I probably played one of the original 1996 Capcom Big Bang Bar, King Pin, and Breakshot back in the day at the former Nickel City Arcade in Scripps Ranch, a neighborhood of San Diego. Nickel City was owned by Capcom at that time.
@@tntamusements Actually you are wrong about King Pin never being made because I remember playing it! Maybe it was a prototype or something released exclusive to Capcom’s own arcade (Nickel City)?
Enjoy that coffee! Next time, I'll make sure to include the New Orleans blend (with Chickory) for Frank. Honored to be included in this monumental video about sacrificing one thing you love for another... I sure want to play this pin one day, or see it emulated in the pinball arcade. Of all the tables to sell, though? I can feel the pain... Barbarella is way groovy... Adam Savage from Mythbusters, and Tested recently created a sweet replica of Barbarella's curved rifle. Go check it out...
Aaah! It was the electroluminescent driver that was making the noise. I could hear a high pitched whistling that changed rhythmically. Just like the sound made by animated electroluminescent material.
Another great video! Thanks Mr T, and yes Flippers in Grandy NC has one you can play for 2 tokens! Awesome collection of games if you ever get down this way.
There's a Big Bang Bar at the Museum of Pinball in Banning, CA! Not sure if it's the prototype or the re-release, though. Even though the museum is only open for special events at the moment (like the coming Arcade Expo in January), all the pinball and arcade games are on Free Play.
Wow, me and my fiancee played lots of Big Bang Bar at the Pinball Museum in Baltimore before it shut down. I had no idea the game was such a rarity! Great vid!
I found your channel recently and love every minute of it. Todd you are hilarious even when you're jokes are cheesy. Love the acting. lmao. Also love the knowledge of history about most of these games. Like seeing the layouts of every game and a little of the gameplay. Frank, keep up your patience with Todd, good job filming these videos. I'm trying to go through the list and watch every video, going to take some time though!! Say hi to all the crew for me. Brent from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Stay young at heart!!!
Vito Gesualdi oh yes! also patended are Funhouse Rudy's eye movements following the ball...Sterns Simpsons had to have a random head turn to get around that!
I checked and the trademark for "Multiball" is now dead. Shocked it was ever issued in the first place. I played BBB last summer at Southern Fried Gameroom Expo. I must be weird, because I just wasn't impressed. Not saying it's bad, it just didn't wow me like other pins have. Still, another great and informative video.... and Sea Wolf guy never gets old.
Love this game so much. My only gripe is that left drain from the pop bumper area really slows the ball down. But artwork is ridiculously beautiful and awesome to look at. Music is there too. Must own one someday!
I had to do a double take when I heard Community Coffee as I didn't think it was known outside of the NOLA area, nice. Thanks for the videos, though when I first began to play pinball at age 7 in 1978 I didn't realize it until later but we actually had a really great selection of pinball to choose from including what now I'm finding out many of the more uncommon games such as Hotdoggin and Class of 1812 (form my grammar school to college years) widely available thanks to the former New Orleans Novelty Company (reading up I realized just how large of a role they played in pin distribution). Anyway thanks for the videos and about all we do have down here is really good food these days as well as music but sadly virtually no pinball.
I found some differences between the original and reproduction versions of Big Bang Bar, The electroluminescent lights on the reproductions ran on 12 volts while the original ran on 24v, the tube lady on the repro was 13% smaller than the one on the original versions because Mr. Cunningham didn't have any access to the original molds, and one of the most obvious ones is that each reproduction included a plaque on the right side of the machine although some operators covered the plaque with a scorecard.
Have you guys ever come across the Goin' Nuts pinball machine? If you do please make a video. I love watching you guys explain the features on these great pinball machines. That one is so rare it would be cool to see one of the ten that were made.
TNT Amusements Inc, I doubt that would be possible coming across a Goin' Nuts pinball machine, only 10 of them were ever made and only one known public location where you can play it... that location is the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas Nevada but the one there has a pop bumper that fails to operate so they may ship it over to be fixed.
Must have been hard to say goodbye to, but it was indeed for a good cause! Also, Rosencratz and Guildenstern are the names of characters from a Shakespeare play!
Grew up with and got to play most of the classics in my local arcades in Canada... Now I'm in Taiwan, and they are rare as heck out here. Wish I could get anything like 90's or more recent... shipping will be extremely costly though...
***** We can ship to a seaport in Taiwan for just $600! You would either pickup there or arrange delivery. You probably will have a duty tax too. But its possible!!
TNT Amusements Inc Very cool. I'll see about getting myself a Christmas present this year hopefully. Really amazing amount of work you guys put into restoring your machines. One of my biggest concerns is getting maintenance out here, but that's put to rest with your team!

"Guildenstern", not "Gillstem", silly Todd! ;) Great video, can't believe you were able to let that thing go! I guess if it is for a good cause, though! Wasn't able to watch the whole video yet, what did you end up selling it for if you don't mind saying?
Want. But don't have £25,000.00 to spare. Also, if I had one, it would end up stuck in a display with electrified rope around it, an obstacle course, and a sign saying, "BEWARE OF THE TIGER" before anyone could even get near it. I'd never play it for fear it might break and I might not be able to get the bits to fix it.

Interesting idea for someone to try!
Thank you Frank!
Hamish Guthrey He appreciates you mentioning him!
Didn't even think Capcom had a Pinball table. Data East had em, Midway had em, Williams had em, heck even Atari and Golitebb had em.

I wonder if they are bolted down to keep them from walking off
