The only consideration abaout Talon is that protects Marit Lage against edicts too (although at the cost of one attack phase), and can phase a coloreless blocker
@@DougesOnTwitch by all means, testing new cards is what gives value to theorycrafting! I had some talk with my friends (we all play depths, I'm on gwx as some other, while a couple of them are on turbo) and the feeling is that talon is worth considering for both decks, but especially for turbo since it doesn't have bowman (at least not the versions we knew about) or saga tokens. Gwx could get away with some token generator, but for turbo is more difficult. Anyway, if bowman will end up been played in turbo, I think wight of the reliquary should be considered
Devin said it best - I think if you move towards the rainbow lands then it's worth just going with a rainbow build of Depths - still a very powerful version of Depths If you want GB without Bayou, I've played competitively with Blooming Marsh

I think I was a little too bias towards giving opponents another turn and should test out Talon in the future builds for sure

Thoughts on rainbow lands instead of duals?
Only worth running if you are splashing for cards like stifle IMO. Budget considerations are another reason to run them.
