My guess is that Chinese companies will take the AI lead! Because I recently learned about Alibaba's EMO AI which seems really impressive and then my assumption is that this is only the tip of an iceberg. The Chinese tech industry is like a gigantic machine with enormous momentum. The Western tech companies, even the large ones, are still only like separate silos, which is the old economic model compared to China's massively integrated economic model.
You need to know, almost all scientific research like battery and A.I, always exist chinese name. It mean they dominating the race, hold cutting edge tech

I found that the Chinese tech industry often downplay their results until they have something to release on the market. So it seems that there is a tendency in the West to hugely underestimate the Chinese tech industry or even to completely ignore it. Elon Musk even laughed at BYD some years ago. Who is laughing now when BYD has surpassed Tesla in the EV market? And look at the price/performance in robots for Unitree's robot dog Go2, which is fairly advanced yet has a very low price. I doubt that any Western company can match that.

Saying that humanoid robots will not make our lives better makes you lose all credibility in my view and I don’t see you adding anything of value to the subject.
