I love the cakes. The air bubbles actual make it look more realistic to me because the cakes I bake usually have a few air holes. I actually like the drizzle icing better than the thick one, but the powdered sugar is my fav too. I have some nail art charms in different types of fruit that would work great for these or other dessert crafts. ❤🍰

My youngest daughter's school had a fundraiser with Nothing Bundt. Their cakes are really good n moist. I hadn't had a dry one yet and this is a really cute idea making Bundt cakes for dolls.
HA-HA! Just in time for this one! I was just viewing your flashbacks of other hot glue goodies this morning! The broccoli, cranberry sauce and chicken! I needed a quck project for the up coming scenes and I didn't have enough Ploymer Clay! You are awesome!

You can do school/community bake sale too!! Actually IRL these would be cool to sell at a community craft fair. Or make a few as magnets for the baker in your life.
You did a fantastic job with these cakes! I should know, lol. I did cakes for the public for about 10 years. With a pound cake or bundt cake, you're always going to have some bubbles. Your painting skills amaze me. So realistic! I'm an old grandma now, 66 in 1 week. I'm trying to create a realistic doll house with furniture for my 2 lil granddaughters. I love your videos and look forward to them each week.
When I saw your video I thought : Hee that was my idea LOL. I bought a mini cake maker last month; you can make 3 cakes at once(it was on sale for 5 Euro)and have been making mini bund-cakes from paper-clay since then. I paint them with acrylic paint and use talk-powder glued on for sugar powder and fill them with raspberries formed beads etc. and nail polish. It is so much fun :) I love it that you made a cake-form from the silicone-Mold :)
This cake craft is amazing and I can’t wait to try it ❤❤❤ And you use of the extra silicone mold was brilliant 🤯🤯🤯 Gives further proof that you are the Queen of Crafting 👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽 Thanks for being so awesome Toya😊😊😊
I really love your Bundt cakes, especially your Nothing Bundt Cakes ones! Wait, I just realized that it has been long since you last made them. How long time flies! So impressive every time.
For the hot glue cakes I could see either using water color to tint or colored hot glue sticks and making jello inspired cakes. It might make some of the air bubbles makes since? Maybe even add small pieces of craft foam or something to add fruit to the jello hot glue cakes?
Dear Froggy--First, Thank you for sharing your Miniverse. It's made my retirement years so much richer and a lot more fun. I do miss the ones you did for 18-inch dolls, but i understand that Barbie-sized has so many more options in crafting and far more storage options. Most of them can be translated to 18 inch dolls, but tracking down accessories is a real challenge unless you opt for OG or My Life goodies. There is no denying your talent. The only surprise is that Mattel or some other toy manufacturing company hasn't hired you on to design for them. Imagine the DIY kits you could design for young fledgling crafters!
Those mini bundt cakes are too cute! They look so real! It's incredible what can be made with hot glue. I need to try that! And wow, that spatula! So simple yet it blows me away! Epic!
You are so creative and artistically talented! Also, loved that the window showed a snowy scene, and inside she was toasty warm, making cakes in her kitchen. Such a mood!
These are so adorable 🥰. And the holes in the hot glue cakes are authentic to actual cakes as well. I wanna try. I LOVE watching baking channels, fake bakes. And these minis are the best. We just had a grand opening for Nothing Bundt Cakes a few weeks ago. Haven't been yet, but their cakes are so pretty and I've heard good reviews
Queen of crafting! So genius! As always, thank you so much for all that you do and what you give to us. It’s very much appreciated. Love this video and cannot wait to make these, as I already have air dry clay and that exact mold.
looking at 4:55 its actually more natural that there are air bubbles. nobodys bundt cakes turn out perfect! sometimes a bit of it sticks to the pan, or the batter gets its own air bubbles... i say the air bubbles add realism!
Absolutely adorable! I can't wait to make these! Thank you for sharing your creativity and methods. You inspire me to think out the box when i make my crafts. ❤ This project is perfect for me.
Seriously loving how you make doll food! I’m now going on a hunt shopping day to see if we can get a mold cheaper, since it’s happening on Black Friday. Also might be looking into the molding clay. That one seemed to be more realistic when cutting. However I loved both. I like the modge podge dripping icing best for my taste. The Nothing Bunt Cakes type frosting looked amazing! And you blew my mind again with the hot glue, turning them into lemon slices. I can’t keep up with all the projects I want to make for the dolls and my daughter. I blame you, MGA Miniverse Make It Minis, and the miniature groups I got into because of you. For making me want to make holiday foods for the dolls. I am loving all the inspiration, thank you so much for the help! ❤
The molds made me think of jello fruit salad. Get some kind of clear silicone, add some color and maybe nail art fruit slices would be perfect for spring or summer. For a winter one, you could paint the top in a pastel to maybe look like it's got cream on/in it. :D
