    I had siacita last October...I went to Dr and got a script for Medrol and a muscle relaxer. My left leg quit hurting after taking the meds. Now the siacita is starting again. I did the exercises you were doing and it did give some relief....love watching you two...We learn a lot from you both...while being entertained...haha

    when I lay on my back I use small pool noodles I cut into shorter tubes. I put them perpendicular on each butt cheek. keep them there for 20 mins or so. it feels like a bruise on my cheeks sometimes after using them but goes away soon. it relieved the numbness and pain. it opens up that sciatic joint to relieve a pinch.

    I have had 7 back surgeries in the last 23 years. I have also been to more physical therapists than I can remember. This is the first time I've seen or heard of a couple of these ways. My daughter found your videos and we're both awake and watching at 6 am...we don't sleep much. Praying one of these works tonight. Thank you 😊

    Prayers for Bob! I have severe lumbar stenosis, bulging disks and SI joint dysfunction and it sucks. I refused a laminectomy and fusion twice. I use an SI belt and I’m seeing a neurologist for my peripheral neuropathy. I’m going to look into that roll.

    Gluten sensitive here, can't even be around it when it's cooking! I want to let people out there know that along with restless legs, pain in my legs (all the way down the back, to the foot) and joints that resembles sciatica is one of the FIRST SYMPTOMS for me when I come into contact with GLUTEN.
    Try going gluten free, if you suffer with this pain.

      I am the same as you. As soon as I gave up eating gluten my sciatic pain reduced by 90%.

    Recently got sciatica; perfect timing for this video! In my case, sleeping on my side with a pillow between the knees was the answer (#5). I'll try the ankle method next. Thank you for the hard work and videos.

    I got rid of my sciatica by getting 2 massages in the same day. Both massage therapists said lower back pain is caused by leg issues, and they both massaged my legs for an hour each.
    And another time, I fit sciatica again, and I got rid of it by doing "good mornings" and after awhile it went away

    OH WOW!!! I LOVE THE GIVE WAY! My mom needs a new mattress, on hers the metal springs already tore thru the the mattress material and we had to fill it with fabric since we have a LOT of small matches because she's a seamstress, anyway this is the perfect give way, even if I am not the one to win I want to say Thank you very much for this amazing give way, it will undoubtedly and tremendously help somebody. Fingers crossed it's my mom lol because a good mattress is expensive!! Ergo stuffing the mattress holes with pieces of fabric lol.
    Last but not least thank you for this tips, no doubt at least one of this will be helpful to my mom. I hate to see her suffer with her sciatica, there are times when I pray I could switch with her, take her sciatica on to me. Anyways, good luck on the raffle everybody.

    I was just complaining about my pains sleeping. I normally get a pillow and put it between my legs when sleeping. My pain came from a car wreck in 2010. I was diagnosed with fibromylagia. I need all the relief as possible.

    I love you guys. I am a 71 year old man who has been experiencing the pains you have described for over four months. My PCP prescribed Meloxicam, sent me for an Xray, gave me a sheet of exercise instructions and gave me a shot of something like KENALOG which didn't help. QUESTION: What is your opinion of the surgical option where a bone spur or stenosis is the cause of the pain? Thanks

    I don’t know how to categorize my back pain. Sometimes it’s stiff, sometimes it’s sore, and sometimes I feel a sharp pain when I move. I honestly hate my back. 😥

    i bought a massage gun from costco with a carry case and like 8 different tips, i have had it used it everyday for a year, never had to charge it yet, and it works so good! i highly recommend it to anyone! it was only 65$ as well!

    I have always wanted to get a leg wedge. I think I will proceed with that idea. I already sleep with three pillows so more is just not an option. I made my own sleep roll starting with a pool noodle in the center and then foam and then cotton quilt batting which I covered with muslin and them made removable and washable covers. Made one for my neck to but that was more difficult and tricky due to trial and error. Worth the effort though.

    I bought a seat cushion on Amazon which is for sciatic/coccyx pain. It has pretty much stopped my sciatica problems. I have one in the car too. You'd have to lower the car seat if you're tall as the cushion is quite thick (I'm short so not a problem for me lol). Bob, sending you lots of love. Emma x

    I got a Japanese floor futon and have been sleeping on that since March. It has made so much of a difference!

