Ok im sorry i gotta rectify this at the end, 🤓☝️ Jeff is clearly not friend with David since i think more than a year ago, Jeff started his lawsuit against him but just couldnt talk about it at all until recently. But expect for that itsy bitsy part lol the video was amazing, you really went deep and still got mainly the important and interesting parts cause this video could have lasted hours haha. And finally im really loving all these nice uploads as a gift 🙃

As someone who was chronically online during this period, because of the pandemic, I can say that there were a few things that were missed out or not in the right order but I do appreciate the effort. Most crucial is that Jeff and David are now involved in a legal battle because of the stunt so I'd venture a guess that they're now far from being friends. Watch Jeffs reaction to the podcast with Jason Natalie and David for more context.

Good deep dive. Couple of corrections: the Jeff crane incident happened in summer 2020 but it hadn’t been fully revealed before David made those apologies in spring 2021. Jeff and David had a falling out and are no longer friends because David wasn’t paying for Jeff’s surgeries and wasn’t being a friend and checking up on Jeff after surgeries like any normal human would. Jeff is now suing David

One correction: Jeff is NOT friends with David after literarally almost killed him. Hes suing him for all the medical expenses and how he refused to pay his medical bills after causing his injuries, saying he would pay for the costs, then ghosting

I also remember being a sophomore in highschool, hearing about David for the first time. A few of my friends showed me some videos and I couldn’t help but think it felt fake. I said that and they hit me with the “nah, you just don’t get it” as well.

I was pretty much the same. I saw the pranks this guy pulled and it was beyond fake - it was just mean. I remember the big thing with the one guy who was forced to kiss some middle aged man for a video, and so many people just kinda shoved it under the rug as if it meant nothing to them that he did not consent to that and was never ok with that kind of thing. The whole "oh it's just David doing his thing" was crazy like HUH let's just allow people to sexually assault each other (yes this is sexual assault) for content because haha funny...

I used to watch him in high school but after a while it was less fun and felt more like watching them delve deeper into their own insanity. Nicole Rafiee makes amazing videos that went into the drama that happened after I stopped watching and wow… this and that make me glad I stopped watching when I did
Same here I lost interest going into August of 2018.
Important fact to mention is that Jeff is no longer friends with just about everyone in the vlog squad. Essentially the story is that after Jeff exposed David, David told them all to cut contact with them. Additionally David told Jeff that he would pay for all his medical bills and stuff that involved his eye treatment. After Jeff thinking that David had been paying his medical bills he would find out that he hadn't and it completely destroyed Jeff's credit and left him in a ton of debt. They are currently in a legal battle, but from watching Jeff's most recent video it appears that Jeff might have won the case and David could possibly be getting deported due to it. (Idk about the deported part, could have been a joke by Jeff but there is a chance.)

I'm SO excited for the SP7 deep dive. I discovered Steven just as Source Fed was ending, I saw SP7 from the beginning. I knew it was special, but Akrasia really sold it for me. I don't think anything like SP7 will happen again
A 40 minute Stanz video is the greatest thing I've ever been graced with.
This was my first video of yours i have ever seen. And definitely earned a sub. I’ll def watch more. Stanz voice sounds so similar to taylor lewan from bussin with the boys it’s wild
This divemas is gonna be something soecial for me. I loved david dobrik vlogs around may of 2018 right after i had graduated high school. I would literally fall asleep watching a playlist of all the voogs. Then one day poof all my interest left for the vlogs and when I did take note of david dobrik again he was getting cancelled for and 2020 was just beginning to happen. Needless to say i think the strongest part of his vlog is the parasocial and almost together your my freind kinda part of the vlog it really oulled me in at the time.
What impresses me more is not Stanz's lack of internet knowledge (which I envy somewhat), but HOW does Chaanths know and remember all of this. Sure, he makes his research. but come on. There should be a limit to internet drama knowledge. (Love caanths, love the videos)

There is a lot of shit in general, but there was a big story about him purchasing alchohol for minors and being complicit in enabling one of his friends to sexually assault multiple girls.
he also was an awful 'friend', jeff is lucky to survive and it was David being an absolute idiot and taking things too far ALWAYS that made it so that Jeff has had DOZENS of surgeries and is lucky that he survived. When Jeff was making his documentary about it, David and Natalie (his assistant and girlfriend) came over and were trying to demand that he cut things out because it made David look bad etc.
The lawsuit is ongoing so we don't know all of it, but David is a bad person. He facilitated a lot of the harassment for Gabbie Hanna and she had a full on mental breakdown and still is struggling from it. He would constantly be awful to Trisha Paytas and when she attempted to take her life, he was trying to vlog her in the ER on a psych hold, and there are so many other people who were once in David's 'orbit' who have countless stories of him taking everything too far. He also would make his friends work for him for exposure meanwhile his content would get millions of dollars. Giving away a car is bad because that doesn't factor in if someone can afford the taxes, the insurance cost, car insurance, etc and he was just using that as a tax write off and a lot of the people who got them as 'gifts' ended up losing them because it'san incredibly irresponsible thing to do.
He's just a dumb kid (when he popped off at least, now he's a grown adult) who took all the clout to the head and manipulated and used people constantly. He was never genuine in his 'philanthropy', it was all for clout but he also didn't even make attempts to pay the workers he was exploiting. He made a bunch of them get fully sky diving certified for a 30 second MAX 'bit' in a vlog in the same vlog where Jeff almost died. His videos were a max of 4 min and 20 seconds, and he paid for the skydiving but he made them all spend like 7 straight days jumping over 10 times a day to get certified, despite multiple of the group members being terrified and not wanting to do it but if they didn't do it, they'd be kicked from the group and unable to pay bills because linking them in the vlogs was the only semi-related money they could get, and he wouldn't even jump a SINGLE time.@@carnuatus
He should have just hired a guy with a modicum of sense to stand by and say no to some things

Used to make some good videos, but i always got a weird vibe off him. Doesnt care about other people that much, but keeps donating and helping out people to seem nice(atleast what it felt like).
He always laughed when people got hurt and even when he did the hurting himself. He definitely prioritized his content over everything else.

Another correction is that the scene of the guys poking their heads into the bedroom while the SA was taking place, didn’t actually happen that way, they went the next day and no one was in there. It was staged. I don’t recall if Keff stayed around that day or left when Jason and Trisha did. Also Jeff has vehemently denied buying the alcohol from what I remember. Yes someone at Dirty Dom’s place bought the alcohol or it was already there and the underaged girls were given alcohol in that apartment and she was unable to consent because she was very intoxicated. Honestly I think anyone who stayed that day, and especially David should be charged as an accessory to SA.

Cause then this video (from Stanz) would have had a higher catharsis "oh looks like he's a funny guy" to "oh that's not good" and eventually "man that's fucked up if you really think about it" etc.

Not to say this is a defence for his actions but I am 80% sure this guy has aspergers. One of the big affects of aspergers is not understanding social cues, this includes not understanding social dynamics, and not understanding the social cues people give off when something is going to far.
