It doesn't work like that anymore un less you were on the monetization before and got grandfathered in and even then if they change the policy than you don't get paid per view I just apply for monetization and read all the stuff and took the course in order to make $3000 you have to get 50k views with in a month the video has to have ads on it otherwise you don't get paid anything! Don't let these you tubers lie 2 you they just do that so youll watch their video and they can make money while they put all the ads on the video giving you false expectations or false information !

Beauty Channel right here ❤️ I do makeup hair nails waxing etc but even though Makeup ranks #1 it’s one of the most saturated I feel like! Super hard to grow and get started (for me anyway) so that’s why I opened up my channel to more beauty related content and it finally started gaining more subscribers and views. I finally started getting consistent paychecks this year after three years on RUclips. The amount is nowhere near what you’re talking about lol I got pretty frustrated at first I will admit after all the time and money it takes to make these videos, but I had to take a step back and realize that I just enjoy making content and if I make a little change on the side that’s a bonus ❤️

I am wondering, so if I have a video of 10 mins for example and I have 3 ads on it. Would that not be the same as having 3 videos of 3 minutes something each and one ad on each of them, so basically on the 10 minutes I am still getting paid as I would do on a 1 10 minute video? I believe 3 videos with 1 ad on them would get paid more than 1 video with 3 ads on it. It's my understanding that RUclips pays less for the additional ads added in single videos.
