it's almost an hour drive from where I live in North Phoenix. That's the issue with the Canes and the Panthers too, they build a Arena in the Suburbs and expect people to drive out there. And there is no mass transit to get there, you are forced to drive. Arenas are Centralized locations they need to be placed in Urban area if they are going to be successful.

Jake Patterson those are proven hockey markets Atlanta was not and as shown with the thrashers Atlanta doesn't give any fucks about Hockey. If the Thrashers had been good early, they may have stayed
The NHL should look at an expansion Seattle/Portland. That would even out the conferences 8/8/8/8. There would also be some great rivalries with Vancouver and Calgary.
Interesting to see a 2021 update on this topic-with the Islanders apparently moving, but to the new arena near Belmont Park, plus the new Seattle team.
And now Arizona in their college arena deal with Arizona State University in Tempe. That second one is a real farce why have a team play in a college arena for multiple seasons when Quebec has a ready made NHL facility and fans who aren't actively annoyed with ownership.
The NHL could always go to a conference format like the MLB and NFL use. A national conference and youd have to come up with another name for the other conference. But that should take care of the whole East vs West inbalance issue
Thank you for being a sane, and realistic hockey fan. It's a reason why I've subscribed to you. I would love to see Arizona move to Seattle IF they can't get arena for them in Phoenix. You also hit an important point when people debate about Quebec and their 'team' Quebec backed out in the Atlanta situation and they've been propping up people's hopes for nothing. They'll get a team, but it won't be for a long time. Seattle will get one first
I live near Seattle just outside of it and have been in the arena you're probably talking about. I'm guessing the Key arena. Its old crap and would need to be renovated for any sports team to play there. Which sucks..
If an arena is to be built in Seattle or Quebec it will be at the cost of the owners. It might even be worth it for them to build one. I would see KC be a viable location as well being better than AZ but worst than both Quebec and Seattle and Hamilton... If you want to put that one on the mix which will NEVER happen.
KC guy and I am not sure if NHL will work here. The arena exists but you don't even hear a blip about hockey on any Sports radio. Even during the NHL playoffs. You will struggle to even find a hat at Lids.
You think you could find Columbus blue jackets hats in Vegas before they got a team? It’s the franchise that brings in new fans, not preexisting fans getting a hometown team
Great video, I like it and I agree with a lot of what you said. I feel these cities should get an NHL team: -Quebec City -Seattle -Halifax -Saskatoon -Milwaukee -Kansas City Do you agree with this?
ShantyIrishman it sucks for hockey I've been there a few times for isles games. The travel is a pain and they need to come back to the island were they belong.
Totally agree with you. PPG paints arena opened 7 years ago and for all the money it costs to build other than the Penguins and maybe 10 concerts it has only a few other minor events
Did y'all know that the NBA Indiana Pacers and the City of Indianapolis, Indiana actually tore the NBA arena Gainbridge Fieldhouse apart on the inside and redid the seating so Indianapolis can try to attract an NHL Team to play in the arena next to the NBA Pacers? Interesting that this happened since Indianapolis might not get an NHL Team.
I remember that, the Penguins were on life support, and Mario came in and saved the day, with buying the team and drafted great, hence Syd the Kid, and plenty more and won some Stanley Cups including beating my Redwings in game 7 at the Joe!
I can't see anyone moving. Makes no sense. Everything would get screwed up IMO. I would like to see Seattle get a team if they would just build a damn stadium. Seattle native here.. I just really want a NHL team ugh.
Lil Link probably not. The NHL wants a balance between the east and west. Putting an expansion team in Seattle would make it an even 16 teams in both conferences.
The NHL should focus on getting another team in the Central Division. There will most likely be a Houston, Kansas City, or Milwaukee team in the future.
As long as another corporate entity doesn't take ownership of the Blues like Ralston-Purina did, there's next to no chance the Blues move. Now that they've hoisted Lord Stanley, that chance just greatly diminished. Given St Louis is now only a two sport town, we'll continue supporting the Blues even if they never again make the playoffs.
