This video is part of a series that focuses on generative modular ambient. In these videos I'll be using my Eurorack modular system to create meditative patches that breathe and float. I am especially interested in generative processes, allowing the modular system to "play itself" and create slowly evolving textures that have no beginning and no end.

Patch Notes:
Oxi One is sequencing Rings. A sample of the playback has been recorded into the Nebulae, where it is being looped, pitched up an octave, but time-stretched a bit. The live sound is being fed into the Arbhar, which is periodically sampling the audio and playing back grains. The dry/wet mix is being cycled with a slow LFO. Sounds flow into the Nautilus for delay and then into the Starlab for a bit of shimmer and reverb.
This patch meanders and drifts. I like the atmosphere: It is light, bright, and spacious.
