Nice truck - understatedly witty guy too. Like the comment about springs on the car not on the ground!👍
What a f***ing awseome setup, can't let my gu see this otherwise she is going to get jealous.
This Is a well done setup. This dude knows what he doing👍👍
That is an exceptionally well laid out vehicle. Great attention to detail.
That Patrol is a weapon! Wish we had them in the US. Thanks for showing it!
Hundreds of them here in Ireland , farmers love them for pulling big cattle trailers, get them for small money here
you can really appreciate how much money he's put into this car but also how many hours he's spent perfecting his rig to how he wants. Great episode, so much detail to take in!
Thanks mate 👏🏻
@@exploringaus3075 who made that max trax holder?
The perfect gu. Bloke has spent alot of money but has done it right the first time and that thing will last reliably for years and go anywhere off road!!! s4+ gu's are bloody good!
Thanks mate 👏🏻
Beautiful rig!!! We don’t have these in the States unfortunately. Very clean and well thought out. ❤️🐞
They say nothing's perfect but this rig may be the exception to the rule, such a good set-up!
Love how he doesn't pop up out of nowhere anymore, really enjoyed the whole vid!
Not a patrol guy but this thing turns me on 🥰 so neat clean and functional
What a smokin’ build! Absolutely stunning.
Thanks Ronny.
What a great young man with a great build.
So much attention to detail. Great build!
Thanks for the Show .
Awesome to see a set up like this 🙌🏽
What a wicked vehicle. One of those enviable 4wd's. "Not a lot going on" as in neat, but it has everything.
Glorious electrical work and love the storage!
Ronny A tip for the Coleman Stove..i have a Coleman stove - 2 burner - fold-n-go which had the same problem of it's on or off.....take the jets out of the stove ,you will find them caked in grease clean the grease off, replace the grease with rubber grease on that O-ring and you will be able to turn that sucker down low..no burning.
Outstanding clean setup 👍🏽
What a bloody well thought out car. Good onya Scott!
Awesome set up on the patrol man
That’s a sweet setup love the less clutter philosophy. Just been stripping out clutter on mine and getting more gear hard wired and installed
Very well planned out Rig well done
Favourite Mod: Whiskey Installation in Rear Draw 👍😎🥃
yes a very tidy set up. Well done Scott, you've inspired me to tidy my 12v system up.
👍🏻👍🏻
That is one of the coolest setup I have seen..Very much detailed planning on it 😎
That's how it's done ! Sick rig !!
Wow.. that is one of the best set up’s and so well done. Good on ya!
Thanks mate 👏🏻
Nice footage Ronny, really well shot. Nice Patrol too, cheers mate.
wow wow wow wow this is absolutely amazing built , love the young kids work
Been waiting for this one!
His skills as a sparky really show. Amazing setup.
Top class as always👍🏻
Woweee wicked set up 🤙🏼
Take a drink every time he says yeah
You’d be pretty wasted, a camera in your face being asked questions on the spot is daunting 😂
Awesome build
This is a dream rig
Like watching your episode, awesome great work.
Nice work mate👍 bloody awesome setup
Love to have one here in Canada. That’s a nice polished ride mate.

I liked the intro!
Sharp young man, he can lead an expedition!
Congratulations on the way you have set up your truck and upgrades. You’ve given me many ideas. Probably the best patrol I’ve ever seen.
Appreciate the feedback 👍🏻
GO the GU nice rig, Love my Patrol
Clean setup...nice guy...he knows hhat he is dooing...
Dream gu, perfect in every aspect
Gonna keep an eye out if he ever sells this rig! Beautiful set up.
Such a great idea with the Maxtrax mount, i was holding mine in that position the other day thinking of how to make a bracket. Nice bus mate!
Great review and what an inspiring rig. I am now thinking of a similar setup for myself after this video.
Yeah great rig!!!!
One of the best overland rig well dome
Really nice rig.
Very neat rig this one 👌🏻
Beautiful rig
Very nice 4x4 there, and a lot of work and care 👍 put in. Keep up the good work.
Btw, I request another (awesomely) modified BT-50 for this series 👍 thanks. I'm sure they have their groups there in Aus.
this is a nice rig!
