Todd Tuckey takes you into that classic TV show and shows you Gottlieb's Pinball Machine based on show complete with a moving helicopter! PLUS...tips on keeping your copter running right!
I loved watching this! I was thrilled to be part of this game's manufacturing team... I am the voice of the 911 operator (I also worked in maintaining the bills of materials for each game) but being the voice... well that was just awesome :)
+Marcia Swartz WOW Marcia!! Thank you so much for responding...We just got another Rescue 911 into the showroom...when it sells, we will make a video of it also...but I thought maybe it would be fun to call you on Speakerphone as we make the video and talk about the game!! Would you be up for that? My direct email is tntquality@aol.com Todd
TNT Amusements Inc anytime, and Farsight, as always did a wonderful job in re-creating every aspect including the centerpiece of Rescue 911 (which is the helicopter)
Riz2336 I think its particularly neat since it can be done with a light socket, an LED, and a nut! and it makes it looks so much better...REMEMBER that it HAS to be a 12 volt LED (a flasher bulb) or the regular LED will burn out pretty quickly!
Hi Todd, Tell Frank we are all praying for a speedy recovery! Also, I hope you received my Shadow Pin in one piece. I saw where it was delivered last week. Love the videos and the way you guys improve the look of the pins! Thanks, Scott
Thanks Mr T love it! Looks like the one I have, the LED's really make the game look awesome! best mod I have done to it yet. I put red t-molding on mine and thinking of painting the armor red too. Keep up the great work, and FRANK! get better soon!
Sending frank some more well wishes for a speedy recovery! Hurry back, we need you to be there to put Todd in his place in the videos and to shake the camera to anger some of the viewers...lol. Feel better frank! I'm surprised Todd didn't try to green screen picking you up from the hospital with the pinball game's helicopter
There's this restaurant in Leesburg FL called the "Ramshackle" that has this same machine but one time I came there to play it, I noticed a receipt crumbled up and jammed inside the exit of the ball lock.
The machine was in the firehouse for many years not being used. We were cleaning up and guys wanted to throw it out. So I took it home. I'll keep looking locally. Thanks guys and keep the great videos coming.
TNT Amusements Inc quick connect seems to much of a pain. being a computer geek I'm used to coin cells. albeit changing them off the laptop is a bit involved
Hey everyone. I am looking at picking up one in partial working order. No DMD, display cover, speaker covers, flippers, or Helicopter. Aside from the expensive DMD, and the elusive helicopter, would this be a good buy at $600?
+snupello you have to run 4 new wires to operate the magnet and the helicopter motor since the old ones are breaking where they get twisted. Then you can add the light on tyhe same wires that power the helicopter motor.
Bimmy Lee SOMEONE has not watched the last 5 videos! Frank fell ill right before the pinball expo...hernias and other stuff...but he's doing well and is supposed to get out on Monday. He JUST started eating real food...but only certain things. Go back a few videos to look!
I like the really old Gottliebs pinballs but the end of the 80s and mid nineties they where shit to me William's and bally's pinballs in the nineties were alot better

and as of today (March 25, 2016), Rescue 911 is now available for The Pinball Arcade
+figment1988 Thanks for sharing!

Very clever design. Awsome lighting in the machine by the way.
byebyedarren Thanks!
Real nice addition with the helicopter mod. It looks like it should have been there since day one!
Edmond Niemczura Thanks Ed!
Get Well Frank!! I miss the back and forth between you and Todd; it never disappoints! :)
2 years later, still running like a champ
:-)
What a cool toy with the helicopter, never seen anything like that. Get well soon Frank.

God. This is awesome. Would look great in my basement! Cool video.

Scott Mount Yes...SHadow is in the warehouse...will get it started when we finish the projects in front of it!!
I've thought about owning this machine. It looks like a fun player. Hopefully the man who gets it, thoroughly enjoys playing it.
badreality2 Yes...Philly Fireman got it and was thrilled!
You are having WAAAAY to much fun with that green screen.
daishi5571 Frank is screaming when he watches these from his bed!
TNT Amusements Inc LOL. you need to paint his room green, and green screen him into the workshop!!!
Thanks Mr T love it! Looks like the one I have, the LED's really make the game look awesome! best mod I have done to it yet. I put red t-molding on mine and thinking of painting the armor red too. Keep up the great work, and FRANK! get better soon!
obxfirediver Glad you like it!! Yes...My Frank hopefully wsill be out of hospital Monday!
Get well soon Frank, all the best
Nicely done as usual! I never really liked this game, but that looks sharp!
Paul M It's always best to retry something when its 100%!