I agree with pretty much everything you said. I think the oilers/leafs will be VERY strong next season and as a pens fan, if the pens don't make it I would like nothing more than to see a canadian team take the cup
I say either Wisconsin, KC, or Seattle gets an expansion team WIS or KC would balance the central out with the rest of the NHL if they give a team to Seattle it'd push a team probably Vegas into the central so most likely it'd be Wisconsin to get an expansion that's the most reasonable to me anyways
KC guy and there is almost zero hockey culture here among the general population. It is mostly a niche sport for those of us who grew up in other hockey markets and moved here.
Canadian Indy as a Hamilton resident I can see why you say move a team here. Problem is you have buffalo and Toronto within the same driving distance roughly. Those gms don't want a Hamilton team because it will drag their profit margin down. Hockey is very much alive in Hamilton though. The ohl team seems to be bringing in fans but that's because they win unlike the bulldogs when they were an ahl team.
Quebec just won't get a team until Seattle does. The conferences will have to balance before that is even a possibility (like you said in the video). Seattle IMO is at least another decade away from team so Nordiques fans better not hold their breath.
Drew Hart I don't think the NHL wants to keep an imbalanced 31 team system. I can bet within the next year or two we start to hear some serious talk about it. I think we will see a team there within the next 5 years
Dividing the league into West and East is stupid in itself as many "West" teams are clearly on the east side. Should focus on divisions instead not this stupid conference format. It's a bad system that doesn't deserve defending.
Dark Magician everything makes sense when it's set up as conference style sometimes there are very good teams that don't make the playoffs because of the other teams in the other division are shit I don't know about you but I like it way better when the top eight teams from there respective conferences make it if it was still like that the Montreal Canadians would be a bottom tear playoff team because half of the metro would be better than them
Not sure how it works in Canada. I was at one of the first Capitals games in Landover, MD. There was nothing there and they were on edge of collapse. Where the Capitol One Arena is was a total toilet, it is now a happening area producing revenue even when there are no events. Similar thing happened in Baltimore with the Orioles stadium. These aren't revenues that went to the owners.
Just found your page from Steve Dangle page that does the leafs. Agree 100% about stadium financing. Actually did my senior thesis on the topic. I will be a new subscriber and I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts.
Coyotes need to move to Phoenix or even Scottsdale. That stadium is out in the middle of nowhere, and the big money the hockey team needs is in the east Valley not the west Valley
Bryan G yep it's almost an hour drive from where I live in North Phoenix. That's the issue with the Canes and the Panthers too, they build a Arena in the Suburbs and expect people to drive out there. And there is no mass transit to get there, you are forced to drive. Arenas are Centralized locations they need to be placed in Urban area if they are going to be successful
CJ even when I lived downtown I hated going out that way unless it was a weekend game. It's such a stupid place for a stadium because for anyone on the East valley to get over there they either have to take the 10 through downtown (which that can take you an hour to drive 5 miles on a weekday) or take the 101 clear around. While yea that's a problem the other way too... The East valley has the money and downtown would be nice and neutral (and if they could use the Suns stadium you already have a really good stadium, albeit for the wrong sport)
Andrew hopefully that might be true but no stadium has been finalized the last I saw and I don't know where in Tempe you build it as the whole city is basically full. ASU might make sense and share it with the basketball team but they backed out of that (and it really would have been a huge college b-ball arena).
Thanks for being realistic, and I have 2 quick comments: 1. Barclays Center is nice, but you are correct about it not being hockey friendly. I paid $60 per seat for row 4 on the goal line, and my view of the other goal was there, but the faceoff circle on the opposite end was completely cut off. The Islanders were promoting their "partial plans" where some games are back at the coliseum and some at barclays for next year. 2. Houston should get a hockey team. If arizona can't get people in the seats, Houston will. 4th largest city in the USA, with many people relocated here for work from the northern us or Canada, along with support of locals should be able to fill the arena.
Pittsburgh is consistently among the largest tv audiences out of the american markets. Even during the lean years; they still pulled in good tv ratings. Pittsburgh is a good hockey market. It is pretty common to see numbers drop off when a team looks like it is about to abandon a city. Not really indicative of much, almost all teams go through lean years in any sport.
