I am completely jealous of the customer picking this up. The leds on that new back glass really make the colors pop! Fantastic work guys! One of my all time favorite pinball games!
Brilliant! I'm new to pins, but starting to really appreciate them. The V-pins are introducing me to these wonderful works of historical art, and I'd really like to get the chance to play the real pins, if I can ever find them. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing.
I never played this game before until the emulated PS3 version, the one in your video is AWESOME! Those LEDs make that game look simply amazing. Considering the condition that game was in when you started, it's a amazing job you all did. I like this one far more than Black Hole, even if those right flippers are cheap with that ginormous gap.
Growing up, my parents owned an ice-cream parlor, and In the back was an arcade room. There was a company that had an arrangement with my parents to supply the many popular games of the the 80s.... Pacman, Centipede, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Donkey Kong, and many many others. Haunted House was one of the pinball machines.... If I could choose any of the games from the 80s.... This was my Fav! Scored some very high scores. :) Someday I would like to have one. Thanks for the memories. Also, I like it better without the voice.
So beautiful! I know this video is a bit old, but it's such a beauty I had to say how beautiful it is! It's you guys! Your fault I love Haunted House so much! Because you sold one to my uncle 20 years ago. ;) Hours and hours I'd play that Haunted House with my cousins. Such a great game. No DMD, no fancy gimmicks, no speech, just fun fun fun. The sound especially is phenomenal really draws you in. :) The little wail at the end after you drain your last ball still sends chills down my spine.
Beautiful Haunted House restoration. Steven is an artist for sure. Do you have any of the NOS backglass left? Good to hear about the old Suburban Diner days.
Like the MUNSTERS intro one of my favorite 60s shows behind Green Acres :) I played a little bit of this through Zen Pinball HD on my tablet pretty fun game
TNT Amusements Inc he does that even to games that aren't entirely my favourite. Pinball Arcade has this in steam/android.. eh think both offer different games plays and I'd rather play it real. one thing apps can't do. LAYERS!!
Todd, we have a Haunted House that we had fixed, but it is no longer working. We are in Maryland/Delaware area. Do you know of a reputable shop in our area that we could have fix our machine? Thanks so much.
Hey hey! Great video. You mentioned placing in a 4893 in the lower play field, why? Only asking as I just scored a HH and that coil almost caught on fire as it was seized. Jordo
Yes...its a stronger coil and heeps it power. If coil burns out there is a problem with the electronics that power the coil or in some cases a stuck switch on relay that powers the coil with contacts fusing together. We always install new contacts
First pinball, in the UK that needed 3 coins per credit. Great restoration work, the back glass really does pop with the colour..yes colour scheme. I have a question Todd. Several machines I played, I now realise, the trapdoor target was broken. What kept it up when not lit?..small coil or latch? Or something more ingenious? Waiting on high speed..
I noticed there are both red and green side buttons on the game. Are they both flipper button controls and are they tied together or does one only do the lower play field while the other one handles the main and upper fields?
Wasn't so sure about this game after trying it on ps4's Pinball Arcade, but after seeing it in real person, I think it looks pretty neat. Can't compare a video game to the real thing.
I saw on one of your restorations in another customers video. The coin door inserts had 3 Skulls instead of the 25 cent labels, do you know where I can get those?
Ben Hove Labor was $1105 (painting, playfield work, etc), Parts (including LEDs) $431, Used Clean Logic Board $150, Plastic set $190, & Backglass $300. We charged just $80 for each round trip to his home (to pick up and bring back--about 50 minute trip each way)
hello todd new subscriber great job on hh!! just wondering another restore i seen on youtube had hh with the flipper buttons on the side were lighted. i think the top button green and bottom red. would that be extra if you did another on a restore on haunted house? thanks for the info and excellent videos on your fantastic work!! ...nvc
NVC1019 Hi! Glad to have you aboard! The lighted flipper buttons can be added if there is enough cabinet room, with standard LED.s. However,if they were to get to close to the playfield , then special buttons would have to be ordered.
yourdreamin0 Maybe on the next one we sell..this was an overhaul and customer at the time didn;t want to add more expense...he can always add it down the road though!
