My introduction to pin bot was not the actual Pin Bot Pinball machine, but it was the original Nintendo NES Pin Bot video game. The machine in the NES video game version looks just like the actual machine but the colour of the machine would change and ball obstacles would also appear the deeper into the game you got.
Back in 2001 I found one in Freeport Texas a man had for sale for $600.00. Paid him $100.00 a week to hold on to it for me. Still have it best game EVER!
Pinbot and bride of pinbot are my favorite of all time. Brings back so many childhood memories of playing these games! Thank you guys so much for these videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dad's had this machine in their mechanics shop and holy fuck I used to play the HELL out of this machine ALL the time when we would go hang out there. It was the coolest pinball machine when I was a kid lol Played it ALL through the 90's and early 2000's
I have one of these, and it has to be one of the most fun things I’ve ever played lol. I can never get enough of this one, and the look and aesthetic of it is so nostalgic and fun
from when i was 4 years old. that remains to be the one pinball machine i want in my life. its the only 1 i care about. yet i can never find one when i can afford one.
Mid-20s computer tech (who works on a couple of EM machines as a hobby) watching your videos here. If my current gig doesn't work out, I'm applying for TNT. Gotta be a ton of fun working in there!
if i ever buy another pin this would be at the very top, top, top of my list. great game. not to mention it would go well with another game already in my collection, a 1991 bride of pinbot. i also have a jokerz and a high speed. python anghelo designed jokerz, designed all 3 pinbot games, and also did the backglass on high speed. my high speed has a CPR backglass so you could say i really precipitate his artwork. RIP phyton you were one of pin's greats.
I really love how you open this video with a playfield flyover and the PINBOT theme. Would love to see yinz do this more... maybe even slowed down a bit so we can see more of the details close up. Keep up the great work Todd and team!
I've never got the chance to play the actual Pin Bot machine. I had the Pin Bot game for the original NES and I do have the Pinball Hall of Fame for the Wii. I would like to find a place that has the actual Pin Bot machine.
Great video as always, Todd! I love Pin*Bot so much. I've had mine longer than any of my other pinball machines, and I doubt it will ever leave! Those LEDs look fantastic. How much in parts do you think it would cost me to upgrade mine to LEDs?
Todd, you mentioned that you had sold that Pin Bot 25 years ago. I was just wondering... how long exactly has your business existed? I'm a brand new fan. Discovered your page about a week ago or so.
Great intro to a great game. The close-up video with the music was a very nice touch. Pinbot is a favorite of mine too, but I think Galaga is better than Galaxian. Awesome work!
I much prefer Bride of Pinbot, but that's probably because I am terrible at the original Pinbot. You should do a video about your favorite pinball machines; you've played them all, haven't you? ;-)
+TNT Amusements Inc .. Todd, its almost thursday in south africa.. and still no video this week.. i need a video... please..... got my big screen ready..
Hey, I also have a Pinbot and was wondering if you can tell me more about the LED conversion for it. Mine is all original and yours looks really interesting. Thank you.
I just added LEDs to my two pinbots (recent purchases) and the colored LEDs and a trough LED absolutely make the game even more stunning than it already was.. Visually Stunning game with LED lighting and as an added bonus the amp draw on your power supply goes way down.
I just bought a Pinbot at Pinfest, it is is great shape but I'm having major issues with the solar ramp solenoid locking on, the little L crank lock was chipped but doesn't seem to be related to the locking on. I've removed the corresponding fuse to run tests but have no idea where to go from there. Any advice?
Well, the first thing you should do is to call the guy you got it from...he should be able to get this fixed for you! If that's not an option, you can order almost all the parts from either Pinball Resource or Marco Specialties. To get part numbers, a free manual is at www.ipdb.org That plate should be available again. Sometimes the mechanism is bent too...its just hard to guess. Hope that helps!
Hi Todd I am desperately searching for a Pinbot Secondary Wiring Harness as my bridge rectifiers went bad and melted my cables. Any chance to get one from you awesome guys? Regards, Michael
TNT Amusements Inc Well that and also that 85-95 machines are like crazy popular and handed around between the "inner circle" of the collectors with the following price-increase that entails, not a big chance for a "barnfind" Pinbot over here LOL
***** Didnt have cash for it when i popped-up on Blocket (i think they wanted like 18k SEK for it = 2 170 USD) and when i finally had cash for something it was gone anyway so i choose Swords of Fury instead. Btw, you dont happen to know the name "Käck"? ;)
Would love to have one shipped to me in Canada! Exchange rate is terrible at the moment. Wonder if u would consider a trade! Justin Trudeau and 50,000 refugees for the Pin Bot! (No returns)
TNT Amusements Inc I'd do that deal in a second! lol Really love watching your vids... keep up the good work! And the care you put into the repairs is amazing. I believe the machines leave your shop way better than they ever left the factory.
ouch. Ain't , ain't in the dictionary ouch. slightly out of date. That used to be true. it hasn't been true for a long time :P www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ain't like tryint to say the nice version of the planet Uranus nope it's your an** --- It Ain't Me Babe The Turtles 1965 so when they sang it it wasn't. can't remember what year it was added but it was more than a decade ago , some say 1995 or earlier :P I don't believe that , my professors would dock me points because it wasn't in THEIR's.
This was in the game room during my college days. I spent many a quarter on this great game. Wish I had one.
And the python Angelo artwork..
When Williams was firing on all cylinders. Creating the best games ever.
If only.