I am not a pens fan, just not a jealous hater. I don't like the Sabres either, but i'll give their fan base credit for good tv numbers as well. I also don't think hawks fans are bad fans because their fans were non-existent for a period of time.
Pittsburgh was 4th in attendance last year even though they are one of smaller markets in the league and were at the top in ratings last year. Why don't you start to pick a new target like Nashville who was 20th in attendance last year even with a Stanley Cup caliber team. The NHL needs the Penguins and Pittsburgh. That's facts.
Canes fan here - obviously we've been ugly attendance wise recently, but the downtrend only started in 2015. We were averaging 15k+ before the 2015-2016 season. It's easy to lose fans when you go on a playoff drought for nearly a decade. The Canes also have a BIG tv market with fox sports carolinas/south/southeast. They have N/S Carolina, parts of the Atlanta market, and I even saw them on tv in East TN this year, so they apparently share part of that territory with the Preds. Curious what their ratings are since they've been so unattractive to the casual viewer, but the potential is there, and they've been a solid ratings team in the past.
Dustin Boffo I live in Raleigh as well, season ticket holder for the Canes. While I'm not a Canes fan in particular, I still go to watch the other teams. The team has definitely seen better days, they used to almost sell out every game before their big drought. The market and interest is there, especially with how fast Raleigh is growing, it's just that when you have a bad product on the ice for a long time, no ones going to watch it. I'm confident the Canes will have better attendance this season since it looks like they may be playoff bound for the first time in a while.
I live in an area that gets both the Preds and Canes. I gravitated towards the Preds once Atlanta left so it's kinda annoying if both have a game the same night and it's the Canes that are on instead of the Preds.
If they move the Coyotes, it will be to the Central, not to Quebec. You are right about the imbalance and draw a good point on Detroit and Columbus. It would be a damn shame to move a team with a history of a dynasty such as the Islanders.
I would see that kind of possible scenarios Move Arizona Coyotes to Houston (bring back to old Aeros) or Kansas City. Move a team in danger, Ottawa Senators or Carolina Hurricanes or Florida Panthers to Quebec City in brand new Videotron Center. With an expansion in Seattle, both conferences balance again.
Don't think they'll move Carolina anytime soon. Raleigh is an emerging market and is on pace to become a top 10 market in the United States in the next ten years. If anything, I think they'll move them to Charlotte to try and draw in the South Carolina market like the NFL and NBA did. Carolina just needs a winning team again and attendance will be back in the middle of the pack.
They only drew 7900 fans to their latest game though. That is pretty brutal. I agree they won't move, but that kind of number won't silence fans pushing for it.
Agreed, but before the diabolical playoffless run they've been on these last 7 or 8 years I think they were somewhat in the middle of the pack. Fans around the country will make some noise about moving but I don't think it'll happen, especially given Raleigh and the Triangle's emergence. As Carolina makes some noise I think they'll establish a new core of fans and stay in the area for at least 10 more years.
As a resident of NE South Carolina the drive to Charlotte would be much more appealing than Raleigh. Also, the residents around Columbia would be more attracted too. Here in Myrtle Beach they’re trying to build a rink mainly for the Coastal Carolina club team but also so many northerners are moving to the Carolinas(me for example) I could see more fans attending in Charlotte
BRING A TEAM TO HOUSTON TX. Aeros when they were in houston had top attendance for minor league. The dough rocket owner is selling so new owners might be open to sharing Toyota center
Attendance is second in revenue. The number one revenue is broadcast fees. I'm curious if Quebec City can get a better broadcast deal than Ariz or Fl now have? We already know this Canadian city will likely have no problem withe attendance.
I totally agree with you about how ridiculous it is for owners to hold their team hostage for the tax payers to build them a new stadium, then keep all the profits. I’m also a big Miami Marlins baseball fan and their former owner, Jeff Loria, did this for Miami-Dade County and then pulled some shady stuff to not give money back to the county when it sold to the Jeter group. Billionaires can get away with anything they want.
