Not army, but when we came back from the Reaper hike and passed the pistol range, we started singing cadence, and this was one of the songs we sang. Felt great to sing after all those weeks of not being able to
Dude fuck yea that was my favorite part of boot camp. I can never describe to someone who wasn’t there what it felt like at that moment. Bravo Co Plt 1022
My JROTC instructor major Steven speas used to sing this cadence to us while we marched in the veterans day parade. I was in the JROTC program at Cholla High-school for 4 years I graduated as a Sargent first class. I went to cholla from 2011 to 2015 I had two instructors major Steven speas and Sargent first class tedy disusa. Major was a retired army ranger and Sargent D was a artilry.

Even Koreans know this cadence if they worked at the US army as KATUSAs. Sometimes I miss that places, songs, barracks, camps, people and time.

I love these cadences because i call cadence whenever we run and it makes it so much easier for the platoon to run!
