  • Kawasaki rises above with the all new ZX6R. Riding, features, specs, and what's brand new and changed for this legendary middleweight super sport bike. We cover the changes in fairings, the led headlights, what's different with the engine and performance, brakes, suspension, exhaust, the new tft display and all the settings and rider modes it has, the kqs Kawasaki quick shifter and how to turn that on and off, and much more! This bike produces 127 hp and 51 ft. lbs of torque and I explain what modifications will add even more horsepower to it, and how much. From slip on exhausts, full systems, high flow air filter, velocity stacks, tunes, and flashes, I give you an idea of where each of those will put you for power gain. This is truly one of the best 600cc inline 4 cylinder motorcycles the world has ever seen. Leaving the cbr600rr, gsxr600, r6 and r7 in the dust. It's the best value for the price, one of the most eye catching bikes out there, extremely reliable, and fast enough to keep anyone looking for a thrill and a quick 0-60 time entertained. Comment with any questions, enjoy!
    Exhausts on model years 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 use the same slip-on and mid link pipes

    As others have already mentioned, this is the most detailed video on the 2024 ZX6R bar none.
    We just picked up this bike up last week, we ended up getting the pearl white with solver, it was not our first choice, but they only had two left and they were $2k off and the sale was going to end before their next shipment.
    Decided to do three mods right off the bat.
    Tail tidy($40 Amazon)
    SC exhaust into the resonator, it's loud but not stupidly loud, it really doesn't need anymore than that.
    Also replaced the servo with a servo buddy.
    Removed the clear windscreen with a smoked one.
    Overall a fantastic addition to our collection.

    Best bike review/breakdown video I've ever seen. Been riding for 3 years now with the purchase of 1 bike so far. The kawasaki klx 300sm. Im ready to move up to the big boys now. Was looking at the ducati hypermotard 950sp but that price tag is a bit hefty. I like the feel of supermotos/hypermotards and I've never driven one of these sports bikes. Partly because im scared that the handling for regular commuting might be to stiff for me. But you sold me on this video lol

    I am getting mine tomorrow, waiting for mine to be moved from a warehouse to the dealership. Trading in my zx4RR for it...plus some cash of course. I wish I got this bike to begin a couple months ago. I was told by my tattoo artist the 4RR was "like a 600 or better". Turns out he was comparing it to the ninja 650 (which is not a inline 4). I never made such a compulsive decision ever before that day. Lesson learned. He does great work however!

I ordered an SC Project SC1-R to tone it down a bit and make it sound smooth again like it should. Other than that, best bike! So happy with it. Dude I love your videos and I love the you refer to yourself in plurals lol!
    Question: what do you think about the 2024 Honda CBR600RRs? Same price as the ZX6r but it has a 6 axis IMU up and down quick shifter the tech quite frankly blows the 6xr out of the water... What're your thoughts?

    • @lovelivegofast
      @lovelivegofast  10 месяцев назад

      It just depends if that stuff is important to you or not. If you like rider aids and the color red, then that's the best bike for you. I have a non-abs bike because I've been riding my whole life without it. I never have my quick shifter turned on other than in these RUclips tutorials. I always have traction control completely off and power set at full. If you want less to do and worry about, than you will want all the electronic goodies, but it's hard to become a better rider if you rely on all that stuff or think you need it. If you become a seasoned rider without all that stuff, you won't ever use it because you will want to be in control of the bike, not the computer. I got used to riding liter bikes 15 years ago, I'm almost 33 years old, and there was no abs, power modes, traction control, quick shifter, nothing. And you were forced to learn how to become a very good rider, or you died. It was 180hp, unforgiving, brutal, and raw, and those bikes made greats riders out of people. Moral of the story, Honda and Kawasaki make excellent machines, the kind of rider you are or want to be will determine what you look for or want in a bike. And that answer is different for everyone. Haha long rant that probably didn't answer your question at all

      You're exactly right. The SV's are great bikes, nice torque and I love the sound of a v twin. If you got a sv650 you'd be fine with a zx6r. About the same power until you wind it up in the high rpm's

    • @lovelivegofast
      @lovelivegofast  10 месяцев назад +2

      Well considering I look at the panigale v2's online every other day and debate getting one, that's tough. There is zero question that the zx6r is the more reliable bike, less maintenance, more aftermarket parts, just a more user friendly bike all around. But the panigale is going to be more powerful, the vtwin sound is totally different, and you will catch a lot more eyes with that Ducati. My heart tells me "get a Ducati!" And my brain says "run away from that unreliable money pit!" If I could only have one bike, it would be the Ninja, just because I know it's never going to let me down, and it is still a riot to rip around on

      Yes. I previously owned a 2009 yamaha r6. I had it for about 3 or 4 years, then got married, had kids, and then sold it. I had a lot of good/fun rides on it, it was also a very exciting bike to ride. I've been considering the 1000cc to try something different. We all have different opinions as people, but it seems that there are some who I've heard say "liter bikes are not practical for street use and honestly almost unridable", not to mention I live in California. I can't speak to that because I've never road one. I watched videos on your channel, and you have had both. Which one is your favorite? and which one would you recommend? Thank you for your time and any feedback it's greatly appreciated!

    • @lovelivegofast

      @israellarranaga8392 the liter bikes aren't practical, but it's something everyone should experience. Just raw brutal power and the most speed you've ever felt. Get the liter bike next, I'd go for the zx10r over the Gixxer though

      @@israellarranaga8392 I just traded in my Gixxer 750 for the ZX-6R and I'm having a blast on it. I never got on with the Gixxer and it never felt right, the Kawasaki is just more fun to ride and open up it feels lighter even though it's not. Plus I was happy to have ABS. I've never had a 1000 but I had a 636 for years when I was younger and it's just a blast, the Gixxer doesn't compare even though it's got that raw power.

I always wonder why most riders spend useless money tossing a perfectly good exhaust specifically designed for the bike.Most will never realize more than about 20-30 max of the bikes potential while lacking basic riding and survival skills such as proper braking technique and counter steering. any gains are gotten at the upper rpm ranges anyway and not practical.