Yet they don't get away with this method of funding in Europe. I don't know which is more important the greed of owners or politicians or the tradition of teams almost never moving and fans basically being incensed to an unimaginable degree from the North American perspective. It feels like the Canadian fans are similar to the Europeans in terms of hating the idea of paying tax for a stadium that makes money for billionaires who can pay for the venue themselves. It seems to me certain groups of American sports fans are happy to foot the bill for a greedy incompetent owner to avoid losing their team but further undermining their own positioning in 20 years time.
You mentioned Cincinnati had problems with arenas but I live there and we don't. US Bank arena hosts ECHL team Cincinnati cyclones as well as concerts and shows and lots of stuff and there's the reds and bengals stadiums and that's it. I don't see a big problem as only the reds dont draw too many fans
Horton and that's because they're awful, I don't see a team ever coming here, even with our upgraded stadium in the upcoming years due to the team in Columbus
FalloutKills101 1 yea Cincinnati will never get a hockey team. The only chance is if fc Cincinnati continues to prove that Cincinnati has a market for sports and even if that happens it's super unlikely
An honest question to ask is: would Wisconsin be a good home for a hockey team? Milwaukee Green Bay Madison Huge college following and a big ass amount of hockey nuts there.
I like the prospect of moving the Hurricanes to Houston, the Coyotes to Kansas City, the Panthers to become the new Quebec Nordiques; and possible expansion teams to Seattle; Milwaukee; Utah; Portland, Oregon; Cincinnati/Cleveland/Louisville; Indianapolis; Halifax/Moncton/PEI; London/Kitchener/Hamilton/Windsor; and/or Oklahoma City. A total of 32-36 teams.
Hey dad, I like this camera angle. Arizona and Florida need to move for sure. You should do a video on how new NHL arena's get built or just how you think the whole process should be instead.
I would be absolutely ecstatic if there was an NHL team in Milwaukee. I would buy a jersey immediately and try and grab seats for opening night. Yes we have an AHL team here but they play in the old Mecca which is horrible and they can't get people to really come because the NHL team is Nashville. I make the point of the team being in Nashville because Wisconsin doesn't get to see their games due to the Chicago Blackhawks holding tv rights in Wisconsin. If we in Wisconsin could actually see predators games regularly their wouldn't be such a want for an NHL team. Until Wisconsin gets a hockey team I'll stick to rooting for the red wings.
Damn straight Otto H. The Metropolitan NY region has proven it can handle 3 teams quite sufficently. The Devs and Rangers are seperated by 7 miles and have a fierce rivalry. The Devs and Flyers are also a strong rivalry. The Isles and Devs...meh.
Here are some western cities that deserve a team: Seattle Portland Milwaukee Kansas City Houston Salt Lake City? Eastern cities: Toronto/Hamilton Quebec City Hartford Baltimore?
I think KC, Seattle and Quebec are the most viable places for a team. I also think that anybody moving or expanding to those markets would need to PAY for an arena. Especially in Quebec and Seattle.
Gabriel Matte idk why but not many people know about the video torn centre in Quebec City it's NHL ready its only like 2 or 3 years old they have the arena
4:35 aaaand flashbacks of 2007 come to mind; when Jim Bausillie (the Co CEO of Blackberry at the time) tried to buy the team from Craig Leipold and move them to Hamilton; and Predators fans made a resounding "OH HELL NO" and the current owner consortium Predators Holdings LLC was formed by Nashville business owners wanting to keep the predators where they were. and last year's epic Cup run has pretty much cemented the fact that the Preds will NEVER EVER leave Smashville, and because we have the reputation of the best fans in the league.
Stupidity. Not thought out well. If any team folds it would be Arizona. Give Seattle a true expansion team. Move Ottowa to Quebec and Arizona to Portland, OR. And Chicago missing is sacrilege. One of the "original 6" should never be omitted or left off the board.
Pay attention right to the end. The board has nothing to do with relocation chances. It's set up for standing predictions, which he said he thinks he got wrong himself, and will address that in his next video, at the time that one was made.
Second video where I heard you mention "boring" when talking about the Islanders, like you don't want to bore your audience with Islander stuff. I just wanna tell you I'm not bored when you talk about the Islanders. Thanks.
