*Love it! Keeps the room very **Fastly.Cool** . The manual states it comes with a year warranty and 5 year part replacement. The compressor makes the typical sound...small price to pay for AC.*
do you happen to know where I can buy the led light replacement?
Great video. This grandmother just installed the ceiling fan by herself - never done anything like it!!
Great video, I'm not an electrician i was able to install the fan in about 30 minutes. Old houses in new york don't come with ground copper wire, i called my brother he is a retired electrician, he told me to attached the wire to the ceiling mounting bracket screw. Great video!!
Awesome step by step instructions! Thank you so much. No included directions necessary at all. Perfect. Technology today and you make a great combination!
I had a basic understanding of how the fan should work, but the video covered the missing pieces! Great video!
Wow one of the easiest way to replace Harbor Breeze ceiling fan with light . Thanks so much
Many months we could not use our ceiling fan-light. THANKS for your instructions and remote instructions!!!!
Thank you so much for posting this video! Our Mazon LED ceiling fan needs a new light kit; this video will help us install it (once we can find one to purchase!).
Great video...I was able to install the ceiling fan in less than 20 minutes and used nothing but this video. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. Great detail and explanations. Not 10 minutes of hey guys and stories.
That is one of the very best instructional videos I have viewed on RUclips. Keep it up, you really helped me out.
Great job on making the video easy to understand all the steps!
Thanks for showing how to install, real simple and fast.
Thank you! This helped me unistall the fan enough so that I could replace the receiver.
I just installed 2 of them. 💘 them and the ease of installation.
You're a saint for adding timepoints in the caption
I have 3 Mason fans to install. Installed one andGoing to install the remaining two today. Reviewed the video again-great job!
So this was *amazingly* helpful. I didn't use it to install the fan but rather to help me replace the receiver. It was *exactly* what I needed.
I see you're answering questions: my one issue was that the new receiver is a hair smaller than the old-- so I could only attach with one screw. I'm left concerned that it will vibrate loose from the fan. What would you do? Should I reopen and use electrician's tape? Super glue? Any other suggestions?
Very nice informative, concise, and well done instructional video! Thanks!
one of the best fans I ever bought! My mother Loves it and it was easy to install and looks cool also. The price is a little high but I guess you get what you pay for, I paid $174 in Dec 2020 at Lowes
Your did an amazing job of illustrating and explaining this installation , I did everything step by step and it took me about 20 minutes and everything worked at the end ... Awesome job .. and Thank you again !!!
Thanks so much! Was sooooo helpful for me saved a lot of time
Great instructions and easy to follow save my fear to do the installation. Thanks a lot
Good video. It worked well because I just paused it as I moved through the installation. It works just great. Thanks.
Lost my installation manual, thanks for this!
We used this video to install our Mazon and it worked perfectly! Wish we could post a picture. Thank you!
Did you have an odor when first installed and running?
Great video. Got my the fan up, no problems at all. Thank you!
Hello, did you have an initial smell after installed and running?
This was really useful. Thanks.
Thank you man! Saved me so much time.
Man, your video made it so easy to install! Thanks so much!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fantastic step by step installation. I threw out the confusing instruction manual and followed your video instead!
Thank you for the vid! Mine was wobbly and this helped me disassemble and fix the mount :)
Nicely done, just what I needed
Great video, I was successful in installing mines.👏👏👏
great helpful video! thanks!
Thank you for showing how to program the remote with new dip switch settings
The instructions are still sealed in plastic. Never had to open them! Your patient delivery covered everything needed for a painless install. Perfect. Thanks so much.
I installed a fan thanks to you.
This has helped so much. Thanks for this!!
Excellent video. Thank you very much!!
Thank you 🙏 so much your video was really helpful 🙏
This was helpful thank you! :)
Thanks. The instruction manual left out connecting the 9 prong wire clip. I hate taking things apart so I searched for a video.
I have that exact fan, can’t seem to turn off the light completely even when the switch is off. Tried trouble shoot and resetting, but light still stayed on but very dim.
Great video man. Can you tell if there is dip switches on the fan's receiver as well as on the remote?
I have 2 of these fans one the light works fan doesn't then my other light & fan stopped working after 4 months but light on remote still works but, won't turn on fan or light?
Any help please.
Do you have a video of fan balancing?