Damon0306 That ticking sound is the sound of the relay that turns the lower playfield lights on and off while the game is in the "attract" mode. When the game is being played, the lights ONLY turn on when the ball drops below! When the clear glass is on, the sound is less apparent...and in a room with even low levels of sound, it is not anywhere near as noticeable!
I know a guy who has a Haunted House along with a Williams Space Mission and one that I couldn't figure out all sitting in a damp basement wasting away. Won't sell them.
What drives me crazy about this pin, is that I remember it so fondly from when I was a kid & always wanted one in my house, but now that I'm in my 40's and have the means to buy one for myself....I simply don't play this game very well at ALL! I've tried!!! *childhood ruined*
Yeah about a decade or so ago pinballs were cheaper $500 nobody wanted them and worse tended to store them outside!!! like dead cars. with weeds growing around the legs .. this is a selling point?? smh or if I were curt I'd point my finger to me head and pow. Whatever you do to a mold infested pinball game to what you have now MAGIC!!
TNT Amusements Inc about a decade ago I was on ebay looking for pinbot. shoulda grabbed one and stored it. many of them were outside :( was like watching Tommy O_O
I love this game. This and Black Hole are on my most wanted list.
Both great games! Just sold another Black Hole for a Christmas delivery!
Black hole is my favorite 80’s table
You guys crack me up…love these videos
Wow! The new colored LEDs in this look amazing. Great work. I need to upgrade mine now
I am completely jealous of the customer picking this up. The leds on that new back glass really make the colors pop! Fantastic work guys! One of my all time favorite pinball games!
CornerBoy Thanks! The man was thrilled when we brought it back!
Awesome! I remember this back in the day, love the vintage look. Those leds really pop, excellent work.
Every time I watch these videos I start to make a list of my dream purchases!
Brilliant! I'm new to pins, but starting to really appreciate them. The V-pins are introducing me to these wonderful works of historical art, and I'd really like to get the chance to play the real pins, if I can ever find them. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing.
One of Gottliebs greatest games, and it sure scrubs up a real treat
These guys are the best all my Florida people are looking into him
That Haunted House looks Mint! The play field is sick 3 levels! First time Ive seen it.
Jonathan Manganaro It's NEAT!
And 8 flippers, madness.
Nicest Haunted House I have ever seen period. Super job.
SCIONIZER Thanks! I think we did a very nice restore on this classi! Customer was thrilled, considering how awful it was when it came in!

Paul M The TNT Craftsmen are true pros!

John Riopel Good choice!
Great music and sound stil... great video in a very diffren time 2014 :)
Brilliant. Nice restoration of an awesome classic. Subbed.
+X Gen Thank you!!
You guys always do good work that is a very beautiful machine
Thanks Hector!!
It looks perfect!
omg that's awesome. I can only imagine what one in this condition would cost. Looks better than new!
Perry Scoon I think we did a fantastic job on this restoration!
I love all these videos so much. I'm not particularly even interested in some of these machines, but the videos just suck you in!
Glad you are enjoying them...I hope you have subscribed!
Beautiful!
James Kennedy Thanks James!
The startup music was my ringtone for many years.
:-)
This table, my favorite in my childhood
Has 5 balls per play
Has version in The Pinball arcade too
FortunaChan Just a little switch to make it 5 balls!
Great theme song!
TNT Amusements Inc Yeah on both shows, also like the Bach music from the pinball :)
8:28 - That face you make when you're going for a super high score and the ball goes straight to the outlane...
That's my patented "you imbecile" look!
Haunted House Pinball! This can be a hard pinball game, if you are not fast and quick with your flipper buttons.
absolutely!!
Nice work and keep the green screen effects coming Todd!
marc smith All to keep you watching!!

Todd, we have a Haunted House that we had fixed, but it is no longer working. We are in Maryland/Delaware area. Do you know of a reputable shop in our area that we could have fix our machine? Thanks so much.