      If you are in a humid place, futon can easily grow mold. Important to pick it up daily, hang in the sun for a few hours (repeatedly)

    re: the sleep roll... There are "pool noodles" at The Dollar Store (now $1.25).
    They can be cut to length and are inexpensive.

    I’m lying on my bed doing my knee exercises. The one I’m doing now is where I use a big exercise ball. I put my foot on top and roll it forward, hold for ten, and repeat for 6 min. It helps with my knee flexibility.
    When I saw the demonstration with the legs up on the little table I wondered if the ball would work. Not for sleeping. I’ll have to rewatch that part to see if that was for sleeping

    My problem is the leg pain from sciatica won't allow me to lift my legs up. I have herniated disk & stenosis, my problem area right now is L5/S1 left side. Any suggestions?

    I miss the time when you were just sleeping on a hard floor no problem no aches no pains. now I sleep with pillows and supposedly comfortable bed....and it's a struggle. waking up stiff and mu scaitica not going away after 3 months 🙄

    I’ve been dealing with sciatica for over two decades and get epidural injections fairly often, I really like your videos guys and find them very helpful.

      I just got one of those injections this past Tuesday. But I don’t think it did anything. I’m not in enough pain that I would ever consider surgery. It’s just such an annoyance.

    I have tried laying on my sides using various thicknesses of cushioning to separate knees. Just cannot do it. My left hip aches like a toothache and my right is worse!
    The only way I can sleep is on my back. Even then it's difficult. And pain goes down my right leg even then. And I have non diabetic neuralgia of both feet and mysterious urinary incontinence. I asked my Doc if these symptoms are related to the pain in my back and legs...
    I'm not getting much help with this as my insurance must "approve" any tests.

    I bought the knee wedge. But I am 5 feet tall. Feels like the wedge is for taller people. I can’t rest my knees on it. It hits my lower calf, not my ankles. Not sure how to cut it down to adjust it. Maybe you could make a video about that.

    Thank you for all of your videos. I have been suffering terribly for a week with tingling to my foot.
    I saw you mattresses but cannot afford that but would a memory foam mattress be ok. Our bed currently is very firm and hurts areas. If so, what thickness - 1, 2 or 3 inches?

    Hi!
    I have a nerve damage (or what I think is nerve damage) left side of stomach(just next to bellybutton)and going up to the lowest left rib. It's been almost a year now. I can't run or do any serious exercise, because I get this stabbing pain in that area, and it goes away in two weeks when I don't do anything. Fortunately I can walk as much as I want. How can I get this fixed? It happened when I was doing some weird stretching on my back and legs facing the wall in front of me. And I went to the shower and I felt pain on the lower rib when moving around. I rested for a week, pain gone, and then I had to go to a endurance test(running on a treadmill) and I gave it my all, no pain after it or anything. But the next day and like 4 days after it my whole stomach area was numb and painful. So that's how it started last year. So the pain started on the rib, but I feel it more on the stomach most of the time. But when I exercise or lift something heavy, the nerve pain is felt on the lower ribs too. Thank you!
    Also it starts to hurt when I do any kind of stretching to it as well. Then I have to not do anything for 2 weeks, and the pain goes away. Sucks as well, I'm 21 and I love sports and training hard haha
    My doctor recommended me to take ibuprofen 3 times a day for 1 week. And she sent me to a physio therapist, where I haven't gone yet. Havent done the ibuprofen stuff as well, because I don't know if I should trust her.

    You guys are great. I've had sciatica pain for a week too long. Your exercises helped for a while but it's killing me after working. I can't wait to sleep with the sheets around d my waist. It definitely is worse in morning after side sleeping.

    I have sciatic pain and piriformis pain last 2021 untill last month I'm doing many exercises but didn't help me ,I watched here in RUclips about pain in my feet they I need to wear shoes that has an arch because sometimes that makes pain in your hips ,butts ,knee and feet ,so I try to put arch in my shoes , my sciatic pain gone ,all pain gone
