both sides have experts with completely opposite beliefs as to what happened, it's ALWAYS allowed in. So weird.
    Isn't that the point of these experts? To opine on what their education and experiences have taught them to be true? Attempting to dismantle such opinions is what cross is for.... it just makes the Commonwealth seem insecure and threatened by the truth! Surely the jury must be speculating as to why they won't allow an expert to give their opinion if it doesn't jive with the story THEY are trying to tell.
    Why even allow the experts to testify at all if they can't be honest and trabsparent about the facts and the evidence?

  • @phoenixshade3
    @phoenixshade3 3 месяца назад +15

    Lally is trying to look at each piece of evidence individually and *in isolation* and ask whether this is consistent with a pedestrian collision. He continuously objects when the defense wants to connect those pieces. This is inappropriate. Accident reconstruction *necessarily* involves looking not only at each piece of evidence, but also the *totality* of the evidence for internal consistency.
    You cannot look at one piece of evidence and say that it is consistent with set A of collision scenarios, another piece is consistent with set B of scenarios, and a third with set C, but then neglect to determine whether there is any overlap between sets A, B, and C.
    ADA Lally is acting disingenuously here, in a way that proves he is NOT attempting to arrive at the truth, but is instead trying to actively mislead the jury. This is far more than an appellate issue and crosses into the realm of ethics. He ought to be investigated and censured at a minimum for these antics.

    John was involved in a fight in the house, most likely with the hothead volatile Colin--probably over something meaningless, and certainly fueled by most of the partygoers being fueled by excessive alcohol. Colin's family (the McAlberts) all (including poor Chloe) joined in and beat the hell out of John. When they saw what they had done, they dumped him outside to die. Then they put their pointy heads together for the coverup. Another scenario might involve Higgins with a possible grudge against John because he wanted Karen. She certainly lead Higgins on, leading him to believe she wanted out of her relationship with John.

    One day a woman and a man are in a relationship - tumultuos at that. Both grown people with there own issues. And!!! then a man is dead and a woman is accused of running him over.
    IMO John was in some sort of altercation at the house, dog attack - judging by a number of scratches and bite marks - John was already incapacitated - otherwise he would have defended himself or ran away. I think he was beaten and attacked by the dog at the house and then thrown out on the lawn. Those people who decided to do that were VERY drunk - everybody was drunk - PROBABLY thought the John would get up and leave but John succumbed to his injuries and THE COLD of the night. In the morning when Karen started looking for John she, being perhaps still a little drunk from the night before found John and thought that she might have hit John in her drunkeness. The investigation is just horribly unprofessional and so totally corrupt.
    This could happen to anyone of us and this is America. So, so very scary!
    Karen is not likable, strong and smart. No one feels sorry or compassionate towards her. She is not a walkover.
    And yet she seems to be innocent. The lead investigator - what a disgusting human being. Can not imagine being his wife. How very embarrassing.

    I think he doesn't want to see the about what really happened to John, he can't face the truth, his psyche can't handle knowing his "brother's and sister's" have done something to John to cause John's demise and it was very ugly, hateful and far from loving. One day he will have to face reality and he'll regret staring down, harassing and intimidating Karen. Karen is innocent.