My Harbor Breeze fan is a 44"Cedar Shoals I bought, had NO instructions, can you help me?
I have 10 foot ceilings will the fan work well or do I need a bigger fan??
What if I have a red and black wire? Should I go with Red if I want to use it with the wall switch?
Is the black fan mount flush with the ceiling?
We are in a rental and I believe that the bracket itself in the ceiling isn’t leveled… if in fact that black mount is flush…
What to do…
Thank you for your help
Great video. Could you also show us how to replace the LED light bulb, just feel like the light is not bright enough even if it’s all the way. Thank you
Do you know where i can get a replacement glass?
Great job,
Great video
Can the fan be operated with a switch or only the remote?
thank you so much
very good video, thank you
Hey Great Instructructional Video!! Keep up the great work! Simple and Straightforward l! Even a democrat can install it now!!😅
Maybe you can answer a question I've been trying to get an answer to. My son's 3-blade Harbor Breeze ceiling fan still works but the lights went out. Is there a way to just replace the led panel or will I have to buy an entirely new ceiling fan?
Hello I am in the middle of installing this fan, I have a red wire coming out of the ceiling??? What do I do with that wire?
I have a red wire coming out of the ceiling, does this get attached to anything?
What if my Ceiling has white black and red? My light switch has 2 switches. I connected the wife on white and the black on black & cap off the red wire. The light works but there’s a delay in turning on and the fan & light are working off the same switch. Please help!
Awesome video ;)
Can you change the light bulb in this fan?
I have two of these fans. One operates quietly but one has a loud humming noise. What causes this?
To connect the 2 wires from new fan light switch to the fan/ceiling, it doesn't matter which wire goes to which?!?! (my light switch chain won't move at all,)
Is the light kit replaceable?
This does look pretty simple to do, great instructions. Can a angled mount adapter be used as well? Thanks in advance
Thanks for watching. This is a flush mount only fan and it should not be installed on an angled ceiling. It is not compatible with any angled mount hardware.
I was wondering the same question
I have the exact same fan and remote looks same except it doesn’t have the learn or reset button on it. Mine has the 4 dip switches and no other buttons on back near battery and I can’t pair up with my fan. Please help
I have 2 of these fans and one of the light works on the unit but the fan will not start. The fan are about 1 year old and it worked prior to just a few days ago. The fan is getting power because the remote will turn on the light.
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Will this fan work on a wall light switch (to turn light on/off) or will the light only turn on or turn off with the remote?
My question is similar. I bought 2 and had someone install them but I have 2 switches on wall that worked with old fan one controlled light and one fan. The Mazon doesn’t do that and I’m wondering if the person installed it wrong. Doesn’t seem right what if remote control gets lost the fan will always remain either on or off?...
I have a red wire in addition to the green (ground) and black (hot)coming out of my ceiling. The red was connected to a blue wire on the old fan and the black was connected to the black on the old fan. This fan has only black and white. I have two switches that controlled the light and fan separately in the old fan. Do I connect both the red and black from the ceiling to the single black on the fan?
I don't think that's a good idea but I'm literally dealing with this exact issue now. I'm trying red first and will Cap the black.
U can't use the fan without the remote?
Wish this discussed how to get replacement parts such as the LED light assembly
Our fan is four years old and is now turning off the light on its own without touching the remote or wall switch. Any suggestions please?
I am trying to install a Harbor Breeze Sail Stream ceiling fan but the instructions requires a cable to go around a wooden support structure in the ceiling as a added safety feature. The cable normally does nothing but keeping the fan hanging in case when the fan (with or without the electrical outlet box attached) fall off for whatever reason. I've watched a few instructional videos and none showed installation of the cable. Is that step absolutely necessary? The fan weights about 20lb.
Hopefully you saw the reply for this question on the Paddle Stream video.
I have this fan but has a random clicking sound only when it’s on high velocity. It’s not consistent but it’s there. Any idea what it could be? Thank you!
Sounds like a loose part somewhere, maybe a wire nut tapping inside the housing.
This might be a stupid question, I’m replacing an old ceiling fan with light fixture and installing this one. I have a blue wire to use for the old light, since this is now an led the blue does not matter, correct? Just wire nut it and leave alone?
Same question.
