Satch was magical and I could close my eyes and feel Eddie, Jason was thunderous like his father on drums, Mikey with that signature thumping bass galloping and Sammy at 76 bringing me right back to 1986 on the 5150 tour. Amazing night!

To think, this will likely be the last time that we will hear Van Halen songs by any of the remaining members played ever again. Michael and Sammy are getting up there in years. I really wish Alex would've taken them up on the offer, but I also understand that he doesn't want to perform without his brother.
I think what I liked so much about VH was that Eddie always seemed so happy when he was on stage playing guitar. Sammy is the same way. You can tell he still loves being on stage and the dude can still sing.
Wow! Great show and amazing setlist! Massive props to Joe Satriani. How many players would want to tackle this assignment? Joe does an incredible job of staying close enough to the original to make it sound like we all remember it while adding enough of his own style to not sound like a clone.

Saw them in Toronto last week. Just brilliant!. Joe is a genius. Such a soulful player and honest with EVH's material. They look like their having so much fun. Bonham is a monster too.
Amazing - there’s just really no band that can compare to the music that came out of Van Halen-there are so many great artists so many great bands but really all you have to do is listen -the proof is in the music-everyone brings incredible talent and musicianship to all of the music and performances I could be here all day talking about how great this is-Joe really brought it. There were so many amazing moments and they all felt it when they happened. They all rocked Joe delivered -Bonham rocked -there’s no voice like Sammy Hagar in rock -amazing.
Joe is actually doing 2 things. He’s not only having to play everything accurately for all the fans of Eddie, but also having to tune down to accommodate Sammy’s natural decline in vocal strength. Joe’s doing an awesome job.
Extra happy because this gets Joe in front of many who are not too familiar with him. He is a legend a true master of the guitar. A teacher of guitar to Vai, Kirk and other greats. Great performance by this band which is as good as it gets. It’s all 🔥.

Just got my sister and her husband tickets to sammy's st. Louis concert for her birthday. Shes never seen sammy. She took me to def leapord for my birthday. i had never seen them. I figured i would return the favor. Def lepord kicked ass. I hope she feels the same about sammy.
Space Station #5 is as good as it gets. I just wish they'd have played the whole song instead of as part of a medley. Still...I think I need to go see this set.
