Nissan needs to release a new Xterra Pro4-X based on the Frontier….and don’t forget the 6-speed manual transmission.
If this is in the works, I have a feeling they are going to wait closer to when Toyota announce their new 4Runner. A SUV version of the Frontier will sell like hot cakes right now.
And with a VK56 or VR30DDTT Option!
They don't even make the new Frontier in a manual... ur just gonna have to keep dreaming about a new Xterra with stick.

Great overview. Decided on getting a new 23 Pro-4X after watching your earlier reviews.
Even the $29,500 version of the NISSAN FRONTIER shows that is one of the best vehicles on the road in the 2020s a minimum of B.S. and not oversized.
That’s a sweet truck with no gimmicks like twin turbos, still easy to work with for the average person if you’re mechanically inclined.
You act like the average person can't touch a turbo car 😂.

But for real, today’s cars are a lot different than these, maintaining the old school design is much more user-friendly for the average person.
You may be able to work on turbo cars for sure, but not everyone has that luxury . Plus parts are readily available vs turbo cars.

I have a 2022 Pro 4x and Love it, Didnt need a full size but still wanted some natural power. Nissan did great with these things.

What's curious to me about this one is that the new 24 Pro4X Frontiers are supposed to have matching lava red stitching and trim on the leather interiors. It was the 22-23 that kept it plain. Overall great edition, but spot on that interior needs to pop more

Does the steering wheel wheel tilt and telescope? Tall people issues. At 6ft7 I read that it didn’t which is concerning.
A retuned motor would have helped. Looks nice though.

I think it should have some kind mod on motor more hp in this one I got 33 on f150 and u can tell difference in the small ones so it takes some power 315 hp ant bad but 10k not worth it
Beautiful truck. But for 50K it would be nice if the screen was atleast 10 or 11 inches. As well has having more red stiching on the seats saying Nismo

Does it have a front locking diff? How high is the suspension lift? Are the struts and shocks Bilsteins like the regular PRO 4X or something like Fox or electronic controlled dampers like a ZR2 Colorado? Dude, you basically showed me my existing PRO 4X 2023 model. Minus the badges, coin and plaque by the shifter. It's just smoke and mirrors for another 10 grand USD they can keep it. My 2023 PRO 4x is the same thing.
I'm glad someone besides me gets it. 10k extra is just a money grab for the uninformed.

All those buttons and switches line up perfectly with your left knee. Sure to set them off when you don't mean to.
My knee never comes close to those buttons and I’m not a short dude either.

I know a properly cared for Nissan natural V6 will cruse through 300k without much fuss, The Turbo 4 banger everyone else rolls out in this segment feels bound for big trouble well before 300k.

That's a lot of truck for the $ especially when compared to top trim competitors also there's a lot to be said for naturally aspirated V6 a real automatic transmission (Mercedes designed licensed) & tried & true hydraulic power steering all of which improves long-term reliability factor all that in without being too biased with brand loyalty this midsize checks alot of boxes the others don't
I’d stick to the regular Pro 4X and add just the roof rack, lights and exhaust. Now I gotta price that out.
I want to see this go head to head against the Tacoma trail hunter and this. That would be fun to see

That looks like a 2022 just based on the inside. In 2023 they changed over to orange accents and stitching and they got rid of the 12v outlet in the center consol. And I don't think this is something you'll be able to order from the factory, this is something you would do after delivery. And that sticker plate is such a lazy touch.

The no glare black on the hood, GLARES! Cus it's shiny still, not as bad as paint but there's still a lot of glare.

Takes less than 10k to do a full Titan Swap with 3 way adjustable remote reservoir shocks and if you actually go offroad thats the way to go. Otherwise this is a good option if you dont want to void your warranty and are more concerned with looking like you go offroad instead of actually going offroad.
Got rid of my Fortier. 2012.
It had 230,040 miles. It was just too old. Never cared to take care of it much. It was still running. But looking to get a new one.

I ve got the Frontier before and it last me 150k miles things start failed fall a parts. I went with The Tacoma and 17 years now and close 300k miles and still rock not turning back.
This truck look ok, but I just priced a 2024 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 ExtraCab in Sonic Red. A really HOT Truck!!

When they have to continually emphasize, this is not just an appearance package or not just a graphics package really makes you question, well what is it? I just wish when they do these 10 grand packages 15 g packages. There’s actual things done to the engine the transmission the suspension whether it’s a truck whether it’s a sports car performance car whatever

No heated mirrors, no electric switch to open the rear window and no clock on dash ?
Does in fact have heated mirrors. Clock is digital on screen and dashboard. After Toyota’s major fuckup on the electronic rear windows on Tacos, most manufacturers reserve those for full size trucks and suvs, due to the needed space for the window regulator & components.
You’re pretty funny. They change the engine, but it’s no more fuel efficient. It has more horsepower, but the same amount of torque as the old engine. They put a nine speed automatic, but completely eliminate the manual transmission. The chassis and suspension are the same as the old ones, it’s a great truck now because it’s been a great truck for the last 17 years

2024 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X NISMO OFF-ROAD Parts Forsberg Special Edition Crew Cab 4X4!
Looks like a Pro4X with some different wheels and strip package and roof rack, the Pro4X actually looks better inside.
Except for the upgraded Cat-Back exhaust and real Beadlock wheels (wasted money), no way this cosmetic package is worth an extra $10k on top of a Pro-4X price. Not even a factory Brushguard or hard Tonneau cover for the bed is available.
No front lockers on this edition if you are going to make a special edition it should have more off road capability it also should have a winch on it I’m torn between this and the gmc canyon elevation it would have been nice to have grab handles on the pillars in the front those seats should have lumbar controls for the price of that truck no air ducts in the back seat for 50k this package is not worth it
Folks, in other parts of the world, Nissan & Toyota rules, especially trucks. Outside of USA/North America in general, Nissan trucks can handle some nasty roads that other brands' names wouldn't last. Nice job by Nissan with this Forsberg edition, I don't know if I would pay $50K. I do like the color combo with the wheels setup 👌🏾👍🏾

The competitors are offering 33" tires with their off road trucks. You did not mention the tire size when you told us how importance of tires for off road. I went to Car & Drivers site and they report that this model has 265/70R-17 tires which are the same 31.6" tires on the PRO4X. I'd buy the Pro4x and go to the after-market for a lift and 33" tires - spend LESS and have a more capable truck then this styling exercise
You might want to pay attention when he's at the front driver's side wheel. At about 3:33 he talks about the the tires.
@@reloadNshootYES at 3:33 he states that they are Yokohama "off road tires" and also states that it has 17" wheels BUT HE DOESN'T state the size of the tires in this video- perhaps YOU should pay attention before you type
$10k seems like a lot for air bubbles in the decals and a stick on badge by the shifter that fits poorly. Would be interested in knowing specifics on the suspension changes since that is what matters most.

Tacoma lost me with the turbo nonsense. I really like this new frontier, its hard to give up my GX460 but if I ever get a truck itll be Nissan this time. Frontier just seems like a nobrainer. I heard the newer titans have some issues though.
I guarantee my Tacoma SR base model has seen more off road than any TRD pros, At4x, tremor, etc. You don’t need any of these 20,30k factory options to off road your truck.
Lovely but I hate the no electric power steering. I telescopic steering wheel. The Frontier still is built off the 24 + years old platform/frame. For $5,000 more you can get a Ranger Raptor V6 Turbo.😊
