    Game Review & Impressions
    ---------------------------------------------------
Although familiar with Rolling Thunder, I hadn't really appreciated just how refined the gameplay of Namco's platformer really is. Sure, it's difficult as heck, but the general flow of the game -- shooting bad guys with split-second timing before ducking into cover behind a convenient door -- is actually really satisfying. Use of the upper and lower play areas is key to avoiding the neon-coloured goons which besiege you on all sides, so quick reactions are the order of the day.

Looking at this video now, I just realized how close I was to actually clearing story 1. Story 2 appears to be a replay with some extra details and much improved enemies. But, considering how bad I was at playing almost every other arcade game in the 1980:s (Ghosts and goblins for example), I think I did pretty good with this one.
    Good times! Thanks for sharing!

First videogame I can remember playing. My parents were broke as a joke when they got out of the Navy (mainly due to my unexpected arrival; my Mother's DD214 was dated 6 months before my birth 😂) and couldn't afford a washer/dryer set. Because of this I ended up propped on a stool in front of various arcade cabinets in laundromats as a little one. This happens to be the one I remember. Good times.