Edmond Niemczura He will be thrilled when he reeads this!

Some bozo must have done that!
I love the led scheme you used on this Machine, is there any chance I could get a listing of the LED types and colors for this??
Fantastic job, love this game
Jeff Parkin Thanks!
great video guys. I'm a NYC fireman and I have this same machine at my house. how could I get service on it?
+Drew Logan Hi Drew! First try where you got it from...if a no-go, try googling local repairmen!
The machine was in the firehouse for many years not being used. We were cleaning up and guys wanted to throw it out. So I took it home. I'll keep looking locally. Thanks guys and keep the great videos coming.
+Drew Logan Glad it didn;t get thrown out!!
0:11 you're so funny in this intro for the #rescue911pinballgame.
My dad might rediscover his Gottlieb game if he ever gets it back :)
KingHenryVR4 See? He can pop in a light very easily into his helicopter!
TNT Amusements Inc No I was talking about if he ever gets his Gottlieb Aquarius game back :)
What gauge wire did you use for the helicopter harness inside of the braided sleeve? Thanks.
I am not sure of the gague now...BUT, it would be similar to the ones in the regular harness...and stranded too.
So is it random on the quick connects vs coin cells , customer request , or a legitimate reason for putting those in??
Lee Bartholomew For customer ease of changing! TNT always tries to improve!

quick connect seems to much of a pain. being a computer geek I'm used to coin cells. albeit changing them off the laptop is a bit involved
Ever do a Banzai Run? what do they go for? One of my Fave. pinball games havent seen one in years.
nationalist818 Last one we had in was three years ago, before we started doing these daily videos.
I saw one on Ebay for 8K is that what they go for? How rare?
Hey everyone. I am looking at picking up one in partial working order. No DMD, display cover, speaker covers, flippers, or Helicopter. Aside from the expensive DMD, and the elusive helicopter, would this be a good buy at $600?
+RecRoom Rescues probably not...where will you find the other stuff?
I'm from Brazil, I bought a defective 911. It is defective in the GAL-U8. I couldn't get the file to record a new 16V8
I have this game. Great game.
:-)
Ciao...the lamp inside the red blinking is 12V o 6V ?? tks
The light on the top in the dome is 12 volts!
tks a lot
Frank, in praying for you in Jesus name. Stay strong, brother. You are not alone.
hey the fix is add the lamp inside the Helicopter ??
+snupello you have to run 4 new wires to operate the magnet and the helicopter motor since the old ones are breaking where they get twisted. Then you can add the light on tyhe same wires that power the helicopter motor.
+TNT Amusements Inc thanks a lot !!
i use : socket T10 W5W connector and T10 W5W PURE WHITE 45mA 12V LED it's ok ??
+TNT Amusements Inc i can insert two socket and two lamp ??
Wow!
+Pete Townshend One of my more elaborate openings...but such a neat game to do it for!
Shatners best work :D
KingHenryVR4 Hmmmmm....I actually am really enjoying his Priceline stuff!
It’s a close tie with the Twilight Zone episode, Nightmare at 20000 feet. He was awesome in that. And then there’s TJ Hooker. So versatile he is.
Hows frank doing todd :-)
"I'm always for fresh rubbers"...That's what *she* said.
:-)
What's happened to Frank? Have I missed something?
Bimmy Lee SOMEONE has not watched the last 5 videos! Frank fell ill right before the pinball expo...hernias and other stuff...but he's doing well and is supposed to get out on Monday. He JUST started eating real food...but only certain things. Go back a few videos to look!
Thanks Todd, I'll catch up on what I've missed...
...The show is not the same without the main star... (;
Glad to hear he's on the up!
the thickness of the wires has nothing to do with the voltage ......
What happened to Frank?
RonTheWoodman Look at my reply in another comment here!
Thumbs up;)
pinballshawn The fireman who got it was thrilled!
I like the really old Gottliebs pinballs but the end of the 80s and mid nineties they where shit to me William's and bally's pinballs in the nineties were alot better
Does anyone honestly think 911 is a good game......?
When the game came out, everyone was stunned!
