I normally don’t correct people on their sewing, however the sewing should always be a straight stitch at 1/4 inch seam. At 2 or 2.5 stitch length. Then press to the dark. That will create the strongest seams that match when pieced. I’ve been teaching quilting for 10 years and quilting for nearly 20 years. The patchwork is very pretty. But for future work, remember a straight stitch at 1/4 inch seam allowance is your basic rule.
