Zach rather you connect with that buck or not you guys have made a really great entertaining show with lots of info and i must stress the entertaining part a lot. Having the encounters getting close seeing those awesome bucks is really great keep up the hard work to the whole crew at THE HUNTING PUBLIC

We used to use the Montana brand cow elk decoy for archery rut hunting out west. They came equipped with stakes to set it up on the ground. Hands free for shooting. You could almost draw behind it...or better yet set it a few yards away while calling. Try adding some lightweight stakes to your decoy
I was going to say that you're taking a page out of Jared Scheffler's playbook, but it looks like thats where you got your inspiration. Those guys are absolute machines!

It is pretty cool what the mic can pick up. If you watch the hunt from Nebraska where I killed the buck you can really hear my heart beat because I was wearing a GoPro on my chest.
I think your only chance was to drop the decoy and draw when he turned behind that one tree. Still, a real cool hunt - I'm learning a lot from your channel. Maybe see you guys out here in PA one year?!
