- This controller really impressed me and I own and have owned a lot of different types of controllers over the last 5 years. Gamesir really did good with this one and this is my first look RAW review about what this controller does and can do!

How do i get vibration to work on iphone 15 pro max? On ps remote play app?
Was looking forward to this controller and unfortunately mine started failing after 4 days. The left trigger started glitching and the right started acting like a button instead of a trigger😢
Maybe exchange it or return it, I have played a lot on mine hours even and still to this day haven't had a single problem. It's my go to for COD mostly on my phone because I like the bigger sticks despite owning a device like the Ayn Odin 2.

Nice review and your detailed explanation has me almost ready to buy. 🤔 So is the latency is extremely minimal? I use ps5 controller to play Codm, HUGE delay, but I like controller on my iPad 😅
If you're playing with iOS I don't really know in regards to FPS games however on my Android I use it a lot for Warzone/CODM and love everything about how reactive it is. I'm currently whipping together a how to guide as well with everything you need to know about this beast. It really is my favorite telescopic controller of all time as I own way too many of them from the cheapest to a few of the most expensive and this one really ticks off many checkboxes in my books!

I love retro gaming, does it work properly for Android Classic Ppsspp, Epsxe, Aether?
Yes it works for native Android games, games that require touch by using the Gamesir mapper, plus emulation.
I am having problems mapping the buttons so I can play COD on my Android...Any ideas?
You don't need to map anything you just need to switch the mode to DS4 mode to play COD Mobile. The game will just pick up that the controller is connected.
DS4 mode is DualShock 4 as most apps uses this profile and it's on by default.
Yes I mentioned this in the video later on I only found that out because on iPhone it says Dual Shock 4 mode 😆

One tip when changing out of Android mode is to hold the face button first prior to holding the change button. This will prevent any screenshot from happening. I'm not sure why there is a screenshot button. Hopefully there will be an update to change that out.
Talking about screenshots while using this on my Switch I would hit the capture button a lot of times when using the D-pad for older fighting games. It's so close to it unfortunately. I wish they would've designed it a little better but other than that it's near perfect.
@@volcalstone yeah I noticed the Screenshot thing too, I love this controller though the vibration btw only works via usb c connectivity I am still doing lots of testing for a final review/everything you should know too. It truly is a beast controller and perfect mostly imo maybe there's a secret combo to disable the screenshot button!
@@DNAMobileGaming oh I didn't realized that about the vibration. I need to do more testing but I thought it was working on the Switch.
Also not sure if you read the manual but you could change the volume of the device when you're not in DS4 or G-Touch mode by hitting the Gamesir button and up or down on the D-pad. This is pretty nice in case your device volume is covered up or so.

Does this only work for mobile games that support controller or can you adjust the buttons on screen to match certain games touch display in order to respond for games that don't support controller?
If you mean touch games like pubg then yes the Gamesir app helps with this
@@DNAMobileGaming yes 👍🏻 exactly since pubg doesn’t support controller & I just found out it’s called “key mapper” u essentially map a virtual touch pad overlay mapped to the controller 🙂
Can connect directly to ps4 as ds4 mode?
Yes you can actually connect it to the PS4 in this mode, within devices connect it as bluetooth device and Dualshock4 should appear. I tested this recently while putting together my How To Guide for this controller.
Mine will not connect to the switch. So weird. Connected to the phone with no issue.
Hold the Circle button and press Y or X depending how you have your button layout setup. I have been playing on this with my Switch a lot it's the best controller for Switch imo. I have a guide coming for this controller as well, might release it before the end of the week.

Yes the light will stay solid green once it's fully charged I tested this for you this week and just coming back now to answer.
@@DNAMobileGaming thank you so much. I have the defect unit. Purchased another one, the battery level both 100% once fully charged. However both controller have difference firmware. The newly purchased checked under apps had firmware version 2.8 and the defect unit had 2.9 version. Try to update the firmware on the new unit but the apps stated 2.8 was already the latest firmware version. Weird. how can 2.8 and 2.9 with difference firmware version but stated as latest version.

I greatly appreciated the: "OHHH!!" when you stretched it, I feel less crazy for having been so hyped about that feature! 🤣 But my favorite part was when you were shaking it saying like: "It holds really well" and the phone slipped. I'm trying to let people know, it holds but be careful if laying on your back, especially with tablets! 😅
@@GameTechTalk lol yeah that's why I always generally take out the rubbers. GameSir should have no padding then give us the option to put the padding in or I guess just remove it is fine too. With taking out the padding my S24 Ultra with my thick Spigen case it actually feels more solid.
I have USB-C headphones and i was wondering if i can use the headphone while the controller is connected to the phone?
Not sure as I didn't even know USB C headphones were a thing, however most phones can handle up to 4 Bluetooth connected devices these days. Also with regards to the USB C headphones, this uses bluetooth so you could always try it as I can plug other devices into my USB C port on my phone while it's connected to this controller so I wouldn't see why not.
Please I need your help on hownto connect my G8+ controller to my Fc mobile game as it doesn't seem to play soccer games with my samsung S23 ultra but plays other games.

