You talking about going out and re painting your experience means so so much to me! I had a big dependence on weed and when I got sober I felt so lost because I thought I would never be able to hang or go to places since there might be weed. Recently tho I was at a friend's house party and people were smoking outside but I manged to do positive self talk and positive coping! I was at first a bit triggered and tempted but I stayed inside and talked to people to distract myself and it worked!! I feel very proud of myself and much more confident about my sober future.

As a guy trapped in a teenage girl’s body, you were really the reason why I felt it was okay to come out “late” as trans myself. It was genuinely so refreshing as a young transgender person to see you thrive and be who you are post-O2L. You were and always have been my favorite, so seeing you embrace your true self eventually made me feel so much better about who I was. While you said that you have no regrets, I think we all wish that coming out was easier no matter what circumstances there may be. However, your journey made me feel better about starting mine and that’s something no one can take from you regardless of your hardships with coming out. You helped people. You helped me. From the bottom of my heart: thank you. Love ya. ❤️❤️🫶

Less than 3 minutes in and Trevi is absolutely preaching to us, this is incredible, whether you’re sober or not I think that’s a valuable lesson to learn in life, there’s a lot to be afraid of sometimes it’s more powerful to confront the fear head on than add it to our ever growing list of triggers and anxiety! That is what a powerful and strong woman is capable of! ❤

Generally there’s an undiagnosed psychological aspect to a persons addiction. But not ,always.

Thanks for touching on the importance of “mentally ill”. I lost two years of my life to depression. I was in bed, wasn’t working, had no self-esteem, etc. It’s not “trendy”. It’s debilitating and something I work through regularly.

11:53 THANK YOU SO MUCH. I struggle with severe anxiety, depression and a personality disorder. Some days are great, some days are brutal for me. The internet made me feel safe and like I could be open with my struggles to others.. Yet I have only ever been ostracized when I have asked for help or been honest about my mental health. I feel like people online just use it as slang almost, and on the other side of the coin- people are starting to notice how mental health terms get thrown around so they are more skeptical when it comes up… Like people sometimes don’t believe me & try to argue that I’m not this or that, I’ve just been on tiktok too long. Yet I was diagnosed before tiktok even came out! Idk I hope this makes sense but I truly feel more isolated than ever when it comes to mental health.
Kate and Trevi - I don't know if you will ever see this, but I need to let you know how influential you are for me. I am 19 years old, a junior in college, and I have been sober for one year and three months (Dec 27th 2022). Being in college, sober, has been the hardest decision that I continue to make every single day. I found the podcast through Tana and I am a relatively new fan of you guys and Tana and the whole friend group, but wow- i really resonate with you guys and your sobriety and its SO inspirational to me. this is the first time I've EVER heard young, pretty girls talk about the struggles of sobriety and i cannot explain how appreciative i am. i struggle with my sobriety everyday, and while i've managed to stay sober, its not something I pride myself in (yet). i feel ashamed and like i'm a failure especially because i had to get sober before I even turned 21. but hearing you guys talk about sobriety and about still being able to have fun while sober makes me feel proud of myself and like i can still be a hot fun girl even if i'm not drinking. i love you guys, keep doing what you're doing, thank you ❤ IWNDWYT

The 1st few minutes really hit me.💛
Trevi, your speakigg voice is soooooo relaxing to me! Like Idk how to say this without it soundig insulting, because I was 100% invested in everything you were sharing..but as somebody with CHRONIC anxiety, for a few minutes a bit more than half way through, you put me OUT. I literally sleep an inhumane amount of time, so more than a few minutes for me is like an eigth amount of the time I get each night (generally two hours.) But yeah I'm 35 now and have had insomnia since I was around 4-5, so yeah. Perhaps I'll start listebibg to your voice every night and see if it helps me sleep longer? 😂 but no worries, I went back and heard everything you said. I would LOVE it if you made some solo videos of just you talking for a few hours!😚😘😊😁😃
as someone who works in pharmacy, it happens all the time to patients when their copays go up! i always recommend patients to call before picking up so they avoid issues before picking up.
I won’t lie, I clicked on this for the ol2 headline but stayed for the full video. I can honestly say that this is one of the most genuine, real podcast out there. I love the talking points, how you’re so real with each other and how you both actively listen to what each other is saying. will definitely be sticking around for future podcasts🤍