I would suggest you google just the maryland area for a repair person...
I should really get mine back together..
+Dave Boyer Yes....a fun game to play!
Waiting on high speed..
gallimead A regular coil keeps it closed!
Good video. Any idea when you will cover that Discs of Tron?
Chris Kahl Thanks! Will positively be doing Discs in next two weeks...we now have ALL the parts!
I need to get the HH my friend has..Would be cool to have! $300 WAS fair for NOS BG!!
Dan Keller YES!! ...since repros are $300 on most other games!
I noticed there are both red and green side buttons on the game. Are they both flipper button controls and are they tied together or does one only do the lower play field while the other one handles the main and upper fields?
Yes...the one set runs ONLY the main playfield and the other set runs the upper and lower playfield flippers.
Wasn't so sure about this game after trying it on ps4's Pinball Arcade, but after seeing it in real person, I think it looks pretty neat. Can't compare a video game to the real thing.
nothing compares to seeing the real thing whenever possible!
Do you have another back glass? So where are you located just acquired a Gottlieb Haunted House that needs some love and a key..
we do not...sorry!
I saw on one of your restorations in another customers video. The coin door inserts had 3 Skulls instead of the 25 cent labels, do you know where I can get those?
Charles Gerst They may have come from Jeff at Classic Arcades. Its also possible they were on the machine before we started on it.
Is that a "Discs of Tron" game to the Left of the Machine???...I HAVE one!....just need to get it working again!
yes it is!
Also,I just bought a Haunted House game last week!😎
Who was coughing while Todd was playing Haunted House? Steve the painter, or Kurt the pinball electronics guy?
Nicholas Serio Whoever it is, they are DEAD!
Amazing restore! What's a job like that cost?
Ben Hove Labor was $1105 (painting, playfield work, etc), Parts (including LEDs) $431, Used Clean Logic Board $150, Plastic set $190, & Backglass $300. We charged just $80 for each round trip to his home (to pick up and bring back--about 50 minute trip each way)

what was that about the up kicker coil?
some of them were never modified for more reliable operation.
Have you thought of trying the pascal boards with speech for haunted house
yourdreamin0 Maybe on the next one we sell..this was an overhaul and customer at the time didn;t want to add more expense...he can always add it down the road though!
What's that ticking sound that all Haunted House PINS make? Is there a way to stop that?
Damon0306 That ticking sound is the sound of the relay that turns the lower playfield lights on and off while the game is in the "attract" mode. When the game is being played, the lights ONLY turn on when the ball drops below! When the clear glass is on, the sound is less apparent...and in a room with even low levels of sound, it is not anywhere near as noticeable!
There is also a multiball mod for this game
Joseph Blasi Yes...I heard about that! Will explore this on the next HH we do!
I know a guy who has a Haunted House along with a Williams Space Mission and one that I couldn't figure out all sitting in a damp basement wasting away. Won't sell them.
7:54 (game): *shuts down* (clay): oh frank did you broke the game and gone to tilt mode? (frank): yes......
Frank always does stuff to fluster me!
ha ha ha was that the munster's theme you were using in the haunted house green screen
Yes...I couldn;t resist!!
First time Steven did not act impolite and aggressive...way better
his hatred of me gets worse and worse!
this reminds me of the black whxxx i mean black whole
ahhhh....you picked up on that!
What drives me crazy about this pin, is that I remember it so fondly from when I was a kid & always wanted one in my house, but now that I'm in my 40's and have the means to buy one for myself....I simply don't play this game very well at ALL! I've tried!!! *childhood ruined*
indyracingnut Maybe you need to get one and try it out again!
TNT Amusements Inc Good idea....We'll talk about that too when we meet up at D24 in August. This is Tony W. We talked on Facebook about it. :)
indyracingnut You mean Walt Disney D23 Convention!!
TNT Amusements Inc Yes, that's the one...I mistyped that. It was late! :)
+TNT Amusements Inc is there any for sale?
