These cars weren't the fastest on earth. The driver enjoyment is really high though. It's a tiny, lightweight and high revving go-kart. The sound of vtec never gets old. Especially with the B18R
B-Series engines especially the type R/Gsr’s have always had issues shifting into 3rd at very high RPM. I think it may be a syncro issue. I’ve experienced the same in my Gsr

If he doesn't love this car enough to keep it, an ITR would do absolutely nothing for him IMO considering this Em1 at this point is basically an ITR shaped like a Civic.

That right onto marion county road right off of Grays airport is the best spot for a Honda to rip. This is such a cool vid man hope to see you on the road one day back in Fl!!
At least it is better with mostly OEM mounts. I hope you get a chance to drive a stock Integra Type R (DC2R). It is better than a stock EM1 Si (SiR) in every way. It is also slow but feels fast and fun. You basically built one with sound deadening and stereo but minus the ITR steering rack
Smogging this thing in CA is going to be harder than you think considering the entire swap now being OBD1. I'll let you know when I win it what I end up having to do but, I already know from current and previous cars that it ain't gonna be fun.
Honestly, would freaking love the car to keep for a while. I don't know if I could part it out and sell. So much was put into it that it would be a crime to do that. But we are all different. Cheers!

Funny how these cars need momentum to really go. A WOT pull off the line in first and then hard shift into second really makes the car move a lot more than a straight pull in second or third. And yes that on how horrible solid motor mounts are. People forget the two worst mods. That and a super loud catback.

You can swap the post mounts from the b16 motor to the b18c motor but id keep the solid mounts anyways a lot better for driving then oem
