- This highlight is from when Matt Farah guested on Tom Talks with Tom Segura and they discussed what goes into operating an exotic car rentals operation. They first got on Tom's radar when he rented a Lamborghini to mess with his friend Bert Kreischer after a yoga class. How do these dealerships make money when some of these cars are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not, millions! It's much shadier than you'd think! Matt talks about what the most dependable exotic cars are and which ones are his favorite!

This whole clip I’m thinking “Rob Spaghetti” and sure enough, at the end… I’d say the majority of his videos were about someone being totally slimy with him. Couldn’t understand why he’d stay in that cesspool… now I know.
He's made a profitable business model out of owning fleets of exotic cars. Wouldn't you put up with a few greeseballs and lawyers to stay in that game?

Exotic cars are basically magnets for scum type individuals. Spaghetti is probably one of the better guys in the business and even he is fairly shady with a good deal of history that gets ignored.

it was smart putting these highlights up. I never got anything about matt being on your tom talks podcast, but i just got 2 different videos recommended to me of clips from when he was on. It's the hand picked 'factory ringer' that the manufacturer sends to magazines, youtube testers, etc. Every company has likely sent modified or tuned cars to the press at some point, but Ferrari is notorious for it.

Man that business is just like the Rent-to-own furniture business. We would rent average furniture to poor people for $20/wk. They would be paying $100 or more for a couch every month. And the business relies on them being late on payments. We make money there and then eventually repo the stuff and do it all over again. Then if it we can’t rent it we would sell it for cash and get what it was originally worth. TVs were the big money maker. Just sucking poor people in and taking their money. I hated it.
My room mate has rented all her furniture from rent a center. She's also rented two arcade games. And she complains about being broke. Poor people are stupid

So we are both right cause a car guy wouldn’t call a fiat an exotic cause it’s too broad a term. Just like a car guy wouldn’t call a corvette, a viper, or a ford gt an exotic because it makes no sense and would use a more appropriate term. Tom is way overestimating the value of those exotic cars. Those are all older models and salvage cars from the auctions they get dirt cheap. They get them for less than half the price
Lol depends what company buddy. Sure a lot of "exotic" rentals rent out old gallardos and old californias but there are also exotic rentals charging a premium for brand new inventory.