I don't see Carolina moving anytime soon now. With how they have been since this video was put out has been extremely positive. Glad to hear that as a long term Canes fan.
XStrawBerryIceX and having hockey in Arizona does? The only reason it doesn’t make sense is because Seattle already has the thunderbirds(and Portland has the winter hawks for good measure)
A team has been dangled to Seattle for years and Seattle government does not want to bite. The AZ->SEA will not happen and it's time people give up that dream.
Actually Quebec does have a NHL arena, and trust me when I say it looks good. I don't know about ownership, but the arena is definitely there. It's called CentreVideo, ps I am loving these offseason vids, keep it up
None of the Original Six will move.
Ever.
And they shouldn't.
how do you prove a future?
Ed F booboo it was more like the original 6 stable, successful teams that helped shape the modern nhl.
Yeah if the Red Wings haven't moved at this point it's impossible
All that numbering system is the the division line up and has nothing to do with the probability of a team moving
This man just got into Canadian monetary policy to talk about hockey, we don't deserve him
I can't wait for the next expansion team to be in madagascar.
Graviteh LOL 😂
Madagascar right after Beiging and Shanghai.
Bettman likes the desert. How about a team in the Sahara?
How about a team in the Maldives as well?
Graviteh well move the the Pittsburg penguins to Madagascar and then they’ll be the penguins of Madagascar boom millions in revenue
How does this guy not have a spot on the NHL network? He KNOWS Hockey. Keep up the great work.
It is saturated enough, he is doing fine on youtube.
More like how doesnt the nhl network have a spot on this channel :D

And now Arizona in their college arena deal with Arizona State University in Tempe. That second one is a real farce why have a team play in a college arena for multiple seasons when Quebec has a ready made NHL facility and fans who aren't actively annoyed with ownership.
Arizona to Milwaukee, put them in the Central so when Seattle gets the expansion team, you have 8 in the central and 8 in the pacific
That's happening anyway.
Looks like you were right, Gary Bettman gave you the plan all those years ago.
You also hit an important point when people debate about Quebec and their 'team'
Quebec backed out in the Atlanta situation and they've been propping up people's hopes for nothing. They'll get a team, but it won't be for a long time. Seattle will get one first
Please Seattle make a new arena.
jed pad Seattle has an arena but I think it's too small for the NHL and their standards
I live near Seattle just outside of it and have been in the arena you're probably talking about. I'm guessing the Key arena. Its old crap and would need to be renovated for any sports team to play there. Which sucks..
jed pad there is a group that was just made led by Tim Leiweke to either renovate KeyArena or find a location to build a new one
Man the talk about about the Canadian Dollar doing well and potentially getting better did not age well
KC guy and I am not sure if NHL will work here.
I feel these cities should get an NHL team:
-Quebec City
-Seattle
-Halifax
-Saskatoon
-Milwaukee
-Kansas City
Do you agree with this?

Barclays is a great building for basketball and concerts though.
ShantyIrishman it sucks for hockey I've been there a few times for isles games. The travel is a pain and they need to come back to the island were they belong.
Well I'm four G train stops away, so travel isn't a problem for me. I think the Belmont arena is happening.
ShantyIrishman it sucks for hockey, half the seats have obstructive views
Shawn 91 Queens * look it up they are doing a huge development
+Shawn 91 Bhwawa, I doubt you could afford the rent in Prospect Heights, not remotely sketchy, no less crime than in Hempstead.
Crazy to think that the penguins were once ready to move just over a decade ago.
I remember that, the Penguins were on life support, and Mario came in and saved the day, with buying the team and drafted great, hence Syd the Kid, and plenty more and won some Stanley Cups including beating my Redwings in game 7 at the Joe!
Todd Hill I mean it was a no brained
The NHL fixed the Crosby lottery to sway the vote and keep the pens in Pittsburgh marketing wise its their version of the steelers
Really interesting to look at this years later. The East/West balance and reluctance to move anything to Canada still exist.