But I have white ,black ,and red wires which one is the hot wire
Have this fan , and the light works fine but the fan blades stopped spinning, there is no humming nose. I've rewired all connections and still no luck , any thoughts on what it could be?
I just installed three of these. One made a very faint hum but the fan would not turn. I took off the light and jiggled the large snap connector below the fan and also that little capped wire. Fan started to work so I put the light back on and left it alone. It's a little worrisome but it's working 2 days, fingers crossed.
What if you want to control the light with a wall switch? Why is this never covered by Harbor Breeze nor is it made clear anywhere which fans will allow the light power to be passed through and which cannot, such as this model? It's really low standard for a home improvement company that passes itself off as "experts". Apologies for the negative tone, but I've had it with asking for information on these either in-store, online, or on the phone and being treated like I asked the most complicated, ridiculous question. It's pretty straightforward... many homes have separate switches for fan/light... how do you deal with that in your model lines and on each model? Needless frustration to me trying to sort this out myself without information to go by.
Yeah, I have the same questions which is a very practicable electrical setup with no response from the mfg.
Typical Lowes and Home Depot suppliers
So what did you do
Red wire from the ceiling. What do I do with that
I can’t seem to remove the cap. Our light isn’t working. Do you have suggestions on how to remove it? Based on your video, it didn’t seem to be a light that needed replacing.
Some tips for removing the glass shade: Gently tap around the edges of the shade as if you were knocking on a door. This may help to loosen it up a bit, then you can unscrew the shade from the light kit pan. Use rubber gloves and hold the light shade around the edges and push up slightly when twisting it off.
The original version of this fan had a standard bulb before being updated to an LED module. If the LED module is not working, you will need to call Harbor Breeze customer service to get a replacement. Their number is - 1-800-643-0067
Anyway to bypass the remote?
I can’t disconnect the two molded wires no matter what I do. What is the trick?
Never knew this had a dimming feature . Made a huge difference when I brightened it up.
Thank you
it looks like the outlet box in my ceiling is plastic. Do I need to install a different one? I can see that there is a wood block above it.
Hard to say without seeing what your ceiling looks like but I used Madison Electric Products MSBFAN Fan Support 50/ lb, to mount my fan
I got this all together and wouldn't work , the wire coming out of my ceiling also has a red wire and I'm thinking that's why, what do I do with the red wire ??? Thank you
I got the same fan and installed it years ago but now I have a problem. The light flickers, sometimes it stays on, other turns it self off and so on. The fan it self work normally. Any suggestions?
I am just as of today having this problem answer is time for a new light kit good luck finding one though
I have a Red wire hanging from the ceiling along with 1 Constant Black Hot wire and a White wire (and ground). 2 switches on the wall for the light and fan. Instructions say to attach the red to the Blue Wire, but the Blue wire is occupied on both ends in this fan. What do I do with the Red wire? Black with Black, White with White, and Green with Green and capping off the Red wire didn’t work. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you
I have the same issue. Nothing seems to work.
Connect white to white and black to red. Cap off black wire. Works perfectly.
White to white. Black to red. Cap off black
Worked great. Everything controlled by the remote wall switch can still turn of and on
great job just wanted to know how to change the remote because i have 2
Before changing the remote, I would call Harbor Breeze customer service 1-800-643-0067. They are pretty good with troubleshooting. Sometimes, the remote just needs to be paired or it's something else. If a new remote is needed, they will be able to walk you through the process.
Has anyone experienced an odor when running fan after initial installation?
I need to replace the light bulb. I think watching this video may help . i will let you kinow
I had the same problem, I need to replace the light bulb, it’s just not bright enough. Were you able to to switch the light bulb yourself?
I only have 2 wires from ceiling how do i wire
What do I do with the red wire coming out of the ceiling? Just cap it.?
That's what I did and it wouldn't work I'm having the same problem right now, did you figure it out? If so what do I do lol I'm stuck
I dont have electrical tape do you really need it
I have this fan and while the power is on it makes a humming noise. Blades seem balanced. When the power is off and the blades are slowing down it doesn’t make noise. What is causing the humming noise?
Following, having the exact same problem
@@DeeitsMeStudio I think it was the light cover. We took off the light cover and the fan is pretty quiet. Not the cleanest look but...
@@edorofish Thank you 😊
