    I forgot how fun it was to work out while learning from you n then implementing the idea into my everyday life. I may not have sleds or time for a gym but I find myself turning the physical conditions of my jobs as a workout n I gotta say without you I’d be pulling more muscles and blowing out vessels. I came back after months and it’s still the same idea only I can say it really works to keep that longevity. I’m not that flexible but I can still single leg squat and have less back pain from when I was 18 (23 now) Patrick is the forever coach 💯

    Thx so much Man. Another 1 in the Books. Do more Shoulder + ATG stuff - I was watching this during my exercises. I have a injury on my left shoulder connection with neck and I feel numbness in the arm and pinching in the shoulder (but now less -kinda). That was via playing BBALL (already 3 months ago got hit on a screen). This happened also way back from time to time but never this painful now - Ive been through therapy and now have to do Exercises: 3x per day for 3 weeks - Easy ones laying on the floor with a lot Breathing techniques and also some with the stick for shoulder rotation , and a a Pilates ball ect. I hope you can bring more Vids. Its so frustrating for me because this year there is no Basketball for me or any sport since every sudden move or bump or contact - Produces PAIN. So it will probably take to the end of the year (I hope I can go Snowboard at least) - You Helped me a lot with my knees and Back - Many times I went back to level zero due to some injuries like Hernia, lower back, ect But this is really my worst experience - This nerve is really a Pain in the a...
    But Thank you for all the content Bro . Its always a pleasure to listen/watch and doing exercises the same time.

    With the ATG split squat, if you are getting sharp knee pain on back leg then take some load off of it by transfering more weight to front leg. I learned the hard way but it helps a lot.

    I’m so happy you guys did a collab, I’ve been using info for both of your channels to help rehab my shoulders and this video has so much useful information for that. One thing I was wondering, for exercises like the rows shown, are you expected to be able to do the form well first or is the point of the exercise to have your body learn proper form? I cant retract my shoulder blades perfectly and I’m a little worried that if I do the rows wrong I’ll never learn to do it right, but if the point is to learn correct form over time then i should be okay starting off doing them wrong, right?

    • @SaturnoMovement
      @SaturnoMovement 16 дней назад +1

      “Wrong” or “right” are subjective terms, and it’s also a spectrum. Will I make you do rows with rounded spine, rings far from touching the chest, and other heavy compensations? Nope. But not being able to fully retract, and struggling to keep shoulders fully down it’s something that can be improved overtime. In short: find an inclination that allows you to do the movement the best YOU CAN, then improve overtime. Some attributes of a movement can only be improved with practice. Make sure to not have pain and feel comfortable in the movement. Focus on improving technique week to week before increasing intensity and you will be golden ✊ -Gabo

      @@SaturnoMovementnice, thanks Gabo for the detailed reply. I can’t do it well even with the easiest variation, but now I know just working on it over times the right thing to do for it to improve.

    • @TheKneesovertoesguy
      @TheKneesovertoesguy  15 дней назад

      Definitely agree with Gabo here! Some movements require consistent practice to get better at, and the main goal here is mitigating the risk of injury, pain, and discomfort. Fortunately all these movements scale. Find the level that feels most comfortable for you and try your best to keep strict form. If you’re trying your best, progressing, and feeling better, that’s the way to go🫡🙏

    Hey Ben, I'm a big fan of yours. I was wondering how you would alter a program designed from a sport like basketball that is a lot of jumping to an athlete that plays soccer. Soccer being a sport heavily reliant on sprint speed, agility, kicking, and still has components of jumping. Would you still recommend the ATG basics, what additions would you make? Thank you and love your stuff!!

    • @TheKneesovertoesguy
      @TheKneesovertoesguy  16 дней назад +1

      That’s a great question! Fortunately on the ATG app we have programs designed for jumping, running, soccer, and basketball! Would checkout the Sports section on our app and can see the routines we have! Basics can be a great program, but would checkout these options as well🫡

      Great question! Think push-up, where your body is moving, vs bench press, where the bar is moving. In my opinion, this level of naming things isn’t necessary for great results. However, that’s what he was referring to and I don’t think it hurts to know how to further define things. My overall viewpoint on exercise is that it can be quite simple, and just about anyone can learn how to produce fantastic results. Hope that makes sense! 🙏

      My wife is the boss. My job is the videos. She runs the biz. She loves joining me for workouts. I love joining her on the biz stuff. We each lead in our own ways. We built a playzone into our gym so we can be with our kids more rather than dropping them off in a daycare. She’s a SuperMom and I’m a SuperDad. And I assure you she is doing exactly what she wants to do. And at ages 1 and 3, no matter how hard I try, they want mama. But she still likes to join me rather than not join me at all. Sometimes they let her play but I’d rather show our real life than stage a Hollywood production. I am fully respecting exactly what she wants, I promise you that on my life. 🤝❤️