Yep
and the yotes are still unsettled
Really love your videos
I can't see anyone moving. Makes no sense. Everything would get screwed up IMO. I would like to see Seattle get a team if they would just build a damn stadium. Seattle native here.. I just really want a NHL team ugh.
jed pad One day
jed pad it would make more sense to bring in another expansion team in maybe 2-3 years but it would probably be a team more to the east
Lil Link probably not. The NHL wants a balance between the east and west. Putting an expansion team in Seattle would make it an even 16 teams in both conferences.
The NHL should focus on getting another team in the Central Division. There will most likely be a Houston, Kansas City, or Milwaukee team in the future.
jed pad you are i.n ecotopia cant build shit
Bradlee Carney Chicago owns TV rights in WI, they would have to give up revenue to get a team in WI and would lose too much. WI will never happen
Bradlee Carney KC had a team (Scouts) and it flopped
Yeah, 40 fucking years ago. Colorado flopped too and they got a second chance.
If they're going to push any team into central it should be Arizona
KC guy and there is almost zero hockey culture here among the general population. It is mostly a niche sport for those of us who grew up in other hockey markets and moved here.
Wisconsin needs a NHL team
Cullen King i agree because i moved to Wisconsin from Minnesota about a year ago and i had to pick between the blackhawks and the wild
Canada needs another 2-3 teams. Relocate Phoenix and Florida to Quebec and Hamilton and give the 32nd expansion to Halifax
no
Canadian Indy as a Hamilton resident I can see why you say move a team here.
Cking0 7 I agree 100%
How about Seattle? They're trying to build an arena to attract nba and nhl... I'd love to see the NHL in Seattle. I could finally go to Flyer games.
T. Rose That's gonna be an expansion team. NHL wants that sweet expansion money.
The NHL is coming to Seattle soon!
Good news

I find it hilarious and eerie that the funko pop he has on his shelf LITERALLY foreshadowed the Kraken being the next team in the NHL
Or, and hear me out, maybe its just a kraken? There is literally nothing that points to that even remotely foreshadowing anything
Quebec just won't get a team until Seattle does. The conferences will have to balance before that is even a possibility (like you said in the video). Seattle IMO is at least another decade away from team so Nordiques fans better not hold their breath.
Idk the NHL probably wants an even number of teams, I say they expand to Seattle in up to 5 years tops
Yup and get $550m in expansion fees. The more teams, the more the price goes up.
Arizona to Saskatoon
Not a terrible idea the proven success of Edmonton Rush moving to Sask was an instant hit. People in Saskatchewan would pay to watch paint dry.
welp
The East valley has the money and downtown would be nice and neutral (and if they could use the Suns stadium you already have a really good stadium, albeit for the wrong sport)
the coyotes are moving to tempe bruh
Andrew hopefully that might be true but no stadium has been finalized the last I saw and I don't know where in Tempe you build it as the whole city is basically full. ASU might make sense and share it with the basketball team but they backed out of that (and it really would have been a huge college b-ball arena).
yeah i go to asu and i hope they come around bc the wells fargo arena is a bit cramped lol
And now Tampa Bay sold more tickets than any other team in the 2021-22 season. They ain’t going anywhere
New camera is great
Thanks for being realistic, and I have 2 quick comments:
4th largest city in the USA, with many people relocated here for work from the northern us or Canada, along with support of locals should be able to fill the arena.
az moved
The Penguins fan attendance before Lemieux, Crosby and Malkin was 👎
iAJAXBEATZ Ha! Lemiux saved the team twice! Talk about fairweather fans
Pittsburgh is consistently among the largest tv audiences out of the american markets. Even during the lean years; they still pulled in good tv ratings. Pittsburgh is a good hockey market. It is pretty common to see numbers drop off when a team looks like it is about to abandon a city. Not really indicative of much, almost all teams go through lean years in any sport.
adam b
Keep trying man. Eventually you might find a legitimate excuse for the Pens fans to have 0 loyalty.
I miss when thg mismatched hats and jerseys!
Hockey Dan lol, why waste your money?
I live in an area that gets both the Preds and Canes. I gravitated towards the Preds once Atlanta left so it's kinda annoying if both have a game the same night and it's the Canes that are on instead of the Preds.
Who here after Coyotoes moved to Utah?

