I saw miles kane support beady eye at the royal albert hall last friday. He was very good probably the 2nd best support act i have ever seen behind kasabian supporting oasis in 2009 :-)
Last time i heard this song was literally 2 years ago when i saw him live, i heard it on a bar last night and it has been in my mind all day!
Music taste brought me here. This is a really catchy song, because of the tone, fucking hell, catchier than Darude Sandstorm.
Seen these guys three times now, first time was in a tiny venue in Newcastle, then a year later in a slightly bigger venue in Darlo, then a couple of years later crammed in a tent at Glasto with 3000 other people. Amazing, just... amazing.
in my opinion, i think he's the best thing that's happened to the music industry since the beatles. real lyrics that have real meaning. none of this stupid stuff that tops the charts, like lil wayne "rapping" about hoes and drinking. miles kane, in my opinion, is the best music artist to ever have lived. i really look up to him and he inspires me to keep making music of my own. and this is coming from a 13 year old.

If “imperial” means “empire”, then I would guess that it would refer to Britain (which was basically an empire during the colonial age) which uses the metric system. I’m probably just mixed up XD
I remember hearing this song on Forza Horizon 2 whenever I was vibin on the garage modding my cars in that game. This is one of the songs I remember a lot from that game. The OST that that game had was absolutely legendary. Sweet memories from 2014, good times! 😊 ❤️
