My Niece is a big fan of Marcus. I just sampled his new album... sounds kinda soul or mo-town like... which is alright. This here reminds me of the Allman brothers. And he plays Jazz too. That's a whole lot more than most musicans these days.

Got to meet Marcus in 2023 at one of his shows. The total package. I'm glad to see he's back to writing 'his' style of song and hope it continues. The new album is like a Carolina Confessions II, but possibly even better.

I randomly discovered Marcus King a few years back, when I came across his video of "Dyin" and his performance of "Summertime" with Billy Strings. I don't know which song I discovered first. I discovered them both artists around the same time.
I'm not heavy in pure blues, but I love his song "Dyin".

Marcus King is great. Why is the camera man focused on his face?? Show the guitar playing!! It’s a guitar channel. If a man sits down to play guitar, you want to see him play guitar not a close-up of his face. Please

I cant get close to his sound. Hard to emulate.
And the videos like this one and the guitat moves video dont help much. He never explains diddly.... which kinda maintains that mystery and makes it fun

His story about the dog is complete BS. I know a girl that was their personal assistant for a little while and they left that dog in obedience school for like a year. Marcus didn’t even want to deal with going to pick the dog up because they had to spend a day or two learning commands. He never planned on having it as an emotional support dog. He only came up with the idea after seeing Tyler Childers bring his Belgian Malinous on tour last year. Which Tyler doesn’t do anymore because it was such a pain for him and everyone on his bus. Marcus is such a poser.
I know a girl that knows a guy that knows another guy that knows a girl that knows a dog that is this dog’s friend and they say differently.
