with the recent 4wd crap regarding tracks being close. maybe a video or how you plan a trip. gaining permits. and 4wd techniques not causing damage to the land?
Love the work you've done to the beast, I picked up a 1996 petrol mod GQ 4 years ago and I can't fault it drives very well and I enjoy the reliability of it and back up with spare parts, my next job is the seats for sure!
Love my old 1990 GQ 4.2 diesel. Maybe change tools and cooking gears over to the others drawers. Method of madness, when your door table is down, you can't get other cooking gear out.
@@beyondbackwater4933 in Australia the government is in the process of banning 4x4's and all cars that aren't electric actually. So the manufacturer's can't take a hit like that by introducing the shortly banned.
I have a Nissan patrol GQ. It's very big also it has a safari snorkel and a strong titanium bull bar the bull bar is very strong it's hard to break it protects my suv from big giant crashes and the air bag was set everywhere it never gets stuck on mud and it never breakdown it sounds like a modified Navara but its very loud and very disorted
+TheLach89 Well not really....I mean I have done the ufi turbo...cross country intercooler 3 inch lift etc etc...but it is now time to look at sorting out some small dents and a respray as the paint is faded....so I have made the decision to keep this vehicle and not upgrade to newer.....and seeing your GQ just made me happier about my decision.
what a mint GQ they are like hens teeth in that condition, I did see a GQ safari advertised with 22,000km and no mods on the other side of the country which sold in the blink of an eye and even that didn't look as neat as this

Such a cool truck. Looks alot like a short roofed Isuzu Trooper from the 90's. I would love to get one of those to add to my Nissan collection- 95 Pathfinder/Terrano, 07 Titan and my 12 Armada. Maybe put the 5.6l V8 with custom exhaust and a cold air intake. Thanks for showing! Cheers

It has giant springs and the most annoying part of my patrol it bounces a little bit
It look very terrific because I drived my patrol and everyone thinks I'm going to squash them but I'm not going to

you never know as a mechanic ive worked on many td42 patrols with high mount greddys, kinugawa and garrett turbos alot of them were oil cooled only.
