😂 I am also pretty obsessed with VB kajal eyeliner. I think it is the best eyeliner I have ever used. The new shadow copper is current on the way. They somehow released a lot of new shadows this year I almost cannot follow.
UK makeup artist Hannah Martin used the VB black kajal and smudged over her eye lid then layered VB velvet lid lustre over this and it was a stunning combo! 👍🏽😊
VB has become one of my total favorite brands of the last few years. I love how edited it is, and how much time they take to release new products/shades especially in this oversaturated overwhelming market. I have onyx and mink, gorgeous. And a few kajals. just gorgeous quality.
Amanda, the Velvet eyeshadow looks beautiful on you. I have been eyeing that one, but I'm not sure it would flatter me quite as much. I'd love to see a dedicated video from you about the lid lustres with more colors, and also for you to try Victoria Beckham's shimmery eyeliners. I'm interested in the color similar to velvet and the one that isn't out yet in the minky taupe color.
VB eyeliner tip: when you tightline wait 10 seconds before you bonk and you won't transfer to your waterline. These are my holy grail eyeliners. I highly recommend the metallic shade bronze or the silver. Both can easily be smudged before they set down for a 1 and done eye look. As you smudge the finish/color/undertone changes creating a multi dimensional eye look. 'Not Fit For Print' has great reviews to demonstrate the product's application, performance and full range of colors.
You have to get the VBB eyeliner in olive! It’s amazing, stays on all day & looks fabulous with the Velvet lid lustre, the Dior Khaki neutrals & the Natasha Denona mini gold, I’m loving all the greens 😂❤
Amanda, given your fondness for all the greens, you should check out Terra Moon”s hot spiced cider. A warm brown base with a very wet looking olive green- gold. It is the most beautiful eyeshadow I own. I really like VB velvet, but the Terra Moon shadow is so much more.
The liners work absolutely perfectly as a cream shadow. You just draw it on a little, smudge it out and you’re done. And the colours 😲. Get ALL the colours! No one else does the same colours. I believe the lip gloss, even the clear one, kind of slightly improves the look of your lips. I’ve ordered it in the hopes that what I’ve seen is true. You can just wipe away the liner from the water line by the way. Once it dries down it doesn’t transfer again. Oh if you were thinking about the bronzer brick - yes yes yes. Do it! Soooo good. It’s another one of her winners.
Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve had time for beauty videos. It’s lovely to see your pretty face, Amanda!! ❤ I am a huge fan of Victoria Beckham, but I’ve been disappointed by some of her makeup. I got the lid luster when it first came out and felt like the lasting power was less than I wanted. The color glosses are so beautiful! I had bikini and tan lines over the summer and they were among my all time favorite lip products… but they went bad and developed an awful smell in a fairly short period of time. 🤢I do love the brightening eyeliner for the lower waterline. I just ordered the mascara too. Im waiting for the khaki color to get restocked in the Kajal liner because im a green lover too!
I think making separate videos for skincare, makeup, and other categories is great! Love your look! Anyway, I've been using VBB products for a few years now. I love their packaging more than some of their products. I love their little Lid Lustre but some of the colors tend to crease on my lids. You have to really set them in a certain way for it to not crease throughout the day...so that price point, I wish I didn't have to work for it to work on me. However, their colors are so pretty! I have every color now except for the blue and black one. As for their eyeliner, once they are on, they are on! However, they are hard to work with because I find them too creamy to apply and it gets everywhere if you're not careful. The product that is easy to work with and performs well from start to finish is their new highlighter. So gorgeous.
That green gold color is having a moment. I wish someone would compare it to the similar shade in the new Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex formula (i think it is Daphne?)… I have the Violette_fr Yeux Paint in Scarabee d’Or and love the color so much but wanted to try other formulas.

