  • In this how to tutorial video, we show how to make a plate mold of a clay wound sculpture using Smooth-Cast™ 300 urethane resin. Once the resin is cured, the mold is removed from the sculpture, and Dragon Skin™ FX Pro™ is poured into the mold to make a wound prosthetic. The prosthetic is adhered using Skin Tite™ silicone and colored using additional Skin Tite™ pigmented with Silc Pig™ colorants.

I could do that much more realistically & and much cheaper, the only product on your list I would need is the razor knife - That and a victim and I'm good to go! :-P
But seriously, Great work, very realistic. well done!

Realism is dictated by the sculpt and application, though some people find the dissolvable edges of a Q-Ballz encapsulated appliance more realistic in some situations.

Alcohol activated makeup such as Skin Illustrator works well.

could you please advize me which of your products would be best for casting rubber vehicle parts, that will be subjected to UV, weathering, heat, cold etc.
I'm restoring an old 1962 truck, and want to reproduce obsolete rubber parts, in particular quarter vent window rubbers and gear shift lever gaitors/boots.
I tried contacting technical assistance, but keep getting "access denied sucuri website Firewall " message

Paul, I would take a look at the Simpact line of castable urethanes.