Does the game say it supports native controllers? If not have you tried using the Gamesir app to map the touch controls? I don't know anything about this game so I can't really help other than give those ideas

There's no delay at all.
If you connect USB Headphones to the controller it will work? If yes does it have lag?
USB headphones? I didn't really know there was USB headphones now I'm curious as I've been using bluetooth headphones since they were invented and barely ever do I use AUX anymore either! I'll investigate though because that's news to my ears (no pun intended lol).

How's the sensitivity on codm ?
My g8 Galileo sucked playing codm cause the sensitivity was too high and couldn't adjust
The sensitivity is integrated into the game, how did you play it with your G8 btw I couldn't get the G8 to recognize unless you used the Gamesir app?
Ah see now i understand your all trying to use these controllers for actual mobile games which are specifically optomized for touch control. Makes so much more sense reading these comments. I plan to use for my retro collection on my 23 ultra (beast of a mobile emulator) so i feel the g8 at a discounted price shouldnt have any issues meeting my needs as i had an x2 prior and seemed to respond even with YUZU so thank you both actually cleared things up with the video also
Will it work for phones that has large camera module? Like Pixel phones?
Well my S24 Ultra has a raised camera on the back. I know some phones have crazy square raised cameras as well. According to their website you can peel out the one section of the controller so your phones camera won't get in the way. I tested putting my S24 Ultra in this with its thick case and it fit nicely as shown in the video as well. So I wouldn't see why your phone wouldn't fit.
How does an individual get both android and ios games on here? Is it built in softwares in this controller? And how to get console games on this as well? Are the individual subscription services pre-installed on this controller?
Sorry I don't know what you're asking? This is a mobile controller for iOS, Android, PC, or Switch. Games are loaded on either of those devices.
@DNAMobileGaming gotcha... so in other words, if I'm on an android, I can only play games from the playstore from the android...
@@JuniorNel21 you're not making any sense. The controller is just something to connect your mobile device to. The controller doesn't come with games on it. You get games from whatever device you own and you can use the controller with those games if the games are compatible for controller.
@AJR352 that's exactly what I didn't know. My apologies...I was under the impression that the controller came with apps or software that enabled it to play all those games. I was mistaken. I know the backbone has an app store with games. Guess it's useless to me then since I only have an xbox. Thanks for replying dude. Have a great day.

Quality is this controller the G8+ for double the price you're getting everything you need. The D10s well I have a video coming for it, and yes it's decent but the quality to me at least and maybe it's the color I picked felt cheaper than the D8/9 series.

Ds4 mode is also Dinput.
Could you check the controller with gyro input on games like PUBG mobile?
Gyro support is controlled by your phones gyro PUBG doesn't have native controller support either it requires the on screen mapping feature which works really well but again the GYRO is all inputted from the phone/tablet that is connected to it.
Just wanna know if the Gamesir controller does indeed support gyroscope mapping on the phone screen. Maybe the feature is accessible through their software I don't know. My inquiry stems from a desire to utilize the controller's built-in gyro rather than attaching a gamepad to my phone.
G8 or G8 plus what’s better ?
I'd recommend the g8 plus you can use it as a traditional bluetooth controller or have your phone in it. I've had my phone plugged into a tv via hdmi with it in my hands, and I've had my phone in it. G8 needs a connection via the port g8 plus doesn't

Did you connect it to your phone via Switch Mode? If so if your G8+ Bluetooth is still on, it will try to keep connecting to your phone and won't connect to the Switch. I gave a tutorial I started coming because it truly is the best controller they have so far!

@@HuyNguyen-vm3ox it's the bottom right hand button. Hold it down for 5 seconds to turn it off and press it once to power it on.
Yes HOLD DOWN the power button or the GameSir button, also note that this controller has an AMAZING cool feature that I will be sharing when I do my final verdict video that allows you to just connect your phone/tablet/Switch again but stretching it! The device will turn on with a stretch then try to connect to the last device! They did an amazing job with this beauty!

Did you try connecting it to DS4 mode as that seems to be the only mode it connects to via bluetooth. I was using an iPhone 8 so 20 iPhones ago so if your ipad or phone is newer it should work.
How long is battery life on the controller do you know?
There's 2 500mAh batteries inside this controller and bluetooth consumption isn't crazy. There other controller I own which is the A4 Aileron allows me to play with them for more than 2 hours they only have 400mAh battery inside each.
