    How in the hell you get that baffle out (without a slide hammer)

    • @TSTindustries

      Hahaha....you do it before you puff hydrocarbon soot all over the parts. Once the exhaust is in service for a while the job gets more difficult.

    do you need to tune bike if you install this?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Год назад +1

      In our Dyno runs the bike with just the exhaust installed ran a bit leaner than we typically tune for but we'll below stoich so should be safe. Up in the higher rpms at full load the mixture was safe

      @@TSTindustries thanks, I'll take a look on that. Do you maybe recommend any relatively cheap other engine mods from your shop?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Год назад

      @@mig1552 the Ninja 400 is a bike we know really well inside and out. We have developed several race bikes on that platform in supersport and superbike trims. Our supersport+ machine (supersport with some bolt on parts that make it not supersport legal ) put down peak 57hp with 31ft lb of torque. We have parts for many levels of build. Even though some of the components are inexpensive, they require internal engine work, which itself requires removing the engine from the frame and disassembling it. From the sound of your comments, I think that is not what you want to do. If bolt-ons are the only route then I can recommend our high performance air intake along with the ECU flash that makes best use of that system in conjunction with a full exhaust. The air intake system does cost more than just the velocity stacks, but it includes the stacks and a racing air filter, and it also drops off several pounds of dead weight. If you consider the value and not just the cost, then what you get by doing the airbox system and flash, along with a full exhaust that you probably already have, is the best cost to benefit ratio.
