They used to have this machine in a cafe underneath a restaurant my parents took us to as kids. I was about 10 and I’m now 36. This is the first time in 26 years I’ve seen this machine light up like it did when I was 10
Twilight Zone, awesome Television Series, I'm 39 years old and I always watch the Marathon every New Years with my father. The movie was pretty awesome also.
I worked at Dave&Busters in Dallas for several years working on pinball games. Twilight Zone was by far my favorite. I played it many hours before opening and after closing! I was damn good at it too!
When I was a kid (199?) I had a really rich friend who invited me to go to Chautauqua New York private lake and they had this pinball machine at the lake arcade. I fell in love with the game immediately. Nowadays, a local barcade near me has a very beat up yet still functioning Twilight Zone. Time does go by.
That has to be the nicest Twilight Zone you have ever sold! Thanks for the video, Todd. Can't wait for more. I need to get up to PA from NC to pay you a visit.
mr2foryou We sold this YEARS ago..and just traded in...its great getting games we sold years ago back! (Because we know they will be nice to start with!)
Still have to restore my Twilight pinball...video's great for some tips and tricks as well thanks...too bad i don't live in the states otherwise i would have considered TNT to restore it :-)
I've played this one once. I remember the ball dropped like a rock. Was not prepared for it! Also, Golden Earing's Twilight Zone is a helluva banger. Gotta rock'n base line and a smoking guitar solo. Cool lyrics inspired by Robert Ludlum novels (Bourne novels) - HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TWILIGHT ZONE TV SHOW!!
I think that the game gives enough context to the show stuff that it doesn't feel out of place to those that never heard or saw of The Twilight Zone. Though, 2 of the most prominent features of the table (the Gumball Machine and The Power(field/ball)) are not from the show itself. My headcanon is that this machine is a sequel to The Addams Family, as The Power first appeared on that machine as 3 magnets that would disrupt shots.
a really good pinball game whose fast lock pays a major throwback homage to some of Pat Lawlor's games such as Banzai Run, Addams Family, and Funhouse. Speaking of Funhouse, if you hit the clock six times during the Clock Chaos mode, Rudy from Funhouse will admonish you for ''playing with the clock''
I'm starting to think that a swear jar might be in order. No doubt there would be a local charity that could benefit? The question is, who would be most put of pocket? Love your work! Cheers Michael.
you opened this (pinball machine glass cover) door with the key of imagination? :-) hehe SUCH A CLASSIC PINBALL MACHINE!! My 2nd favorite of all time, after Cirqus Voltaire...
TNT Amusements Inc yep. i can't decide which pinball machine is better than the other one. Cirqus Voltaire or Twilight Zone... both of them are fun and i can play them for HOURS!!! i bought both of them as a virtual pinball tables with Pinball Arcade. im missing the physical touch so much! you can't compare the virtual with the physical full-size pinball machine :-)
todd, there are still pinball machines at those prices an even lower believe me! lost in warehouses out of america. in some europena countries like mine (Portugal).. eheh. if it was not the case, having a pinball machine would be a child dream untill i die in my case at least. ahah
My favorites, from the top of my head: 1) Twilight Zone 2) Medieval Madness 3) Attack From Mars 4) Indiana Jones Pinball Adventure 5) Fish Tales 6) Theatre Of Magic 7) Addams Family 8) Lethal Weapon 9) Fun House 10) White Water Honorable Mentions >Monster Bash >Terminator II >Getaway II
If old Williams tables were still $800 I'd drive around the entire country buying every one that I could find. Twilight Zone doesn't go for less than $8,000 these days, forget $800 lol
It would be great if you could compile a list of arcades, bars, restaurants, etc, that have this machine. I live in the Detroit area. Btw, my second favorite pinball machine after Twilight Zone is Star Trek Next Generation.
nationalist818 Two reasons...had some issues with the new camera, and lost cable for the old HD tape camera ...shot all this footage and could not upload to edit! Cable on its way...then can get these videos we have done up (Wizard of Oz, Theater of Magic, Big Bang Bar)...we have more sales for January than December...not actually sure why...
Minor correction... Rod Serling didn't die from cancer; he died from a heart attack. Obviously, smoking still had a hand in his death at such a young age (50), sadly.
Originally because I cut it at 29 seconds, it was monetized and we did make money on it. Since Jan 2020, they now zap you at any more than 8 seconds. At be lease most of the views made a little bit. I actually only have 55 videos out of 1620 videos uploaded that I cannot earn $ on...so ratio is not bad. Thanks for your comment!
Hi. I was wondering. I had my Twilight serviced. The service guy used silicone rubbers from Titan. Surely the original rubbers are better and indeed as original as the game should be. I prefer original and I am not on a budget trying to save pennies. Which is better. The original rubbers or the silicone. Thank you for reading my comment.
@@tntamusements I am from South Africa. And I love your posts. Thank you. Also. On my twilight the slot machine releases the ball differently all the time. So sometimes centre of the flipper and other times through the centre and ball gone and lost. Any ideas here with that. Thank you
Glad to see your back in some stride. oh I'm sure you can get more filmed. bring in one of those nice geeks that are in for their tablet. kinda like me. dreamers. except they are getting their dream and help with the Pizza too. I'm sure they can at least show it off. albeit skip the back glass.. but they could. any fanatic would come in for free just to show it off. :) no matter how many times we've seen it. like movies with 3-4 commentary tracks on them :) ahem yes I'm in the middle of a.... oh yeah thats why physical hard drives suck. X_X 3 Terabytes go poof. never heard of the whack the drive solution but it sure as hell works. (only when clicking and the drive has to be spinning at the time (smart tests usually get a drive to spin..) no not top to bottom but on the side and generally in the direction where the hard drive head should be parked. temp fix for getting stuff off the drive. from now on I'll be having a backup for that drive...
Only thing on Twilight Zone didn't like is when u complete the play field mods the game goes to game over even if u still have x-tra balls. Theatre of Magic let u start over when u complete playfied modes .Both excellent pinball designs
That must've been an early version of the ROMS. Most versions I've played, including the home ROMS, the game starts over after you complete Lost In The Zone.
Todd I heard my last name that will be 39.45 plus tax When I go to Knoebels I love to play the twilight zone in playland and also I would Put color changing LEDs or purple for a cooler effect in the doorway but other than that great job. who worked on it Jason or tony I'd like to know and I'm going to try to start my own RUclips channel that I'm planing to call arcade and games but I'm not sure
TNT Amusements Inc wha wha wha WHAT?!?! I'm in Toronto Canada. 'fraid all we have here is the Playdium store and they aren't exactly focused on quality.
Spent many a penny on this game. Your fantastic videos are like a beautiful wave of nostalgia. Thanks for this.

