I have the same material and color in one of my guest room’s. I stapled the material to the bottom of the bed for a bed skirt and made curtains for the window and I found a solid color bedspread that match the brown in the material I love toile material
Thank you for so many great projects! The fabric you chose for the chair is perfect, love it!
It’s so pretty, I only wish I had more!

Thanks for watching Eileen! Have a great weekend 🥰
@@oldmaplehome you also
If you put a hard surface behind the layer of fabric that you are applying a transfer to, it will become much easier! Just slip a book inside the thrifted sack to give you a better work surface 😁❣️
That is a great idea! It wasn’t actually too bad, but I will definitely remember that tip for next time 🤗
I love all the music you have chosen. Although it gets pretty loud when you stop talking. Is there a way to turn the volume down some. Love watching your videos! 😊
LOVE THIS
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it William ❤️
This is really a great craft. Yours is beautiful
So glad you liked it Debbie! 🥰
@@oldmaplehome please send links for your Amazon and where to get your stamps, ink brushes please
The same chalk paint brand in the color called “Mineral” is a perfect match to concrete. I painted a few items and added baking soda to the chalk paint. I’m trying to figure out a good way to make the faux concrete items look mossy in spots.
First, I have to say I love your music choices!! These pieces came out lovely!! I need to try them. But last, the architectural shelves on the stand (my favorite by the way) did the one on the left have a set of false teeth built in it? 😂
The topiaries are my favorites! Definitely going to try my hand at those.
They are too cute and so easy to make!
Can you please tell how and paint you used paint angels book ends . They are soo Pretty
Hi there, forgot that diy was in there! I just used grey colored chalk paint from hobby lobby and added in some thickening agents (corn starch, baking powder etc).
I love that chair! Is it really not an antique?
I really don’t think it is that old… the finish on it looked like a reproduction of an antique.
Why don’t you put the baskets on the left so the beautiful roses will show on the white tray. ❤Everything you do is practical and beautiful.
How come there are no views and 6 likes, including my like 🤔
With love from SAM
Guwahati, Assam, India 🇮🇳 ♥️
The video has only been live for 5 minutes lol and there are views... sometimes they don't populate on your end. Have a great day!
You tube doesn’t update numbers. When you clicked on the video there were 6 people who liked the video before they viewed it; so no views and 6 likes.
Did you know? Green floral foam consistst of 100% microplastic!
I guess I won’t be eating it after all 🤓
@@oldmaplehome Well, sort of... We have reached a point, where more and more of the things we eat, turn out to contain microplastic, because it is a pollutant, that does not break down naturally. A lot of fish fx., now contain microplastic, because it is already in the oceans. So it is lovely to see yet another vlog with great ideas, as to why people should by the stuff.... Try googling Floral foam and microplastic....
Remember the chair makeover from a previous video
Yep, added a little thrift flip compilation to the end of this video since there are so many new subscribers 🥰
What's the name of the design book? Thank you.
Hello! Love your pieces! All the nice things you find there. Crafting outside in the greenery is nice too! But may I add, a point that I don’t like so much !? It is the music being loud against your Voice. I like to hear your descriptions, but the music I find being loud and if I turn the noise down I will not hear you talk either. No offense! Just thought I let you know. (the music you pic is kind of loud and fast and lot of different titles. One quieter one that repeats I always like. So I hope I found the right words cause my English is not the best. Friendly Greetings from Germany Silvia
Onde eu compro este adesivo ?
18:27 Isn´t it simpler to use emery paper, than 3 colouring?
I’ll have to watch the video back to see what you’re referring to…
Does anyone know what the name of the first song that is playing?
Do you deal your Projects. What do you use.
Sometimes I do! You can use clear wax or a poly acrylic.
The only problem is that if you put it on a pillow case you couldn’t wash it..? It would just need to be decorative..🙂🤷♀️
I'm gonna have to, respectfully , disagree on the bunny makeover. They look like shapeless paper maché. I know everyone's a critic😁
The chair and flour sack were my favorites
I agree with you lol… that was more of an experiment. Not really my style anymore.
*Elizabeth, it's NOT called "varnishing", it's called burnishing. 😲🤪🤣 But if that's the worst mistake you've made today, you're having a GREAT day, LOL❣️🤣💯*
Thank you 🙃
@@oldmaplehome *My pleasure, Elizabeth...we're ALL learning, and we don't know what we don't know. You 😊 are a very intelligent woman, and NOBODY knows everything, LOL‼️ I am CERTAIN you could teach me a LOT of things, my sweet friend❣️🤣*
I thought burnishing had to do with polishing a metal
@@knothead35 *It can; transfers are just another medium where burnishing is used. Burnishing is the term the I.O.D. sisters (who invented and manufacture the I.O.D. transfers) came up with to describe the need (and method) for their transfers to be rubbed over with the plastic sheeting the transfers are initially attached to as a process to assure the proper adhesion of the entire transfer (especially the corners and smallest parts) so that the transfer doesn't lift, because it isn't completely attached to the surface you added the transfer to. That's also why you want to seal transfers - that way they don't lift. 😊*
Oh ok. Gotcha. So it seems like they're using the term a tad erroneously, or at least unconventionally, as well. But I get their thought process
As a South African we hve watched with interest since the 60 's the liberalism of the West & hve predicted the inevitable outcome. It is one thing to espouse goodwill.when u r a majority. Quite another when your own culture is swamped as all of Europe hve now dis overed. Equality is a ridiculous myth & the West is finally😮 coming to understand barbarism & medieval cultures simply refuse enlightenment. They hve failured to evolve & they know it. Hence their illogical wish to both possess what the West has achieved but destroy the foundations of its success. Time for the West to settle the matter in the only way they understand.
Someone needs to take the white paint away from you.
Or a keyboard from you… 😅
The trim you used is called braided trim, not rickrack. Chair did turn out nice. You never explain your painting techniques or give wrong information. Very frustrating to watch your channel. Even though your ideas are great. Will be unsubscribing.
I did an entire video demonstrating how I did it from start to finish. Take care!
This comment was unwarranted...she did an excellent job of showing and describing what she was doing.
Such beautiful projects!! I love the crackle effect!! Your ideas are endless. More videos like this!!!
Thank you for sharing your projects. They were explained perfectly for me as a novice. I look forward to more DIYs from you.
Not sure where they are getting that you didn't explain your technique. It was over an hour long showing everything including products!
I didn't even know a crackle product was a thing. Super informative