The cakes look good! Out of curiosity, has the paint-mod podge mixtures on your older pieces held their color well over time? I’m probably going to try the mixture on some minis I’m making (my work space does not have enough ventilation for resin), and I know some types of pigments fade when used as tints.
Scraping a tiny bit of truck pastels on the top of your miniatures using an exacto knife or even just the sharp pair of scissors is ideal for the powdered sugar look! If you glaze them with mod podge before you sprinkle on the truck pastel it looks phenomenal and won't budge
Great video! I live in Canada and we don't have a Hobby Lobby so I had to order my molds from Amazon but they have them if anyone wants to know! Can't wait to try the bundt cakes out!
What's really cool about air bubbles in hot glue is that if they're small enough, they could look like an air pocket that happened to be baked into it on accident.
Wow!!! These are really really great!! I’m hoping that my Michael’s has that mold, I don’t have a Hobby Lobby. Thank you so very much for sharing all of your brilliant ideas!!❤😍❤
TOYA: Tip for you. If you have air dry clay in a deep mould like the cakes, put it in the freezer. It will become hard and you can then pop it out of the mould. Then let it dry.
The Model Magic cakes are my favorites for Bundt cake the unused glue sticks for citrus slices are clever (in addition to lemon slices you could also do orange slices & lime slices the same way, you just need orange & light green & darker green paint, which brand of paint would you suggest?). I especially love how the Model Magic Bundt cakes look cut into slices, they look great as is inside. I think you could do cuter Jello / gelatin molded desserts with the glue sticks, colored lightly plus then you could use extra berries & fruit bits from the Make It Mini kits to either suspend in the glue or to decorate the finished molds. And by the way that Glitter Girls Vlog baking set with the tiny kitchen comes with a Bundt cake AND a Bundt cake pan so you might want to use it for displaying as the dolls 'bake' up a storm.
Hi 👋 I hope you are doing well ☺️ and that everything is going well for you and that you're having a happy weekend and a happy Saturday 😊. Also please remember to take care of yourself 🙏. Also happy early holidays 😊. Also you are amazing 🤩 so keep being you cuz you're awesome 😎🙏. Also the diy you made is amazing 🤩.
Just watching this again as I want to make these I am waiting for my mould to arrive! I had a thought that maybe the hot glue cakes would be easier to cut if you heated the knife a bit? Maybe by soaking in hot water for a few minutes? I dunno it could make a mess if it melts the glue but I will probably try it when I make my own!
Love all your mini cakes! Pop your Model Magic or air dry foam clay molds into the freezer for 30 minutes or overnight. Then pop them out and let them get to room temperature as condensation will happen. Then you are good to go! ;)
You should try and use a heat gun to the drying hot glue to see if it helps with the bubbles since heat rises. It works when I use resin to get rid of air bubbles!
It was a pleasure watching your video can i ask you a question can you make vegetables and fruits like strawberry and tomatoes please I am a little girl I just sent this message. 😊
Totally loved this video. I wonder if I can find a larger mold to make cakes for my American Girl dolls. And the song at the end has become my new favorite Christmas song
My local Hobby Lobby also had molds next to the ones shown here that were larger and probably a decent size for 18 inch dolls. They were 6 cakes to a sheet instead of the 15 to a sheet the smaller one has, but you still get 2 of each style of cake to work with at a time.
Hi! It’s me Charlotte! I had so much fun meeting you and making my own bunt cake. They look so good!
Hi 👋🏾 Charlotte!!! 😃🤩 it was a blast hanging out with you!!! You are a FABULOUS CRAFTER ❤
My brain exploded when you made the miniature spatula & cut the mold to make it look like the doll was making her own cake. Absolutely genius!
Omg same!
I completely agree! I liked the modge podge drip icing better too
Mine have air holes too!!😂
The drip icing was my favourite and I have the nail charms too I think I might experiment with different fruits - chocolate orange?
They look phenomenal!! 🥰
Not going to lie, did love the one that looked overbaked-it's just the perfect touch of realism!!
Thanks so much! 😊

The spatula was such an amazing idea! You're so creative, Toya.
I actually gasped when she made the spatula it was so unexpected and SO cool!!
My youngest daughter's school had a fundraiser with Nothing Bundt. Their cakes are really good n moist. I hadn't had a dry one yet and this is a really cute idea making Bundt cakes for dolls.
These would make great jello molds too.
I like the model magic ones the best. Although they take longer to dry, they are easier to cut. Thanks for the tutorial!
All the amazing baked foods you've made (and purchased) over the years could stock an incredible bakery! These look fantastic!

The bubbles really do make it look more realistic once painted over because cake has little holes in the texture like that.
Toya!!!! You should try different ways to melt hot glue sticks, like maybe those wax seal melt things! OOOH or even the scented wax melter!
Absolutely adorable!! Great job! I'll definitely have to try this, but first I'll be stopping at "Nothing Bundt Cakes" for a quick sugar fix!
