The plot to take down the Geldra organization continued in this incredible sequel. When it got ported to the Genesis, it even got more stages to it, but lost some arcade music oddly enough. This time Leila doesn't need saving, you can actually use her to kick Geldra ass! Of course our boy Albatross returns as well in the second player role!
The graphics are more detailed but somehow the animations don't look at nice as the original and the enemies and bullets don't have the same iconic feel to them. Still looks great though.
In level 2 when that guy with the electric shield shows up you should walk right up to the statue from the left and fire one bullet at him. That will blow him up and stop that annoying cracking sound that happens for the rest of the level so you can hear the BGM nice and clear for the rest of the level 👍
The lack of boss fights was always the one thing that bugged me about Rolling Thunder games. You just kind of wander to the end of a level to the next.

Stages 3 & 4 are fantastic. I especially like how the the main theme from RT1 is remixed in Stage 4.

It's a bit derivative, like a lot of Japanese VGM during that period. Definitely vibes of Casiopea, YMO and some T-Square all over this.

ネクタイ姿のアルバトロスが2pでサポート役に回ってるのがレディファーストって感じ。

sega mega drive version is even better than arcade version ，3 extra stages were added plus boss fight and second phase final boss👍

It's a serviceable port, but it looks and sounds like *ss.
