Davis, Kemp, Tyler White, Marisnick, Aoki, Fisher, Hernandez, Maybin, Moran, Centeno and McCann. The biggest cheaters, and masterminds behind the cheating, were Beltran (a Yankee) and Cora (now Red Sox manager) and they tucked tail and ran before the scandal ever broke. As a long time Mariners fan, this is what we live for! It’s an abusive relationship. Us longtime fans put a frozen burrito in the microwave and then we have anxiety attacks thinking that the microwave is going to blow up 5 city blocks.

Look up Alvarez vs Ray and vs Sewald. It makes Rich’s point even more clear. 1 for 3 vs Ray with 2 walks. He sees him very well.

I honestly didn't hate the Ray move, just thought the execution was bad. Should have just thrown him sliders the whole way through. Maybe a show-me heater way up or off to keep him honest, but throwing him that ball in that spot is just a critical mistake.

Bobby Ray has been getting rocked lately. He gives up home runs. The Astros have particularly dominated against him and Alvarez is hitting 321 versus left-handed hitters this year and has excellent career splits versus lefties while being one of the most feared hitters in the entire league. Just walk him

I'm watching with my mom and as my witness I said walk that man in the 3rd. Maybe they don't score 2. And I said walk him in the 9th. I saw that homerun coming before Alvarez before he stepped in the box and wasn't walking to first. You don't pitch to that guy, he's a beast!
Numbers Alvarez. .320 v lefties .300 v righties. Bregman .225v lefties .275 v righties. I don't care load the bases put the tying run at 2nd and you make the 2nd/3rd best hitter beat you not their best bat. At worse you lose by 2 instead of 1. If he doubles alvarez doesn't score from 1st and you go after tucker and go to extras if you don't get bregman out. So frustrating. I hope the bullpen doesn't lose confidence since servais lost confidence in them and brought in a starter. He's not a top tier elite pitcher like degrom, Verlander, or kershaw, etc.

Get rid of Scott servais. He was good in the interim, getting us to that point. But we have young players coming up and this should be a contending team. Like, everyone wants to say Alvarez is just that good, but ray also got shelled by Toronto AND you have an open base to walk Alvarez with a run to spare and all you need is an out. Makes no sense.
