  • I tried to use this Intel Arc A750 GPU with a previous budget pc build, but it required at least a 10th Gen Intel CPU. So I'm back this time with a i7 10700K and we are ready to test this GPU out!
Here's my favorite screwdriver kit: amzn.to/4b2QrsV
    Parts Used:
    MSI Z490M Edge Wifi Motherboard
    Intel i7 10700K
    16gb Crucial RGB DDR4 Ram
1TB Corsair NVMe SSD - amzn.to/4bqznNu (newer version)
    Intel Arc A750 GPU - amzn.to/4blmaFP
If I had to buy the parts from Amazon, I'd get these Ram and SSD instead:
    RAM: amzn.to/490RI2j
    SSD: amzn.to/42ssAPf

This was a great build vid. I think you covered some stuff early on that most people do not show. Looks great too and made it interesting to see the Arc GPU which i have to admit, I completely forget they exist most of the time 😂. Only thing i hate is the sticker on that CPU cooler lol. I hope more people find this vid. It's really well done.

Thanks. I’ve done a few build videos and sometimes I’m not sure how deep to go. Some are more “how to” videos, and some are more “let’s see how these parts do together” videos. Thanks for taking the time to watch and letting me know you enjoyed it!

Interesting video! I have found intel 11th Gen and older have been lacking in single thread performance recently, even compared to ryzen 5000 series. I went i7 10700 to R5 7600 and it gets completely blasted out of the water. Interesting video though and I love the fact these are not very talked about parts

Nice video! FYI 10700K does have integrated graphics support, just the KF or F variant do not. K just means it's unlocked for overclocking. Also, you might get even more of a performance bump with intel 11th gen and z590 or newer since those support pcie-gen4 and and intel arc cards are all gen 4, but probably not much different.
I would be interested if you tried out a hackintosh build with this cpu/mobo combo, as it was the last generation of intel apple supports, along with the dedicated graphics on the cpu. So you could theoretically get a working macOS install running on it with the help of OCLP, but of course no intel arc gpu support.

You’re right, lol. I’m so used to building with the cheaper “F” series CPUs, I’m almost on auto-pilot when I start recording.
And, no I didn’t try hackintosh on this. I haven’t messed with hackintosh-ing since the old Dell 10inch net books, lol. I have so many Mac’s around here I haven’t needed to. Thanks for watching, and thanks for catching my mistakes, lol.