A lot of people don't know that the "Power Ball" is ceramic! Just a tidbit of trivia! :)
Super pinball and the film😀
This pinball is gorgeous !!!!
Thank you!
Looks great as usual Todd! I was never a fan of this table, but it still looks sharp.
Thanks Paul!
You have a fantastic voice! What an opening! Let me know when tickets are on sale to see you live. :P

Wenn man Pins sammelt, muß man diesen Pin haben. Einsame Spitze und wird nie langweilig.

Todd, I just bought a TZ from a family who has had it since 95, it has you 1995 anniversary sticker on it!
tonystein23 Aha!! One ofmy games has surfaced! Glad it found a good home!
Du bist der Beste !

The best pinball ever made ... that is my opinion
SatANGEL666666 I would have to say in the top ten!!!
One of my favorite pinball machines. Would love to play it again.
It is still out there!

zogsquid I do not think I could get a jar big enough!
Where are the sound effects and music stored on these machines?
hey todd missed the vids good to see them back hope you had a good new years. When will we get to see Part 2 of the Pinball expo?

I saw the title and was calling the warehouse. However, I'm nearly a decade late. Oops.
Didn't realize the clock reverts to real time when nobody's playing the machine, just found out the other day when I was playing on it!
How often do they need maintenance after delivery? Great machine. Played many games on that in high school.
Very little once they have gotten past the first couple days in its new home!
Time to start saving some money. :)
Golden Earing from the Netherlands!!
MrVinamp Yes...some people don;t realize that Williams uses this music on the pinball.
another big one
Yes...a great game
todd, there are still pinball machines at those prices an even lower believe me! lost in warehouses out of america. in some europena countries like mine (Portugal).. eheh. if it was not the case, having a pinball machine would be a child dream untill i die in my case at least. ahah
Yes...they are out there...but those numbers continue to diminish...as those places flood out or get weather damaged...
That is my High score NIK .I destroyed that thing my favorite game ever.
The SHADE being thrown in this video...
What is a fair price from a private seller on this particular pinball machine? Any advice would help.
4K to 5K
I'd love jjp to do a new version of this game like they did with guns and roses
Twilight zone is the best pinball machine ever what's your favorite
this and funhouse
This is in my top 10. Adams Family. Paragon. Fun House.
My favorites, from the top of my head:
1) Twilight Zone
2) Medieval Madness
3) Attack From Mars
4) Indiana Jones Pinball Adventure

9) Fun House
10) White Water

handymannification ....."help...I'm steppin' into the Twilight Zone....."
It would be great if you could compile a list of arcades, bars, restaurants, etc, that have this machine. I live in the Detroit area.
Btw, my second favorite pinball machine after Twilight Zone is Star Trek Next Generation.
I will have to do that maybe if I ever get to Detroit!
I just thought maybe you could create a map with all the Twilight Zone machines you have sold. There might be one I could drive to....
I missed you guys, seemed you were gone forever. What do you think the reason sales are up? End of the recession ?

they are fine...its just a preference!
I see you use white rubbers. I have the black rubbers on mine...What is the difference if may?
Black rubbers will absolutely last much longer but make game look darker. White rubbers have much more bounce also.

cold solder connections to start...and sometimes simply adjusting the leg levelers height a little bit changes the angle of the ball
super......
:-)

***** Yes....our "Caveman" sound effect bloops it all out!
I feel like real gumballs in the machine would be a bit risky... they'd probably melt and stick to the plastic! But hey, what do I know!
Jetrulez15 we only have the plastic ones in there!

TNT Amusements Thanks for your reply 🍺
That must've been an early version of the ROMS. Most versions I've played, including the home ROMS, the game starts over after you complete Lost In The Zone.
I want to buy a twilight zero me for my house but there 7000 dollars dose anyone know somewhere selling twilight zone for cheap