When you were swatching, applying, and describing the consistency of the VB one, I kept thinking to myself, it's the same issue I have with the Rare Beauty ones. Which is a shame, such pretty colors. I can't make that consistency work on my skin. It patches and rubs away the more I try to make it work. 😭😭😭 BTW **wipes away tears for New Moon. We will never find anything quite like that. I enjoyed seeing a range of VBB products as I have dabbled in her range as well lately. The eyeshadows steal the show! I have Velvet, Mink, and Midnight and they are stunning to wear. I enjoy the creaminess of the eyeliners but they transfer to my bottom lashline. I need to work with them some more to determine if they're for me or not. Recently, I purchased her bronzer and the quality of the powder is exceptional! I bought the lightest shade and the bronzer and contour shades apply and build beautifully, creating a truly natural look. I plan to get a second shade for the summer months. And yes, the packaging is exquisite.
I bought three of the lid lustres (Starlight, Tea Rose and Velvet). I have one lid lustre, one blush - the same as in the video, I haven’t the same problem as you - and two kajals (cocoa and bronze) since before. Yesterday I wore Starlight with Tom Ford Naked Bronze cream eyeshadow and cocoa and they were stunning together. Not entirely sure about Velvet, on me it was really sparkly and less satiny than the other colors.
I prefer separate categories, but do whatever is easiest for you! I was worried that I would love the velvet on you as much as I thought I would 😂 Now I have to buy it!! I love the lid lusters I have tea rose and onyx, too many other things to buy before I get more vb, but I want more lol, they are great with a brush too, cause I have stubby fingers . It is a fabulous green, wow, the liner is great but the stila is better, I have a lot of krinkles and it's creamier. Wow that brown gloss looks amazing on you. I got her red lipstick and I really need to wear it more. It's such a shame about the blush though. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I got these Lusters also in 4 shades, Chanel's New Moon (on ur rec), Bodyography's Glitter Pigments in multiple shades (used to be my absolute faves), Touch in Sol's Metallist pigments (also, top of the list for this formula), and Tarte's pot shadows... I'm a fan of this type of formula and one shadow looks... I feel that VB's Lid Lusters swatch so nice, have great colors and have gorgg packaging yet, on the eyes, they are unremarkable in comparison to other similar formulas... and the glitter fallout by the end of the day is cringe... I just got Moira's new Starshow Shadow Pots also in 4 diff shades and I'm amazed... this quality is insane but also, the price is almost unbeatable.. I've been playing with them in the past couple of days and I'm in love... maybe u can check them out.. I think u'll like them too..

I’m having the same problem with almost all my cream blushes, they just don’t want to stick to my face, I don’t know if it’s texture or hair but seriously I don’t want to have to shave my face just to put on blush!!
Maybe you'd like to swipe the blush directly onto your cheeks and see if it's good that way also maybe your primer might have affected it just trying to problem solve here
You can fix your straw to your can by putting it inside the metal tab you use to open it :) Put it inside the hole once you turn the tab over the opening of the can, and you shouldn't have the problem anymore :)
Your pal Kackie loves the green metallic eyeshadow from VB. But I think you need to drag her to a drug or discount store again - she's complaining about not being able to find an eye liner or pencil that is olive green, not Christmas green or teal. There's Milani, Pixi and NYX all offering golden/mossy greens. She's such a snob, but I love her anyway! And you! You're both so thorough and deep, each in your own way.

Velvet is giving me (discontinued) MAC eyeshadow in Sumptuous Olive vibes. I've been jonesing to find a similar colour to it for a while. I wishlisted a Devinah eyeshadow that's kind of close (Utopian), but I think Velvet may be closer.
Unfortunately if you see a mouse in your house it's usually a whole family lol. I HATE mice. Im super afraid of them like in a phobia way. Like I know there's no reason the be afraid they are tiny and can't hurt me. But they just freak me out always have.

Mink is my favorite. I have all the lid lusters. I’ve only tried the lid lusters and eyeliners in her brand and I live them all

I have Mink, but whenever I use it, by the end of the day there is glitter all over my face. That discourages me from using it.