Pinbot has amazing music. It reminds me of computer pinball I grew up with!
+BenneLuke :-)
Absolutely LOVED this pinball as a teenager!
That's a very sweet looking Pinbot. The insubordination is rampant Todd, time to crack the whip.
+Paul M These boys get away with MURDER!
The first pinball machine I EVER played was PIN*BOT. Hard as nails, VERY ahead of its time, and loaded with little secrets in the artwork!
Yes...my 5th favorite pinball machine!
Love the lighted flipper buttons. Only TNT was lighting buttons seven years ago.
Nice review if this fabulous pin. Thanks, Todd. I FINALLY had the opportunity to play this pin at TPF 2023. really enjoyed the shot variety & options.
If I ever could afford buy pinball machines.
Pin bot definitely be on my top 5.
So much fun.
Back in 2001 I found one in Freeport Texas a man had for sale for $600.00. Paid him $100.00 a week to hold on to it for me. Still have it best game EVER!
Came to see one of my top pinball games looked at in detail. Stayed to watch Todd's amazing Bat Out Of Hell music video. Mind blown.
Pinbot and bride of pinbot are my favorite of all time. Brings back so many childhood memories of playing these games! Thank you guys so much for these videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bride: "I can TALK!"
PINBOT: "OH, NO!"
My dad's had this machine in their mechanics shop and holy fuck I used to play the HELL out of this machine ALL the time when we would go hang out there. It was the coolest pinball machine when I was a kid lol Played it ALL through the 90's and early 2000's
Pin*Bot has always been one of my all time favourites. Boy, I did put some coins in it in real life. This one looks awesome after your care-taking. :)
+Petri547 Thank you!
"That's the end of that camera".........HYSTERICAL!!!
Todd, are you gonna take that from him?!
He is just so MEAN to me!

PINBOT is my childhood dream pin. #1 quarter bandit of my life.

Gotta be a ton of fun working in there!
I was at cedar point when I saw PIN-BOT for the first time in 1994
Thanks. PinBot IS the greatest playing game ever. The most beautiful is Orbit. Those waffels are called Stroopwafels. Kanjer means huge one.
Todd, thank you for the explanation of the fantastic Pinbot by Williams.
Glad you enjoyed it Paul!
I have played both of this games just tall enough to almost see all of the game
the last time I played this great pinball, it looked NOTHING like yours, terrific work your guys have done.
+alan p Thanks Alan!
+alan p Thank you Alan!
I love Pin-Bot & Bride Of Pinbot, 2 of my all time favorites.
+Bo88y Beretta :-)

+Super JLee 2600 Yes...we tried something different this time...for a very special game!
RIP! MEATLOAF!
Truly the great singers of all time.
Todd as Meatloaf - absolutely brilliant! Gave me a real good laugh.
pin*bot i know it from the nes game (ninetendo game system)
last year i found one at a big event. i played it 20 times i love pin bot :)
I have Pinbot, I also have a Star Trek, Count Down and Lost World. I traded Independence Day for it.
A good collection!!
My favorite pinball machine of all time!
Its in my top five!
Me too. Spent endless hours at Galaxy World playing....
What a gorgeous Pin Bot Todd! I didn't know you sang Meatloaf that good? Your voice is better than the original!
+WARRIOR4CHRIST70 KZ4LIFE :-) Did the Cybernaut board work okay?
very cool pinbot. great video
+Ryan Meyerhofer Glad you like our video!
Hey dad I still love you no matter what your sons say I love pin bot and the road kings
I have to agree with you Todd, I LOVE my Pinbot
+Syd :-)
Had one in my basement many years ago. Too bad my parents sold it before I had a chance to put it.
Epic intro Todd!
+Raed Rahman Thanks...we tried something new!
I've never got the chance to play the actual Pin Bot machine. I had the Pin Bot game for the original NES and I do have the Pinball Hall of Fame for the Wii. I would like to find a place that has the actual Pin Bot machine.
Looking for one of those
Also, I'm buying a Galaxian tomorrow, can't wait!
:-)
Great video as always, Todd! I love Pin*Bot so much. I've had mine longer than any of my other pinball machines, and I doubt it will ever leave! Those LEDs look fantastic. How much in parts do you think it would cost me to upgrade mine to LEDs?
With the Super Brights, perhaps $200...Watch the new video this week of a Pinbot we have overhauled...with MORE leds!
That pin bot is awesome, one of the classics. I actually prefer Galaga over Galaxian probably because I played Galaga in arcades back in the day.
+Riz2336 I always liked the smooth movements and the great soud on Galaxian.
Hey Todd. Music from Pinbot written by Chris Granner, not Brian. 😁
+kenny9648 he's gonna KILL me...at least I say Chris during the video!
So do all PinBots have that high pitched buzz?
It would be neat to have the displays half red and half blue. I have seen someone do this to their machine
+GALACTICGAMES maybe we'll do it on another Pinbot one day!
That alien star looks like its going to be awesome
+dvddmc We HOPE it turns out nice!
Good collectors game
Todd, you mentioned that you had sold that Pin Bot 25 years ago. I was just wondering... how long exactly has your business existed? I'm a brand new fan. Discovered your page about a week ago or so.
Started in 1979...so we are in our 37th year of operation! Glad you found us! Watch some of our old videos which show our beginnings!
number one on my list
Great intro to a great game. The close-up video with the music was a very nice touch. Pinbot is a favorite of mine too, but I think Galaga is better than Galaxian. Awesome work!
+Angel Rosa Thank you!
im here todd
I own a pinbot, but most of the 7 segment displays are gone. Do you know any good replacements?
We sell used displays in our But It Now here sale.tntamusements.com
I much prefer Bride of Pinbot, but that's probably because I am terrible at the original Pinbot.
You should do a video about your favorite pinball machines; you've played them all, haven't you? ;-)
+Shoddy Workmanship I I have now sold 2 of my 4 pinball machines...only have my Funhouse and Class of 1812 games! Todd
TNT Amusements Inc Thanks for replying! What do you like about Class of 1812? That one's never grabbed me.
Todd! was that another broken vortex ramp? is it possible to find a pinbot without a broken ramp or a drooping resistors.
+Glen Damster sadly, they are hard to find...sometimes you can find the piece inside the game and cement it back in place.
+TNT Amusements Inc .. Todd, its almost thursday in south africa.. and still no video this week.. i need a video... please..... got my big screen ready..
+Glen Damster More are coming!!
+TNT Amusements Inc fantstic... thanks Todd. i look forward to them