If they move the Coyotes, it will be to the Central, not to Quebec. You are right about the imbalance and draw a good point on Detroit and Columbus.

Came back on this video in light of the Arizona move.
I would see that kind of possible scenarios
Move Arizona Coyotes to Houston (bring back to old Aeros) or Kansas City.
Move a team in danger, Ottawa Senators or Carolina Hurricanes or Florida Panthers to Quebec City in brand new Videotron Center.
With an expansion in Seattle, both conferences balance again.
now carolina nor florida move
I agree. They should move them to Charlotte.
Hey Shannon, watching this in 2022, was wondering if you'd do a new version.
BRING A TEAM TO HOUSTON TX. Aeros when they were in houston had top attendance for minor league. The dough rocket owner is selling so new owners might be open to sharing Toyota center
And a history in the old W.H.A.. Winnipeg fans would love to greet a team from Houston as well as Quebec,
Tillman is selling the Rockets? Or is he the new owner?
Attendance is second in revenue. The number one revenue is broadcast fees. I'm curious if Quebec City can get a better broadcast deal than Ariz or Fl now have? We already know this Canadian city will likely have no problem withe attendance.
holy crap are we getting moved?
EDIT: I'm drinking warm grape juice, it tastes bad
Unfortunately with FCC I feel like the hype for it will die down and no one will go
Horton I think having US Bank arena and GABP next to each other isn't a good idea if Cincy wants an NHL team. Which they might not even get close to
That's the problem all your teams suck in Cincinnati
An honest question to ask is: would Wisconsin be a good home for a hockey team?
Milwaukee
Green Bay
Madison
Huge college following and a big ass amount of hockey nuts there.
I wish Atlanta still had a team.
Hockey just doesn’t work in Atlanta
They did twice 😐
I like the prospect of moving the Hurricanes to Houston, the Coyotes to Kansas City, the Panthers to become the new Quebec Nordiques; and possible expansion teams to Seattle; Milwaukee; Utah; Portland, Oregon; Cincinnati/Cleveland/Louisville; Indianapolis; Halifax/Moncton/PEI; London/Kitchener/Hamilton/Windsor; and/or Oklahoma City. A total of 32-36 teams.
Seattle is 16 for west that make it even
Hey dad, I like this camera angle. Arizona and Florida need to move for sure. You should do a video on how new NHL arena's get built or just how you think the whole process should be instead.
AZ moved florida won the cup
Depends on where you live.
Donny Difference I would go there to see them play the Blackhawks.
I think you should revisit this discussion Shannon, with Vegas and Seattle being in the picture now the argument with Quebec is very possible.
Why is New Jersey a question mark on the board?
Newark is not the place to put a hockey team. It's a black hole for hockey in a sanctuary city. They need a new location. Maybe move to Kansas City.
You just can't beat the nuanced, tolerant and sophisticated political commentary found in You Tube comments sections.
Arizona is done!
Dude the videotron center in quebec is ready since september 2015, only the home team nhl locker room isnt built because there is no team
New Jersey is one of the last teams to move, absolute nonsense
Damn straight Otto H. The Metropolitan NY region has proven it can handle 3 teams quite sufficently. The Devs and Rangers are seperated by 7 miles and have a fierce rivalry. The Devs and Flyers are also a strong rivalry. The Isles and Devs...meh.
Keith Gunn don’t forget about the flyers islander rivalry, maybe not for the teams but definitely for the fans

I would like to see a team in Kansas City. I would definitely support that.😀
I think KC, Seattle and Quebec are the most viable places for a team. I also think that anybody moving or expanding to those markets would need to PAY for an arena. Especially in Quebec and Seattle.
I'm a Canadian and I'm fine with it, if the Whalers can't come back then let's see the Scouts come back LMAO what is up with this timeline
Gabriel Matte KC already has an NHL ready arena, they've just lacked any ownership interest as of right now.
Gabriel Matte idk why but not many people know about the video torn centre in Quebec City it's NHL ready its only like 2 or 3 years old they have the arena
It would be nice to see a team there. It would also balance out the divisions
Why do Chicago and New Jersey not have magnets?
TheBoy Brendan because there is no way in hell those teams are moving.