After seeing this video I bought a can crusher, what a pisser, you got to get one Ronny.it is great (good talking point)
absolutely beautiful setup for a turbo Barra swap ;)
This thing is badass! Such an awesome build, I love how clean and functional everything is. Also, I really wish we got these in the states, Nissan doesn't give us anything worth off roading anymore.
Ronny walking through the bush: "whats this? A kettle in it's natural habitat?"
well set up rig 👍
Great modified
I think you can fix the lack of adjustment on the taps on Coleman stoves by pulling them apart and cleaning them and reassembling using Forester hyheat graphite grease as the lubricant.
Awesome rig. 80 series owner here and this patrol is immaculate!! The 12v setup is unbelievable, so neat. If ya lived in brissy id happily drop my cruiser off to ya for a 12v setup. 🤙🤙
Jeez some $$$ spent on this very nice rig but one of the best 4bys to do it on.
That’s sick for a patrol
Nice!
I want one of those maxtrack brackets that's such a good idea
Did you manage to get hold of one?
@@Aussiecamper nah mate. ill probably just end up making my own. there is a similar version by a company called mean mother. theyre sold on ebay. but they mount to the spare wheel carrier itself
On or your best modifieds ronny, great car great set up. Scott set the standard high
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Amazing he did all those mods in 18 months, he must be a workaholic !
What a lovely setup . . . . . For a patrol 😁👌 yeah nah truly well setup rig 👍👌😁 can crusher is funny as FK 😁😁 I've thought about adding it in somehow but haven't quite gone there yet 👍👍 love it
I like this particular episode ronny, simple yet very effective
Similar to the bj60 episode humble dudes👍
So neat 👌🏻
Very nice mine is an 06 still working on it just have to deal with the soot at the moment had 3 complaints the other day to much black smoke love to hear more about it engine wise.
Awesome set up. I find it ironic that an auto lekky, with a heap of electrical accessories chose a Td42 because of its lack of electronics 🤔
Man what a set up. Cheers for showing the Rig. You might of even turned Ronny I reckon...
I love this
Yeah yeah
Beautiful vehicle
Another awesome video
I thought for sure you would have an 80 on the 80th modified ;)
Good
Ronno!!! check out the rally land cruiser walkaround I just did its a sweet ride.
Wow.
I want my old second 20 years old patrol with some of those toyzzz
Dude that hand shake sike had me dying.
Lmao
As a Toyotaguy I reales like this Patrol👍👍👍 well done, mate
Thanks mate 👏🏻
Just a quick not on the placement of the AM/FM antenna. Having it that close to the UHF antenna will affect the performance of the UHF radio. The AM/FM antenna will be acting as a parasitic array that is out of tune with the UHF and may be affecting the tuning/SWR of the UHF antenna. an out of tune antenna can either damage the radio or force the radio to lower its power output to stop it damaging itself.
Thanks mate I’ll look into it
Not to mention it plays hell on the AM/FM receiver. Eventually it’ll burn the receiver out rendering it useless.
Coleman stove mod a easy one to make your stove simmer
👊👏💪this is mean
🎥 👍
I had 33 trail grapplers on a gu ute and got only 25k and they were on the depth gauge. Loved how they drove but life was not good, now on 2nd set of MT MTZ p3 tougher and heavier contruction tyre and I get about 40 k out o last set but I was hard on them
would love to have one like this .....
Dream rig. Is there anything the guy doesn’t know about Nissans and off roading? Probably born on the back seat of one.
😂😂 thanks mate
SIKRIG!
Nice setup, love the back set up. Some really knows what he is doing.
But camera work is a bit shaky on this trip, to much back and forth :O
Thats a competition winch "high" speed.. next mod double motor the winch. Indonesia, malaysia use this for events
Awsome vid. Awsome ride. Definitely took some tips.
😂😂 great comment Ronny. “ good cooker but they’re shit” ok I added shit but you know what I mean 😂
LED globes in the standard reflector head light housing paired with 4 inch lift equals blinding everyone on the road. but hey at least you can see better 👍 apart from that tough rig
Adjust them correctly and you don’t have that problem never get flashed as I have adjusted them against a wall