Todd, Pin Bot is awesome!!!!!
+Arcade Hollywood :-)
Did the music come off a Sega genesis? Cause that's what it sounds like.
I do not know how they made the music...it was 1986 technology...
@@tntamusements do you guys have bride of pinbot and/or Jackbot?
You should have that leatherjacket on in all videos with the guys to B-)
+AndYAce indaface It would just upset them! I'm too old for it now!
Hi Todd I am desperately searching for a Pinbot Secondary Wiring Harness as my bridge rectifiers went bad and melted my cables. Any chance to get one from you awesome guys?
Regards, Michael
i have nothing extra...but try a post on the forum pinside.com its free to join!
TNT Amusements Inc Thank you very much for your response. I'll give it a try.
Out of curiosity , how much do these tend to cost with all the restorations and upgrades you do?
Typically these run between $2500 and $3500...depending on what we have to order in, or the extras people want!
This and Bride of Pinbot is one my "Must-Own" list, but they are not common here in Sweden, so the price will probably be double here :(
+Luzur I understand that many of the 90s and 80s pinball machines were actually shipped BACK to the US...to make room for the newer machines!
TNT Amusements Inc Well that and also that 85-95 machines are like crazy popular and handed around between the "inner circle" of the collectors with the following price-increase that entails, not a big chance for a "barnfind" Pinbot over here LOL

Love it
I like Pinbot is the best.
todd, you spelled anghelo wrong lol.... you are right though one of pinball's greats
Oops!!
How many games does Pinbot appear in?
+NotWatching666999 I am not really sure...Taxi for sure!
Jackbot?
Its 3 games
Pin*Bot, Bride of Pin*Bot, Jack*Bot & Taxi?
Pin-Bot: Energy transfer.
COLEY FOLEY SAYS: SMACK THE BALL SHOOT JUST HARD ENOUGH TO MAKE THE FIRST 100,000 SKILL SHOT----EVERY TIME... HAHAHA!
Perfect is right!
Thanks!
I own Funhouse. I would trade for a Pin Bot
Lol the rock video was great
"shoot for solar value"
he said thats one ball locked
put the waffle cookies on top of a hot mug of coffee and it melts the layer inside
+designerunderpants Yes...I got that texture when I continued with that waffle!
I don't think I've ever watched this one...@12:50 look how odd Steven looks without facial hair! I think he may have dropped weight since then too.
He looks better with the beard and he is thinner for sure.
is this "Bride of Pinbot"?
No, this is the original.
Is Pinbot a Cylon? LOL
How much?
This was when it sold.
You guys sold 69? Nice.
Would love to have one shipped to me in Canada! Exchange rate is terrible at the moment.
Wonder if u would consider a trade! Justin Trudeau and 50,000 refugees for the Pin Bot! (No returns)
+Michael Hype As long as you pay the tax and freight!! :-)
TNT Amusements Inc I'd do that deal in a second! lol
Really love watching your vids... keep up the good work!
And the care you put into the repairs is amazing. I believe the machines leave your shop way better than they ever left the factory.
4:53 …… is this a joke
The first day of the waffle cookie!
