@@caryrosenthal9916 So we should not be able to hear the lyrics that Sammy wrote because EVH passed away? Really? Is that what you were going for? Sammy had a career before VH and after, and we were able to hear those songs too. "Your love is driving me crazy," "Can't drive 55" "Heavy Metal" etc... After Dave, VH needed someone who could write lyrics and Sammy filled that bill, and they went on to sell another 42 million albums. After Sammy left, Gary Cherone was not able to replicate the success even with one of the greatest guitarists in the world. Sammy does not have to tour, but he does it for the fans.
@gibblespascack1418 I know the story bro. Been a VH fan for 50 yrs. Seen them over a dozen times over 40 yeara with all 3 singers. I think the tour sucks. That's all. You wanna lay down your money and sing the songs?? Go for it. I can hear the same lyrics Sammy wrote on live without a net. In the right octaves with Sammy not running out of air and letting Mikey sing the high parts alone.
